Chapter 35
Embrace of Love 𐤀 || TK ✓

Author's Point of View
Taehyung, Jungkook, and Aera had spent the day shopping, wandering through stores, picking out clothes, decorations, and anything that caught Aera's eye. Taehyung loved spoiling his little princess, while Jungkook tried to keep him in check, reminding him that they didn't need to buy the entire store.
Meanwhile, back at home, preparations for the wedding were in full swing.
Jimin and Hobi had taken charge of booking the wedding hall and finalizing the decorations. The two of them had been glued to their phones, discussing ideas, sending messages to decorators, and making sure everything was perfect.
Namjoon and Yoongi had stepped up to handle the catering and other essential arrangements, ensuring that every detail aligned with perfection.
Jin and Grandma sat together, making a list of close relatives and friends they needed to invite. It was a bittersweet moment for Jin, as he realized his son was finally stepping into a new chapter of life.

Hours passed, and soon, the day took a turn Taehyung wasn't prepared for.
"But why? No, I'm not going anywhere! I will stay here only!" Taehyung whined for the third time, crossing his arms like a stubborn child.
The reason?
Jin had ordered-no, commanded-that Taehyung move into the guest house with Namjoon, Yoongi, and Hobi. According to tradition, he and Jungkook couldn't stay together until the wedding.
Jungkook felt a pang of guilt watching Taehyung sulk. Truthfully, he didn't want the separation either. He had grown used to having Taehyung around, and now, even a temporary distance felt unbearable.
"Seriously, Tae, it's not like we're sending you to another city. It's just the guest house-it's literally behind this house!" Jin said, completely exhausted with Taehyung's childish behavior.
"Still, I don't want to go!" Taehyung shot back, his voice filled with defiance.
"You have to go, Tae. And that's final," Jin declared firmly. "It's your Halmeoni's order. You can't stay in the same house as Jungkook before the wedding. It's a ritual."
The argument stretched for another fifteen minutes, but in the end, Jin won-though not without Taehyung pouting dramatically.
Muttering something under his breath, Taehyung stomped to his room, dragging his feet, looking like the most betrayed person in the world. He sat on the bed, arms crossed, lower lip jutted out in a deep pout.
Jungkook, feeling bad for his Hyung, excused himself and went to check on him.
Opening the door, he found Taehyung still sulking, staring at the floor like a child who had been told he couldn't have his favorite candy.
"Hyungie" Jungkook called softly, drawing out the nickname.
Taehyung's pout deepened.
Jungkook chuckled and sat beside him. "It's just three days, Hyung" he tried to console.
"Just?! It's not just three days, Baby! It's 72 hours! That's 4,320 minutes!" Taehyung complained, as if listing the numbers would make Jungkook understand the depth of his suffering.
Jungkook couldn't help but laugh. "I know, but it's a ritual. And it's Halmeoni's order. We have to follow it. Please, Hyungie" he coaxed, placing a hand on Taehyung's thigh.
Taehyung stayed silent for a moment before sighing dramatically. "Ugh, fine... I'll go," he muttered. Then, a mischievous glint flickered in his eyes. "For now. But I can't promise anything."
Jungkook raised an eyebrow at that but didn't question it. Instead, he helped Taehyung pack his things.
Just as they finished, Jimin called for Jungkook.
"I should go," Jungkook said, standing up and heading towards the door. But just as he reached for the handle, a strong hand grabbed his wrist.
The next second-he was spun around and pinned against the door.
Jungkook gasped, blinking in surprise.
Taehyung's left hand rested behind his head, ensuring he wouldn't get hurt, while his right hand pressed gently against his waist, holding him close.
Jungkook's breath hitched. His wide eyes met Taehyung's intense gaze-the kind that made his heart race.
Taehyung was memorizing him.
It was a silent moment, filled with longing, admiration, and love.
Jungkook swallowed, suddenly feeling shy. His cheeks turned pink under Taehyung's unwavering stare.
"Hyung" he whispered.
Taehyung leaned in, bringing his lips close to Jungkook's ear. "I'll miss you, love," he murmured, his deep voice sending shivers down Jungkook's spine.
Then, a soft kiss on his earlobe.
Jungkook's breath stuttered. His heart was pounding.
And then-Taehyung tilted Jungkook's chin and slowly, gently, captured his lips in a kiss.
Jungkook's eyes fluttered shut as warmth enveloped him.
Taehyung moved his lips slowly, deeply, lovingly. He wanted to memorize this feeling, to hold onto it because he knew he'd miss Jungkook's presence terribly.
Jungkook kissed back, his hands sliding up to Taehyung's neck, fingers brushing against his soft hair.
It was sweet. Passionate. Full of silent promises.
They parted slowly, resting their foreheads together, breath mingling.
"I'll see you soon, Hyungie," Jungkook whispered, pressing a final kiss on Taehyung's cheek before leaving.
Taehyung stood there, watching him go, already missing him.

