My Brothers Possessive Best Friend 16
My Brothers Possessive Best Friend
Looks like I'm stuck in this hell hole once again. All though, things do seem to be...well, good lately. The only thing that I have nagging at my head is that I ne-we need, to tell Blake. A thousand situations have gone through my head as to how he would take it, and they all could be a possible...outcome. I knew that we had to tell him soon though. The longer we waited the more bad and guilty I felt. I mean, it's nearly been 3 weeks. He nearly walked in on us kissing the other day and it's safe to say that that was an awkward situation to explain.
"Miss Kelly if I'm distracting you from your thoughts feel free to do that outside of my room." Turning my head from looking out of the window I looked in Mr Gill's direction. He was a young teacher and there was more than enough rumours that he'd slept with one or two of the, how can I put this nicely ... more willing, students. I wasn't completely oblivious, I knew that he was extremely good looking, but he was the most annoying little fucker I've ever met in my life.
"Just get on with the lesson sir, I wasn't doing anything."
"Exactly, you weren't doing anything. You can't expect to pass my class with doing 'nothing', can you?" He stood there smirking.
"Well maybe I could get some extra help. But, you know, just not the extra help you offer Amber and Ashley perhaps." The class started laughing and Mr Gill looked pissed. Well, pissed might be a slight understatement actually.
"Leave! Now!" Picking up my books and shoving them in my bag I began walking towards the door. "And know that you've got detention after school for the rest of this week and all next week!" I noticed Skylar sitting in the front smirking.
"Sure you'd love that wouldn't you." The class snickered again and I walked out and headed towards the gym. Where I knew the basketball team were practising for the rest of the day.
"Lacey!" Turning around I saw Skylar rushing down the hallway with her bag and a grin. "Wait up!" She came running at me laughing. "Where you going?"
"To the gym to watch the guys play. Nothing better to do. You coming?"
"Will, erm, will Dylan be there?" Oh my god they have the same awkward shuffle! How adorable!
"Well, let me think. Dylan is on the basketball team so yes, your boyfriend will be there." Her eyes opened wide and she gasped. Laughing I put my arm around her and we started walking towards the gym. "Calm down it's only me around and plus, people are going to know soon anyway."
"I know. But still."
"Relax." I said as I pushed the double doors open and the sound on the ball being dribbled against the court amongst several people yelling was all you could hear. Skylar and I headed over to the bleachers and took a seat.
"Kelly!" I looked up and saw the coach standing outside of his office. Blake shouted what but soon realised that I was here.
"Coach." I said back. Everyone has stopped what they were doing and was looking in mine and Skylar's direction.
"Is there a reason why you are in my gym when you and your friend should be in class?" Coach Blackwell advanced towards us.
"We, well, I got kicked out. And Skylar here is just being an adorable little buddy of mine." I smirked at him and I could tell he was trying not to smile.
"So you thought you would come and distract my boys in training?"
"They suck anyway." They all shouted their protests.
"Is that so Miss Kelly?"
"Indeed."
"My best guy chooses someone to go against you and Skylar. First point wins." There was a moment of silence as I looked over to Skylar. She nodded in approval.
"Okay, we're game."
"Kyle! Chose your player." Logan stepped forward with a smirk on his face the size of Texas.
"I chose Dylan." Damn. This should be interesting.
Skylar and I stepped down from the bleachers and made our way to the edge of the court.
"Kick his ass Lacey!" Blake shouted from the benches that were now filled with the team.
"I've got my man, you get yours." Skylar whispered.
"What!? My man?"
"Lacey, I'm not an idiot. It would take one to see that you two don't have screaming chemistry. It's fine! I won't tell anyone, I have no one to tell."
Okay so is everyone calling my brother an idiot now?
Nodding shyly at her we stepped onto the court and I took to standing in front of Logan. "Ready to get your ass kicked baby?" He whispered to me.
"No, but I hope you are...baby." Winking up at him the ball was thrown up into the air. The boys cheered from the sidelines, Blake being heard from the all the rest, as I dribbled the ball towards our end of the court and passed to Skylar. Surprisingly, she caught it with ease and dribbled it past Dylan. They both looked loved up in their own little bubble as he tried to get it possession of the ball but failed miserably. I followed behind her, knowing the Logan was right behind me. She looked like she was setting up for a layup but at the last minute passed to me. The second the ball got into my hands I lined the shot and shot. The ball swished through the net and everyone cheered.
Turning around I smirked at Logan who was standing there, bewildered that I just actually scored. "You just got lucky." He muttered.
"Not, that's just skill. And we win." Skylar came up from behind me and hugged me.
"Lacey that was amazing!" Blake high fived me and wrapped his arm around my shoulder, laughing.
"You two just got owned." Logan and Dylan retreated to the side of the court and grabbed a drink. "I didn't know you could play ball like that Skylar?" She squirmed underneath Blake's gaze.
"Well I learned a lot from my older brother and I've been playing with D-someone, a friend...I've been playing a lot with a friend recently."
"Well you play good girl." He smiled down at her.
"That's because I'm an amazing teacher." Everyone's attention turned to Dylan as he came up from behind Skylar and he wrapped his arm around her waist.
"So you're the friend?" Blake asked with a knowing smile on his face.
"Something like that." He said as he placed a kiss on Skylar's temple. "I'll see you guys after lunch." And with that he dragged Skylar away.
"Wow, who'd of thought?" Blake whispered as they left the gym.
~
Walking out to Blake's car I sat on the hood and waited for him to show up, with Logan no doubt in tow. With my notebook on my lap I didn't notice that Logan was running at me full speed.
"Hey!" I laughed as he grabbed me off of the hood and hugged me until my ribs hurt in protest. "What's got you in a good mood?" I laughed as he put me back down.
"We're telling him." He smiled down at me.
"What!?"
"We're telling him, tonight. I can't take it anymore. I want to be with you and not worry that he'll walk in on something and flip. Seeing Dylan be like that with Skylar today made me realise that I don't actually care what anyone thinks, but I know that he needs to know. So we're telling him baby, tonight." He held my face in his hands and kissed me quickly.
"O-o-okay." I breathed. Oh my god, what's got into him? Are we ready to?
"Well if it isn't the basketball player and the girl. Logan being the girl obviously." Blake chucked the keys at me. It was a rare occasion that he let me drive. Something about not being a responsible driver. Jumping into the car I started the engine and drove home.
~
Turning into the driveway I cut the ignition and jumped out the car, heading for the door. Opening it I noticed something was off instantly. Checking the front room out I noticed nothing out of the usual. Heading into the kitchen my heart jumped into my mouth.
"Who the fuck are you!? Get out of my house!"
The women turned around in her bright pink stilettos and smiled a sickly sweet smile at me. She had a white suit on that showed off her body in all the right places. She stood at the oven, twisting a picture of me and Blake when we were 6 years old.
"Well, dear, I would be your Mother."
