Remembering Rishabh's angry face, Anokhi quickly shook her head and said, " No, you get very angry."

Anyways I have left my future wife just like that. " , Vikram mumbled the last sentence which was heard only by Hardik standing next to him. On hearing this Hardik looked at him with a teasing smile and Vikram got more irritated.

Rishabh made Anokhi sit on the sofa and Alka sat near Anokhi's feet. She kept Anokhi's right leg on her knee and started looking at it closely.

While checking Anokhi's feet she said, " Shanaya had told me that this problem is since birth so do you have any idea how this happened or can you make me talk to your parents so that I can know properly what happened."

Anokhi's face turned pale after listening to her parents. Rishabh immediately said to Alka in his harsh voice, "Whatever it is, you find out by yourself."

Rishabh's tone was so harsh and cold that even Alka remained speechless. She was unable to say anything. Anger was clearly visible in Rishabh's tone. His eyes were on Anokhi's pale face.

Anokhi took a deep breath and said to Alka, "Dai Maa told me that when my mummy was seventh month and I was in my mummy's womb, she had an accident due to which the umbilical cord got stuck in my leg and this was the result of that.

"Okay, I understand. I don't have my medical kit, Hardik, will you give me your medical kit?", Alka said.

"Yes aunty", Hardik said and quickly brought his medical kit and gave it to Alka. Alka took out a small hammer from the kit and started hitting Anokhi's ankles slowly on her toes and asked her, "Is it hurting here? Are you feeling anything?"

When she hit the ankle with the hammer, a slight scream came out of Anokhi's mouth. Alka put the hammer back and started looking at her ankle carefully.

"Bring her to the hospital so that I can get her X-rayed and some tests done. The amount of massage done to her feet in a month and the effect of the medicines will be known only after the X-ray.", said Alka while standing up.

Just then Anokhi said quickly, "I had taken all the medicines but the massage was not done much. I , riya didi and maa did it only for a few days."

Hearing Anokhi's words, Rishabh's eyes wandered here and there. He knew that he used to massage Anokhi's feet every night , but Anokhi was sleeping peacefully, how would she have known about this?

Rishabh said in a strict tone to Anokhi while silencing her, " she did not ask anything to you, so sit quietly."

Then Rohit said, "Yes, it does not matter, I will take Choti si Bhabhi. Anyway, I had to go to the hospital to get my hand checked. With this excuse, all the tests of Bhabhi will also be done and after that we will also eat ice cream."

Rishabh lost his mind as soon as he heard Rohit's words. He started staring at Rohit with devouring eyes. But what else could he do except staring. Now he could not say in front of everyone that he would take his wife along.

Vikram was laughing looking at Rishabh's face. He further provoked Rishabh and said, "Yes, why not, you are absolutely right Rohit. In fact, I will also come with you. It has been a long time since I ate ice cream." While saying this, Vikram was looking at Rishabh from the corner of his eyes and Rishabh was looking at him.

Shobha silenced both of them and said, "Absolutely not, you both will not go. Rishabh is there, he will take Anokhi."

Rishabh was very happy after hearing Shobha's words. He jumped up in his mind, but the expressions on his face were as if he was not bothered about what was being discussed there and to show it to everyone, he said to Shobha, "No way mom, I am not going. I don't have time to take her in the hospital."

Anokhi started looking at him with a frown on her face and Vikram started laughing in silence with his hand on his mouth. He said to himself, " abe bewakoof aadmi, Tu kudh hi apne pair par kulhadi maar raha hai.."

Shobha started looking at him after hearing Rishabh's words. When Rishabh felt that Shobha would agree to what he said, he immediately said, "Okay fine, there is no need to stare like this. I will take her away or else you will emotionally blackmail me again."

He said and went to his room.

Swati's house_

Swati lived in a chawl. Her house was very small. There was only a kitchen, bathroom and a hall in her house.

Swati said in a loud voice while hurriedly putting food in the tiffin box in the kitchen, " Hurry up Shwet or else you will be late for school."

A 5 year old child came out of the bathroom who was wearing school uniform. While washing his hands, he said, " Offo you maasi maa, I am not late. I will reach school on time."

" Yes yes I know you will reach school on time. But it is important to board the bus at the last movement only.", Swati said scolding him and started putting the lunch box in his bag.

She quickly took Shwet's bag and water bottle and came out of the house with Shwet. She locked the door of the house and picked up Shwet in her arm's and started running.

Swati's house was in Chawl, so the school bus could not come to her house, so Swati had to walk a little distance to reach the main road.

As soon as she reached the main road, Shwet's school bus arrived. Swati put Shwet's school bag on him and put the water bottle around his neck and said, "Go to school properly, study well and"

Then Shwet interrupted her and said, "And if you are late in coming, wait in the school only, don't go here and there. I know everything maasi ma, you say the same thing every day. I remember everything and you should also remember that you have promised to feed me ice cream."

