My Brothers Possessive Best Friend 10

My Brothers Possessive Best Friend

It was lunch time and I was surrounded by my usual crowd of friends and Blake’s new flavour of the week. Which by the way is going to be getting a punch square in the face if she gives me one more dirty look!

Logan sat next to me gently rubbing my knee under the table, out of everyone’s sight. “Stay pussy cat.” He whispered in my ear, laughing at his sense of humour.

“Don’t start Logan.” I huffed. I’d forgotten my notepad this morning so I had absolutely nothing to distract me other then the pizza in front of me that seemed to have a life of its own. School meals for the win...not.

“I’ve got something that’ll cheer you up.” Ah Jesus Christ I know that tone of voice a mile of.

“Logan.” I said warningly. He rubbed his hand on my leg some more before taking it off and grabbing a chip from my plate to chuck at Blake. He took his head away from the girls’ neck and looked our way with an annoyed face.

“What.”

“You still going to your girl’s house for the night?” Blake looked at him confused before he was attacked by the girl sitting beside him.

“Oh baby I didn’t know you was coming over tonight! We going to get up to so much baby my parents aren’t even in all night.” Blake gave a sarcastic laugh that she thought was real before looking at Logan with a death glare. Then I realised what he’d done.

We’ve got the house to our selves.

For the whole night.

I got a warm fuzzy feeling in my tummy from the thought of being alone with Logan the whole night with no interruptions. I had to bite my lip to keep the smile back.

“Yeah, well, I wanted it to be a surprise I guess.” Blake muttered before getting attacked once again.

Logan laughed and placed his hand on my knee again and went back to rubbing my leg gently.

“Just you and me baby.” She near enough shouted and pointed a glare right at me.

“Turn your head another way bitch. I’m his sister so don’t try competing because I won’t have to lift a finger before I win.”

“Who the fuck are you to talk to me like that!?” Her false nails were pointing in my direction. Taking a deep breath I leant forward.

“Don’t start this if you’re not going to finish it.”

“Blake tell the bitch to move off our table!” At this point everyone laughed.

“ ‘our table’. Don’t get delusional! You’re only here because you’re an easy lay! Give it to the end of the week before you get chucked to the side and someone else is taking his attention.”

“That’s not true! He loves me! Not you that’s for sure. All you do is hang around with boys so how am I the easy lay!?”

“It’s quite simply actually. It’s the difference between ‘hanging around with boys’ and then ‘laying around with boys’.” She stood up too quickly for me to do something about it and slapped her clawed hand across my face. My head snapped to the side and I felt the sharp sting instantly.

“That’s right bitch! No one talks to me like that!”

Standing up in my chair I grabbed the top of her head with a chunk of her hair in my hand and slammed her head as hard as I could into the pizza. It splattered everywhere and when she lifted her head it was all over her face, in her hair, and splashed against her outfit.

“Whoops.” I could feel that the cafes attention had zoned in on the table. She launched herself at me from over the table, knocking us both to the ground. I was soon on top of her laying punch after punch into her face and stomach. I’m pretty sure people on the top floor would be able to hear her screeching in pain.

It wasn’t long before Logan and Blake were dragging me off her. “That’s enough Lace!” Logan wrapped his arms around mine and pinned them behind my back. The three of us left the cafe silently laughing as teachers rushed in to see if the girl was okay. We only stopped running when we got to Blake’s car and we’d all got in.

“You’d think everyone would know not to start with you by now.” Blake laughed as he indicated out of the schools parking lot. I laughed back and just turned to look out of the window.

“To be fair, she started it.”

“And your ass finished it.” Logan said with a large smirk on his face.

“Why did you do that to me man!” Logan turned to Blake with a confused look. “Ah aint you staying round your girls house tonight?”

“Oh.”

“Well?”

“I don’t know I generally thought you were. Might have been someone else who said they were then.” Damn he’s some good ass actor.

“Do that to me again I might be tempting to knock your ass on the floor.”

“Calm down you would have had fun.” Logan laughed. Blake laughed back at him knowing that he was right. The rest of the car ride home was set with a comfortable silence.

I could see the moon in the sky from where I laid in my bed. I could hear the boys playing the Xbox in the other room. Laughing and cussing each other when someone got killed by the other. When we got home earlier, I’d gotten something to eat and had come straight upstairs into my room. I’d drawn a little on my wall and mucked about on my guitar but other than that I’d done nothing.

To be totally honest, my head had been rushing and running with a million thoughts. I know that I don’t remember my Mother but I can’t help but be curious sometimes. Dad hadn’t told me or Blake a single thing other then she loved us both dearly. Whenever we tried to ask questions he would flip. And then over the past 4 years he’s hardly been home so he hasn’t been here to ask.

But I always get curious. What’s she like? Do I look like her? Is she really that much of a heartless bitch that she’s leave her two kids?

Whenever I try and bring it up to Blake, it’s like talking to a brick wall. Well, I suppose he knows as much as I do.

Hearing my bedroom door open I hugged the blankets tighter around me, not feeling in the mood to speak to either of them.

“Lace?” I felt the bed dip with his weight and then his chest press against my back. “I know you’re awake.”

“What gave me away?” I laughed.

“You breathe different when you’re asleep.”

“Freak.” He dug into my waist and snuggled deeper into my side.

“What’s up with you?”

“Nothing.”

“Bullshit.” I huffed out and turned around to swing my leg around his and put my hand behind his head to start playing with the ends of his hair. “Tell me.”

“Why?”

“Because I want to know so I can make you happy.”

“Well, I was just thinking about my Mother.”

“Why?”

“Curious. No doubt me and Blake caused the women some serious pain and I don’t know anything about her. I don’t even know her proper name!”

“Well if you ask me I think you’ve done just fine without her. You and Blake have. You’ve got a relationship that nothings breaking.” He kissed the top of my head.

“Even telling him that his best friend is going out with his sister.”

“Baby I’ll walk away before it’ll break you and Blake.”

“But that’ll break me.” He hooked his finger underneath my chin and lifted my head so I was looking at him. He placed his lips on mine gently once, but then with more force the second time.

“Then we’ll just have to see what happens because I’m not doing that.”
