*Luke's POV*

She asked me what a mate was.

Ever since she asked me and I gave her my amazing answer we haven't spoken since.

It's been 4 weeks since I tried to get her to talk, and to open up to me but she won't budge.

She doesn't trust me.

And I don't know if I can do it anymore, it's hard having a human as a mate, it's very rare to have a human mate.

I can't do it any longer. I am alpha I need my Luna. The pack needs their Luna.

I'm seriously considering choosing another girl to become Luna of the pack.

I've also noticed that Kat had been a lot more quite, and I haven't seen her around much except for the classes we have together.

I started to get worried.

Is something happening at home? Is she okay?

While I was lost in my thoughts I felt something cling onto my arm.

Oh yeah I forgot to say I'm standing in the middle of the school hallway.

I don't feel sparks so it's not Kat.

I look down and see fake blonde hair.

Daisy.

She looks up at me. Her face full of makeup, the amount of perfume she has on is killing my nostrils, her fake tan makes her look like a cheese dorito, and her clothes looks like she's a prostitute.

"Hey Luke." she purred attempting to sound sexy but sounds like a dying cat.

"Hello Daisy." I say look straight foreword.

Maybe Daisy could be the new Luna of the pack?

"How's the pack?"

"Umm I'm not to sure at the moment. Its a bit everywhere." I answer honestly.

"Right." she says running her hand up and down my arm.

"You know if you ever need help with anything I'm always here to help." she says.

I just nod my head. I smell her smell and it takes my mind of everything.

I just stare at the door.

I see her walk in look absolutely beautiful.

She walks towards me.

Me thinking she was gonna stop and say hi but she didn't. She kept walking.

I felt a pinch on my arm breaking me out of my trance. I look down and see Daisy looking up at me.

She smiles "I'll see you at lunch sexy." and walks away.

Thank god she's gone.

-Lunch-

I got up from the table to go for a walk, Daisy was killing me big time.

I was walking until I was being dragged away, over to the plain field.

Really girls must be loving me today.

It must be my hair.

I feel a sting on the back of my head.

I turn and see Eve just slapped me.

"What the hell Eve?!" I say rubbing the back of my head.

"What the hell Lucas!?" Eve said raising her voice.

She used my name. No one ever uses my actual name.

It's Luke never Lucas.

I growl.

"Don't you dare growl at me. How could you?" She says pointing at me.

She's pissed.

"What?" I say totally confused.

"You've got to be fucking kidding me. What? You know what!"

"No I don't."

"Bullshit. You had Daisy wrapped around you like she's gonna disappear. You saw Kat walk in, you saw the pain in her eyes. You are her mate and you have Daisy wrapped around you." She yells at me.

So this is what she's on about.

"Well I'm sorry Eve, but I can't wait anymore. I need a Luna. Not just for me but for the pack. I can't wait anymore. She doesn't trust me, she doesn't talk to me anymore, she hasn't opened up. I can't wait. I'm done with waiting for her to come around. I need a Luna and I will get a Luna." I say strongly.

"Who's gonna be your Luna then Lucas?"

"Daisy. I think Daisy will be a good Luna for the pack. She is a wolf, and hasn't found her mate, plus she is in our pack already and she knows how everything works." I announce to Eve.

She stops and glares at me. Her jaw tightens and her eyes are throwing daggers at me.

"I can't believe you just said that. I can't believe you said that. You have a mate for a reason! Kat was made for you and only you and you were made for her. So don't you dare give me this, Daisy is perfect shit to me because you and I both know that's not true at all!!" Eve says and turns around to start walking.

'She has a point.' Jackson said in my head.

"You know what Luke?" Eve says turning around to face me.

"You have no idea how broken that girl is. No idea at all." And with that she changes into her wolf and runs away.

I stand there shocked.

Everything that just happen goes into my head.

Yeah Eve had some good points but I can't wait any longer.

I just can't wait anymore. I can't do it.

*Eve's POV*

That dickhead is dead to me.

*Kat's POV*

After I opened up to Eve, and had I crying session we both went our separate ways.

Mine being the bathroom.

I slipped into one of the toilets.

I went through my back and found what I was looking for. At the bottom was my blade.

It's been a while.

I need to fell something

I slipped one of my legs out of my jeans and put the end of the blade on my thigh.

I slowly cut my thighs.

Fat, Ugly, Slut, Whore, Mute, Bitch, Useless, Trash.

He doesn't want you. Your nothing. Mute bitch.

When I had finished I had 11 fresh cuts.

I cleaned up and stuck my leg back in my pants.

I winced at the sting.

I was just about to open the toilet door when I heard the other door to enter the bathrooms open.

"Oh and did you hear that Luke and Daisy are going out now?" The first girl said.

"What really. Where did you hear that? Like I saw them in the hallways together and at lunch, but I didn't think anything of it." the second girl said.

"Yeah Daisy told me." the first girl said.

"So he did give up on the mute one?" The second one said.

"Yeah he did. I fell sorry for her though. Like yeah she's weird but the way Luke just dumped her was like nothing." the first girl said.

That made me smile and frown at the same time.

"How did he dump her?" The second girl asked.

"Like the other day the Mute girl and Luke where fine then poof it's Daisy and Luke in 24 hours."

And with that they left.

Wow. So I am officially done for. I knew he would give up soon.

But to the bitch Daisy.

That's so low man.

I'm nothing to him now but a mute bitch I guess.
