Rain Drops

I get my bike and start heading to school. Today it's Thursday and I literally stayed up all night doing nothing because I didn't have any homework and it's my second week of school.

Today......is definitely not my day, I didn't even have the time to eat breakfast and I forgot my lunch at home...just great...

When I get to the parking lot I spot a place for my bike and I hop off and go to school and headed to my locker. I open it and get my books for algebra and biology. A hand touched my shoulders, I turned around and said.

"Hey"

"Hi Y/n" I began walking to my class next to F/n when I bumped into someone. I probably looked like a tomato just when I realized who it was. C/n.

"Sorry," I said not looking up.

"Sorry, my bad," he said.

"No problem," I said still not looking up. We both continued walking.F/n looked at me and started laughing.

"W-what the heck w-was that?" she said "what?!" I hissed "it wasn't me!" I whispered. "Oh uh no, you know what I'm talking about," she said, "you look so red" she laughed even more. I rolled my eyes and said "I didn't know what to do " and cover my cheeks as if to feel the heat.

We continued walking and we got to our class.

When the teacher was explaining something. I couldn't stop thinking about C/n. I have no classes with him, he doesn't even know I exist at all for god's sake. I don't even know why I got a crush on him. He's so gorgeous and loving. He loves his family. He's so caring and helpful. I know all that from him just by seeing his face or even a small gesture from him. But there's only this little, tiny, small thing.....

He doesn't know I exist like I already said. We will probably never end up together, not even as friends. It's impossible.

I put my hands on my face, starting to get more thoughts.

Timeskip

I'm hungry. I could eat anything right now, I just need food.

I went to the cafeteria to find all my friends seated on our usual table finishing their lunch.

"Noooo. How can you all let me die here with no food" I said dramatically.

"Come on Y/n, it's not like you haven't eaten the whole day," one of my friends says.

"Actually, I haven't" I said. Their eyes widened and only one of them had food. Unfortunately, she had only three small chocolates left.

She passed me the chocolates and I ate them while I thanked her. I excused myself and headed for the doors of the cafeteria to go to the halls and sit there because when I'm hungry and I got nothing, I don't like to see other people eating while I'm here suffering. As I opened the door and my hand went for the handle, I felt a warm hand touch mine. It was C/n. We happened to open the door at the same time and his hands ended up touching mine when I was going for the handle. My eyes widened and my heart quickened and my cheeks burned. I looked down to prevent him from seeing my flushed face.

I said sorry and excused myself. I don't know what he's doing here, I usually never see him at this time. I sat there thinking about what just happened and hungry as hell. I took a book from my bag that I got from the library when someone suddenly opened the classroom door in front of me ....C/n....he gave me a small smile and I returned it as well being polite. He began walking towards the cafeteria's doors. I focused on the book again. I felt him turn around and glance at me. He hesitated on his way towards me. I kept my stare on the book very nervous and confused.

"Hey," he said. I looked around to see if the word was directed to me. There was no one else in here. "Uh.. hey?..." I said as I felt my cheeks burn "What are you doing here all alone?" He asked.

"No...its ....just not my day. Got work to do, tired, hungry-" I was cut off by him saying.

"I can buy you something if you want" he put his hands in his pockets and looked at me with a worried yet solemn facade.

"Oh -uh-umm no n-no don't worry I'm oka-" I was cut off again.

"You don't worry it's okay," he said while offering me his hand.

Of course, I took his hand. He opened the cafeteria door. I saw all my friends' eyes widen and whisper to each other. I was behind c/n and I moved my mouth excited pointing at c/n from behind for my friends to see. They did the thumbs up and continued bickering.

"What do you want?" C/n said.

With that, I told him what I wanted and I decided to stay with him and eat in the hallway while we talked about random things and believe me...it was very awkward and uncomfortable at first but we actually got to know each other.

"And...what would you choose to be your superpower?"

"telekinisis" i answered.

he also told me his pet died. His name was Oscar and he was a dog. I've always had a soft spot for animals.

I didn't even notice my hands on his, I removed my hands in a quick move. There was silence for various seconds until I got the courage to say something.

" um....thank you for telling, me," I said. I looked as his expression. He was confused and curious as to why I said thanks.

"You're not sorry for me?" He said.

"No..I mean yes...but actually no, I think it's okay, no one should feel sorry for you, you're just a normal person C/n that lost a loved one, you have your friends and if it's even possible..you have me too..and yourself. You're still lucky C/n.-" I suddenly stopped talking when he put his hands on mine, What do I do?....  "

he tightens his hand around mine.

"No one has ever told me that, in that way..thank you Y/n"

He made my heart melt. I took his hand in mine better and smiled at him while he chuckled.

We then said our goodbyes and I continued having my classes, we would often see each other in the hallway and wave and exchange smiles. I still can't believe I talked to him.

It's been some weeks and we've talked a lot actually, we even considered each other as friends. I still can't believe it. Now I was walking down the street to the park near my house. I always go there to get my stress out, there's a place in the park where there's an amazing view of the sunset and I always make sure to get there on time to watch it.

I feel a pair of hands on my waist, I turn around and see C/n.

"Hey Y/n" he says smiling.

"Hi C/n..what are you doing here?"

I asked exchanging a smile with him.

"I live a few blocks away from here," he says.

"Oh...okay ... I live down the street over there" I say pointing at the direction I come from. "and what are you doing here? how come I never saw you over here?" I asked.

he shrugged "I was just walking and I saw you," he said.

"Come with me," I said. He followed me and we got to the place at the park where there's always an amazing view of the sunset.

"Wow," he said. He looked at me in surprise while looking at the pink, purple, and gray sky. It looked like it was going to rain but it still looked amazing. I've always loved the rain. "how did you know about this place?"

"I once had a fight with my parents over something stupid. They yelled at me, I packed a small barbie bag" I said chuckling

"...that day I escaped at night and took a book and a flashlight with me as well. I fell asleep while reading it and woke up here just in time to watch the sunset.....I was a kid and I never forgot about this place. I always come here.... to... clear my mind" I said while watching the view.

He had a small smile plastered on his face and I exchanged smiles with him, my smile widened. I saw clouds but the sun was still setting. A raindrop makes its way down my face, soon covering all my body. C/n started to get up and I got up too. He started to walk away to avoid the rain but I stopped him by grabbing his wrist. He looked at me in confusion. We were already covered from head to anyways.

"Stay...come on" I started jumping up and down and screaming playfully as he tickled me."s-stop C/n p-please stop," I said between laughter.

"Say C/n is the best, hottest guy I've ever met in my whole life," he said.

"N-no," I said still laughing.

"Okay okay"I continued laughing while he tickled me. "C/n is the best,h-hottestg-guyI've ever met."I said very fast.

"You're missing 'in my whole life'" he said tickling me even more.

"Inmywholelife!!!...s-stop please"I laughed and then he stopped.'' that's for making me stay'' he said. Our laughter died down.

Now we noticed in the position we're in. I blushed when I noticed that I had my hands on his neck and he had me pushed up against a tree with his hands on my waist '' let's be positive. Rain is not that bad'' I said almost whispering because of how close we were. He slowly leaned and me too, our lips were first brushing against each other, we break the distance between our lips and then it happened, we were kissing with passion. It was a soft, lovely kiss.

We break apart still touching our foreheads and we both smiled.

"I like you Y/n/l"

"I really like you too C/n/l," I said with a smile plastered on my face.

With that, we kissed again with a long passionate kiss in the rain. We ended up playing with mud totally immature by the way and we were completely covered in mud. But what can I say...let's be positive.
