"You didn't start on dinner yet?" I heard my mother ask as I just shook my head sitting on the couch in the living room while everyone else was outside in the snow. I then realized my mother was staring at me. I finally looked at her "what?" I asked. "What's going on with you?" She questioned. "Nothing" I lied as she just looked at me "well are you pregnant? because you're glowing" she questioned as I just giggled. "No, I'm honestly tired of talking about me getting pregnant." I admitted  as she just continued to look at me.

"What? Are you trying and not abled too?" She asked as I just shook my head. "Then what's wrong?" She asked once again as I just shook my head "don't worry about it" I simply said going into the kitchen starting to prep food for Christmas dinner tomorrow night. My mother just turned from the couch watching me in the kitchen.

"What's going on in that head of yours?" She asked "ma don't worry about it" I simply said. "Is someone messing with you?!" She asked as I just rolled my eyes to myself getting a pot and filling it up with water before placing it on the stove. "No" I simply stated. "So what's the issue?" She questioned "nothing Ma do not worry about it. I'll handle it" I assured.

"Is chris cheating on you?!" She asked "what?! No!" I expressed before pinching the bridge of my nose pausing in the middle of the kitchen trying to collect my thoughts on what I was about to say. I didn't want to tell too many people because it's not anybody's business nor did I want anyone to persuade me into the wrong decision and I end of messing myself up.

"Y/N I'm your mother you know you can tell me out of everyone" she stated as I just took my hand from my face feeling a tear roll down my cheek. "What's wrong?" She asked softly before coming over to my side. I just placed my head into her chest crying to myself as she rubbed my back.

"I don't know what you got going on but you're strong and you'll get through it" she softly said continuing to rub my back and kiss my head.

I pulled my head from her chest wiping my tears as she looked me in my face and I couldn't help but look away. "What's going on?" She asked as I looked at her. "I love Chris to death but he's pushing for another kid right now and I don't want that. I went through a lot behind the scenes with Christiana and I'm not mentally prepared to go through the same thing with another kid" I explained.

"I want another one but with everything going on right now and not being in the right mindset to have one I don't want one. We argue constantly about this and I've been telling him but he feels it may not happen and I'm disagreeing" I said.

"You knew this is what he wanted when he married you right?" My mother questioned as I nodded. "So then why are you complaining?" She asked as I just sighed. "Ma I'm trying to explain to everyone how I feel and it's like going in one ear and out the other." I expressed. "But you knew this is what this man wanted" she said.

"Yes and I also said I wanted another kid just not right now" I reminded "you're not getting any younger. The longer you wait the more complications you'll have with getting pregnant and during your pregnancies." She started off as I just poured oil into the pot of water.

"You are married now sometimes you have to compromise on decisions you don't want too and honestly this sounds like one you need to compromise on" she expressed. "Ma what about me?" I questioned. "You're in a marriage it is no longer about you" She said as I just listened to her. "A baby can make or break a marriage just like infidelity and abuse but it's up to you if you going to give him another kid and it's quiet or you two Continue to argue and Fight until one day divorce papers are there" She explained.

"So it's either give him a baby or he'll leave me?" I questioned. "It's called compromising. If you want to stop the arguing and the tension then just do it" She said as I just slowly nodded my head. "And besides he's a good man if you don't give him the baby someone else will" She simply said before walking away from the island as I was stuck pondering in my thoughts.

"You'll be fine anyway you two make some beautiful kids" She said before hitting my butt and going back into the Living room watching TV.

Maybe everyone is right and I'm just over exaggerating. I just have this fear it's not going to go the way everyone is making it seem. I know I love Chris and I really want this to work but there's this thing that keeps telling me somethings going to happen regardless.

I prepped the food so I can just throw it in the oven in the morning to make everything easier for tomorrow then got dressed in something warm going outside with everyone.

"You having fun in the snow?" I asked Christiana smiling at her as she smiled up at me.

"Yes" She said making me smile hard as she was running around with Aiden and Ava. "I'm going to do a backflip!" Jonathan said excitedly. "Oh God" I said pulling my phone out.

He went in the middle of the road as it was semi full of snow "Aye it's ten degrees!" He yelled as I continued recording him. "But it's aight! I can still bend my knees!" He yelled beginning to bend his knees. Ow!" He yelled beginning to run "lemme see if I can still do this shit" he stated before doing a cartwheel in the snow going into a backflip but sadly just fell on his head in the snow and laid there making us all laugh.

"How you feel?!" I asked through my laugh as he got up walking towards me. "It didn't work out as planned and my goddamn neck hurt" he expressed as we laughed even more. We then seen a car pull up as I seen Krystal coming out of the back seat. I immediately ran towards her and jumped onto her as we fell in the snow. I started kissing her all over her face as she laughed.

"Oh my gosh! Get your ass off of me!" She shouted in between her laughs as I just smiled at her and she smiled at me. I kissed her nose as she laughed and I rolled off of her. I helped her up as I felt someone throw a snowball at me. I looked seeing Chris as I threw a snowball back at him and we all started having a snowball fight. I got a whole bunch of snow trying to jump onto Chris but he picked me up falling back into the snow as I laughed.

I looked at him and smiled before kissing his lips as he kissed back slowly.
