The Love Bug

Scott and Mitch were watching TV when all of the sudden a breaking news interrupted. "We have news of a new bug that has been flying around. It is called the Love Bug named due to when people who are in love with each other are bitten by it they become really affectionate towards one another." The lady announced. "This bug is identified by its heart shaped wings and so far there has been no cure for the bite yet so if you happen to get bitten let's hope that you aren't in love with someone you shouldn't be in love with." The lady went off air and the normal show returned. Mitch turned to Scott and said "I feel like that's a fake bug that doesn't exist. I mean come on a bug that makes you fall in love?? That's just ridiculous." Scott nodded his agreement and took on a mocking tone "Oh no, you've been bitten by the love bug, oops now I'm in love with my best friend." He laughed, but it was the partial truth. He wasn't supposed to fall for his best friend and yet he fell. However he was certain that Mitch didn't feel the same way about him.  Scott glanced over at the window, and noticing the window was open, stood up to close it. Just before he closed it a small bug flew in. Scott sat back down and continued to watch TV with Mitch. A couple of minutes later he started itching his arms and noticed Mitch itching his arms as well. "I guess that mosquito bit both of us" he observed. Mitch asked Scott "what mosquito?"

"The one that flew in when I went to close the window." Scott answered​ while kissing up and down Mitch's neck. "Oh. You're feeling extra loving tonight, are you ok?" asked a concerned Mitch.  "Yeah I feel great" Scott responded. "Oh good." Replied Mitch. Mitch then proceeded to kiss Scott's cheek multiple times. Scott was confused. Mitch normally wasn't this affectionate towards him. "Are you okay?" he asked. Mitch replied with a loud "yup". He turned to Scott and told him "Oh btw I meant to tell you I'm in love with you." Mitch casually said. " Scott was really confused then and decided to suddenly confess his feelings as well. "Oh funny you should say that I'm in love with you too. Always have and always will be."he said with a grin. They leaned in to kiss but before they could the  small bug flew between them. It had heart shaped wings. Scott and Mitch shrugged at each other and proceeded to make out all night long.
