I sat there in the cubicle thinking about what those girls said, it hurt a lot hearing what they said but it's true.

Why would someone like him want to hang with me let alone be with me?

I hear the door open alerting me that someone as entered the bathroom.

"Kat are you in there?" I hear a sweet voice say.

Eve.

Eve is here.

"Yes." I whisper, and open the cubicle door.

I see her standing there giving me a slight smile.

"Just so you're filled in. I yelled at Luke for treating you like poop. He's a dickhead. Don't worry about him" She says. I smile and say thanks.

She looks in my eyes then down my body to see if I'm okay.

I see her eyes stop at my thighs. I look down and notice that you can see a tiny bit of a cut and blood running down my leg from the rips in my ripped jeans.

"Kat?" She questions. And slowly walks towards me. I walk backwards until my back hits the wall.

"What's that?" She points.

"What's what?" I'm gonna play dumb and hopefully she will drop it.

"The blood and cut?" She's gonna push it.

"Oh that. Ha ha ha. Well you umm see, the cat scratched my leg yesterday and the cut must of re opened." I say hoping that my lie fools her.

"Don't you dare lie to me. I can read you like a book Kat I know you cut. And you don't have a cat. You have allergies to certain fur types. So don't lie to me again."

"Sorry."

"Why'd you do it?" Her tone drops and I can see her eyes getting glossy.

"Just people." I reply

"He's done It this time that motherfudger." she yells and grabs my hand yanking me out the bathroom and down the hallways of the school.

"Ummmmm Eve?" What is she doing.

"I'll explain everything when we get to my car."

When we get to her car she turns on the ignition and starts driving.

"An explanation please?" I ask.

"So it's Christmas and it's supposed to happy right. Well I'm gonna take you shopping for clothes to wear tomorrow, then your gonna sleep at my house, in the morning I'm gonna get you ready for school looking super sexy, then for Lukes Christmas gift your gonna talk to him." She says smiling at her plan.

Wait what?!

She wants me to speak to Luke as a Christmas present?! Then I'm sleep at her house? Wait then she's getting me to look sexy for school tomorrow?

"That's okay I guess. But I'm not sure on the talking part." I say uncertainly. She takes her eyes off the road to look at me.

"I also have a plan for that too."

It's so big. This is the first time I've been to the mall here in Australia.

Do they even call it a Mall?

We walk around the shopping centre for ages.

My feet are killing me.

We looked in Ally Fashion, SUPRÉ, Forever New, JayJays, Cotton on, Dolly and many many other stores.

We were looking through the racks full of clothes and I found a plain black long sleeve crop top, I turn to find Eve holding a pair of high waisted ripped jeans.

"Perfect." we bother say together and laugh.

We pay for the items and then go to a shoe store. We both decided on a plain pair of black heels.

We had finished our shopping and I texted my Mum saying I'm sleeping at a friends and her response shocked me.

'You have friends. wow okay honey have fun.'

Whatever.

We got into Eves car and drove to her house.

Her house was nice and small. 2 bedrooms 1 bathroom a kitchen, laundry and a living room. Perfect for Eve. It was really nicely decorated and really clean. She lives alone with her 17 fish.

We ordered pizza for dinner then went to bed.

-Morning-

I was happily dreaming about 5SOS until Eve comes and jumps on me.

"MORNING BABES. GET UP. GET UP!!" she yells jumping on the bed.

"I cooked breakfast for you. If you don't get up now I will poor a jug of freezing cold water on your head!" She says walking out of the room.

I make a very unattractive groan and roll out of bed landing with a massive thump on the hard wooden floor.

I make my way to the kitchen and smell pancakes and waffles.

"Oh hey Kat. How'd you sleep?" she asks smirking

I just glare at her and she laughs.

We eat in silence then she decides to yell. "LETS GET YOU SEXY!!!"

She drags me to her room and sits me In front of her mirror. She does a amazing job of doing my hair.

She done a waterfall braid. It was so pretty.

Then she does my makeup.

I told her to keep it simple but her being Eve she went all out with the smokey eye look.

Once finished she smiles at her work. She passes me the clothes and shoes we brought yesterday and pushes me into the bathroom.

I put on the clothes and look in the mirror.

I look so much like my mum.

I stepped out the bathroom and back into her room, only to see Eve jumping everywhere singing/screaming, and dancing to SLSP by 5SOS.

I got my snapchat out and recorded it and snap storied it and saved it.

"SHE LOOKS SO PERFECT STANDING THERE IN MY AMERIC-" she stops and looks at me eye wide.

"How much of that did you see?" She asked worriedly.

"Most of it. Check my snap story." I smirk.

"You didn't."

"Oh but chica I did."

I have noticed that now I just talk like I have for years. It's a really big improvement for me.

Ever since I opened up I am feeling more confident, I speak normally now.

"Holy shit. Kat you look hot. I would go lesbian for you." she says running and hugging me.

"Umm thanks."

"I never knew you have a nose and stomach piercing?" She says touching them.

I move back. "Most people don't until today."

I look at Eve and she has on. High waisted shorts and a white crop top with high tops. Her hair curled and makeup done similar to mine.

We both look smoking.

We stood in the middle of her full length mirror and took selfies.

We finish and make our way to school.

I get out of Eve's car and Tyler walks up and kisses Eve, and says hi to me I smile.

I walk into school ignoring all the wolf whistles, stares and whispers.

'Who's that?' 'Isn't that the mute freak?' 'Damn she's hot'

I walk into the hallway and notice that they have a Christmas theme going on.

I get to my locker and open it. Getting all my books out. As I go to close my locker and hand slams it shut for me.

I look and see Daisy and her followers.

"Look the mute bitch decides to look sluttly today."

Yeah I tried to look like you.

I just give her a glare and walk away.

I saw walking trying not to fall over in these heels when I bump into someone.

"Shit sorry Kat." I look up and see Luke.

I just look up and continue walking. I know what your thinking.

I am walking and I feel someone grab my arm.

I turn and see Luke.

"Can we talk?" He asked. He's got to be kidding me.

I just shrug my shoulders.

"Okay so umm. I've been a dick lately." he starts and I raise one of my eyebrows.

"And I just wanna apologise. So sorry for being a dick. And I will leave you alone from now on." he says rubbing the back of his neck.

"I've moved on so you can go back to your life." he smiles trying to sound as nice as possible.

He's such an ass. He says that to my face. That's he's moved on. That's so bad, and you can go back to my life.

What the fuck does that mean.

"I get it. I'm not good enough for you. It's okay. Why would you wanna hang out with me anyways. I'm just a mute bitch." I say out of the middle of nowhere. Everyone in the hallways gasps. My eyes widen. I just spoke to Luke for the first time ever.

And I just said it. I didn't even mean it to come out.

I look at Luke and his eyes are so wide they are just about to pop out of their sockets.

"You, you just spoke." he says and points.

"Yeah I did. It's good to see your true colours have finally shown Luke." I say walking away. Leaving Luke standing there gobsmacked, and everyone gasping and whispering.

"Surprised to hear the mute bitch talk. Merry Christmas everyone. Hope you liked my present." I say while walking down the hall and into my English class with a massive smile on my face.