Next Day | Night
It was late at night-past, The main house was quiet, everyone already asleep except for one person who just couldn't bring himself to rest.
Jungkook sighed as he stood in the garden, the cool night breeze brushing against his skin. His thoughts were all over the place, thinking about everything that had happened. His life had taken such a big turn, yet he felt nothing but happiness and warmth. He looked up at the sky, the moon shining brightly, and smiled softly.
But just as he was about to go inside, a strong pair of arms suddenly wrapped around his waist, pulling him back. A small yelp escaped his lips, but before he could react, a familiar scent filled his senses.
"Shhh, it's me," a deep voice whispered near his ear, sending shivers down his spine.
Jungkook's eyes widened as he turned his head slightly, his suspicions confirmed when he saw Taehyung smirking at him.
"Hyung! What are you doing here?!" Jungkook whisper-shouted, looking around in panic. "You know we're not supposed to meet before the wedding! What if someone sees you?"
Taehyung simply chuckled, tightening his hold around Jungkook's waist. "Then let them see. What will they do? Cancel the wedding?" He teased, resting his chin on Jungkook's shoulder.
Jungkook huffed, trying to look annoyed, but the warmth of Taehyung's embrace made it impossible. "What if Eomma or Halmeoni wakes up?"
"Then I'll just tell them the truth," Taehyung replied smoothly. "That I missed my soon-to-be husband way too much to stay away."
Jungkook's cheeks heated up, but he tried to act unimpressed. "Tch, missed me? We saw each other this morning."
Taehyung turned Jungkook around in his arms so they were now face-to-face, their bodies barely an inch apart. His gaze softened as he looked into Jungkook's big, expressive eyes. "A whole day without you feels like years, Love."
Jungkook's heart skipped a beat. He quickly looked away, pretending to be unaffected. "Flirting won't work, Hyung. You still need to leave."
But Taehyung wasn't going anywhere. Instead, he leaned in closer, his deep voice playful yet firm. "Not until I get something."
Jungkook raised an eyebrow. "Something?"
Taehyung smirked. "A goodnight kiss."
Jungkook's eyes widened, and he immediately pushed at Taehyung's chest. "No way!"
Taehyung sighed dramatically. "Fine, then at least let me hold you for a little longer."
Jungkook sighed but let Taehyung pull him into another tight hug. He rested his head against the elder's chest, feeling his steady heartbeat. It was warm. Comforting.
For a moment, they stayed like that, wrapped up in each other, the night sky watching over them.
Then, an idea popped into Jungkook's head, and a mischievous smile curled on his lips.
"Alright, Hyung," Jungkook said sweetly, pulling back just a little. "Close your eyes."
Taehyung looked at him suspiciously. "Why?"
"Just do it," Jungkook insisted, blinking innocently.
Taehyung sighed but obeyed, closing his eyes. Jungkook giggled softly before leaning in close-so close that Taehyung could feel his warm breath against his lips.
Just as Taehyung thought he would finally get his kiss, Jungkook suddenly blew a small puff of air against his lips before pulling back with a laugh.
Taehyung's eyes snapped open in confusion. "What was that?!"
"A goodnight kiss," Jungkook said, grinning cheekily.
Taehyung narrowed his eyes, crossing his arms. "That wasn't a kiss, that was-!"
"Shhh, Hyung~" Jungkook teased, placing a finger on Taehyung's lips. "You wanted a kiss, and I gave you one. Now go before someone catches you."
Taehyung groaned, dragging a hand through his hair. "You are a little devil, Kook."
Jungkook only giggled, stepping back toward the house. "Goodnight, Hyungie" he sang in a teasing tone.
Taehyung watched him disappear inside with an amused yet defeated sigh.
"Just wait, you Bunny creature," he muttered to himself with a smirk. "After the wedding, you won't escape so easily."
