I got out of bed and went to the bathroom before throwing on my shorts heading downstairs seeing my dad cooking and my mother helping him, “Good morning son”, my mother said to me giving ne a hug

“happy holiday son now pass me the eggs”, I grabbed the eggs as I wanted to talk with her in private cause they say mothers know but I need her to be on my side when he comes over.

“damn what’s the secret”, we walked outside laughing at him comment as we sat on the porch chairs, “so you know my friend zay right”

I went upstairs getting dress cleaning my room up before our entire family come over as I washed up throwing on my all white polo outfit before going downstairs being greeted by my mother side of the family as my dad stayed in the kitchen cooking being rude as always when her family come over but always so close to my auntie. I sat down talking to my cousins when his side of the family come as he was so excited to see them as my mother and uncles talked about it calling him weird  as I just laughed cause this is just the beginning my dude didn’t even get here yet, we played games, smoked and drunk half of the bottle as the doorbell ringed and I got a text saying “I’m outside”, and so the party begins.

I went to the door opening it for him as he hugged me as I let him I’m, as I greeted him to my family as my dad and his brother stood their just watching judging. We all sat down talking with my dad brother being rude of course, “so why you not with yo family”

He laughed before snatching my mother up as she pushed him away from her as he threw her hitting her arm on the table to block her head from hitting it, I got up running towards him throwing punched left, right , right again as he fall with his brother attacking me as zay jumped in pulling him off me as he swung on him as they started fighting as I ran to my mother side helping her up sitting on the couch, “I don’t need this”

“Lets go, ma”, my once father said

“I’m over your homophobia, it was whatever with random people but that’s your son”