"Yes yes I remember my promise." Swati said and kissed Shwet on his cheeks and made him get on the bus and Swati stood there until the bus left.

Then Swati came home. She looked around the house. The hall and the kitchen were completely messed up. She took a deep breath and collected all the clothes scattered on the bed and put them in the cupboard.

Then she pushed the half portion of the bed inwards so that the bed became like a sofa. Then she went to the kitchen. She cleaned the kitchen and prepared her lunch box too.

While doing all this, it was 9:30 in the morning. She looked at the time on the clock and said while working quickly, "Today I will definitely reach work late and all those bees will come flying to me to sting me."

Then she changed her clothes and came in front of the mirror and started doing her hair quickly. 25-year-old little dark-skinned Swati was very beautiful. Even though her complexion was dark, her body structure and sharp features made her different from others. But this very beauty of hers always created problems for her.

After her sister died, Swati worked day and night to raise her son. In the morning, she would teach yoga to people, drop Shwet to school, go to the mall and at night, she would write online articles. She worked at many places but people would definitely try to take advantage of her beauty and being a mother of a child. Due to which she had to leave her job, but before leaving, Swati would definitely teach them lesson to modest her.

After get ready, Swati took her bag and started to leave, but then her eyes fell on a picture hanging on the wall. In that picture, there was a girl of Swati's age whose face also somewhat resembled Swati. There was a garland on that picture and a Diya was burning in front of the picture.

Swati looked at that picture and said with moist eyes, "Shweta, time is passing very fast. Your son has turned 5 years old. Did you see, I got him ready, sent him to school. He pretends a lot, he is just like you." Saying this, she became silent and then after a pause said, "Yes, yes, not like you, but like me. Although he is exactly like his maasi maa in nature, but his heart is very loving just like you. I wish you were here but it doesn't matter, I will raise him just like a mother. He will not have any problem, so you stay calm. Okay, now I will talk about the rest after coming back, right now I am delaying. "

Swati took the photo from her fingers and put her fingers on her lips and left the house.

Afternoon time_

Rishabh had gone to office from home and after finishing his meeting in office, he came to the hospital with Anokhi in the afternoon. He was sitting in Doctor Alka's cabin waiting for Anokhi to come, whom Alka had taken for the test.

After waiting for some time, Alka brought Anokhi.

" Are all the tests done?" Rishabh asked while standing up, then Alka told him, " Yes, they are done. The reports will come by tomorrow or day after, after that I will come home and tell you what to do next."

" Okay, no problem. " , Rishabh said and signaled Anokhi to come out and left the cabin.

Anokhi turned and looked at him and then said to Alka, " Thank you doctor. "

" Not doctor, aunty. You can call me aunty and it's okay, go quickly otherwise he will leave." Alka said with a small smile on her lips, Anokhi also smiled at them and went from there.

Rishabh came near the car and sat on the driving seat and bent towards Anokhi and started to put on her seat belt, then Anokhi said, "I have learnt to put on a seat belt. I know how to do it."

"Very good, but do this when you are with someone else. There is no need to do it with me." Rishabh said while coming near her face and putting on the seat belt and then he put on his seat belt and started the car.

Anokhi was looking outside the window and Rishabh was driving the car. Anokhi turned and looked at Rishabh, then thinking something, she started looking back towards the window. After two moments, she did the same again.

Rishabh was noticing her actions without looking at her. He said to Anokhi while looking ahead, "What's the matter, tell me." "

" Are we going home? " , Anokhi asked immediately after he said this.

Rishabh shook his head at her and said, " Yes, but only you. I will drop you home and go to the office. "

On hearing this, Anokhi's face turned pale. Seeing her pale face, Rishabh narrowed his eyes and asked her, " What happened? Don't you want to go home? "

" I want to go, but " , Anokhi stopped while saying this.

Rishabh asked again, " But what? "

Anokhi started playing with the edge of her dupatta. She said to Rishabh with hiccups, " Rohit Bhaiya had said that when he takes me to the hospital, then we will go to eat ice cream, but you are going straight home. " Anokhi's voice became soft while saying this.

Rishabh frowned after hearing Anokhi's words. He stared at her and asked, "So you want to eat ice cream."

Anokhi slowly nodded her head in affirmative. Rishabh stopped the car on the side of the road and unbuckled his seat belt and leaned towards her and said, "I will give you ice cream but what will I get in return?"

"Ice cream, you can also eat ice cream." Anokhi said quickly. Rishabh teased her and said, "But I don't like ice cream. I don't eat ice cream."

"Then you can eat something else. If there is something other than ice cream there, then you can eat that." Anokhi said while thinking.

Troubling her further, Rishabh pulled her nose and said, "Only ice cream is available in the ice cream parlor."

Anokhi pouted when her idea was ruined. She thought that now she will not get the ice cream because Rishabh will not get anything, so she lowered her head and seeing her cute sad face a smile came on Rishabh's lips.
