Emily's pov:

All sorts of people were present wearing beautiful dresses.  I've never been to a ball before but it seems so unreal . It's like I'm dreaming. I'm holding Alex's arm and we made our way to a few people. It was a man with a beautiful woman . The man greeted Alex and then bowed down at me. The woman shook my hand. They started talking but they were speaking russian and I couldn't make out what they were saying .

The woman have blonde hair and pale blue eyes. She looks pure russian. She didn't talked to me but I didn't mind cause she don't know me.

The music dimmed to a sweet melody . Some coupals were dancing . The chandeliers were casting a beautiful golden glow. I wanted to dance too .

I tugged at Alex's cuff a little. He looked at me . I have a little pout. Do you need something , Kotenok? He asked me .

I i wanted to dance but that's okay if your busy . I told him cause I don't wanna be a nuisance to him . Without answering me he took my arm and toom us to the center of the floor .

He started moving us to the music. His movements are really beautiful . I was awed. He picked me up and spun me around .

t's really beautiful . The world seemed to be blurred around us. I was lost in his deep gray eyes. He was looking at me as if I'm his most precious thing. Something inside me stir.

He leaned down and pressed his lips against mine. I closed my eyes and got lost in the moment. He's the only thing that matters right now.

One of his hand was on my waist and the other was cupping my cheek . It's the most beautiful feeling ever.

We parted and I hid my face in his chest blushing enormously.  He then took us away from the dance floor . A man came near us and Charlotte was with him . I frowned . Now what do she want .

He came near us and greeted alex. He was about to take my hand but alex pushed him away and held me closer by my waist. His grip was possessive.

Don't fu kimg touch whats mine . He growled at the man and he visibly shook . I now alex is someone to be feared but seeing people shook by him just talking is something new.

I was just here to remind you that majorty of the votes are on my side . You're suppose to be married to charlett......

Alex didn't let him finish his sentence and growled . Don't fuck with me dante . I'm your king and I don't care how fucking votes you got. My word is law.

Alex took us to the food bar after saying that. I was bit confused. But shrugged.

Alex got us a table on balconcy and the  view outside was glorious.  A little snow was falling and I was awed . A waiter approached and served us food. I was totally hungry. I dig in and moaned at the taste of the stew. It was perfection.

Alex cleared his throat. So do like the ball so far kotenok . I nodded my head .

It's amazing.  Thankyou for inviting me.

I told him cause this ball looked to be arranged only for billionaires and I couldn't afford to come even if I sell my body.

No need to thank me kotenok. You're mine and I take care of what's mine. I blushed at his words.

After eating he talked to a few people and I was officially drained. I leaned on Alex's arm a little . He seemed to notice my tiredness and picked me up . My dress was not even a problem cause he didn't made a single noise while picking me.

He took us to his SUV and took us to home. I might dosed off on our way cause I was in his arms and he was takimg us to our room .

The chapters a little short but I swear I'll update soon. So sorry for the late update . Please dont curse me.•○•
