Preeti, controlled her laugh and said, “Vikram , you too. You think of such things even when you are angry. I did not pick up the phone and did not reply to the message, so sorry for that. But I had told you that a very important case has come up, I did not even realize when the whole day passed in that. When your call came, I was in the hearing. I thought I would call later but it slipped my mind and right now I was out with Papa and the phone was in the room, so I could not pick it up.”

“Okay fine, I have accepted your sorry for now. But yes, when you come to Mumbai, you will definitely get punishment.”, Vikram said, then Preeti said while playing with the chain around her neck, “Okay, you will punish me. So I will do one thing, I will not come to Mumbai at all.”

“Beware, if you even think of cancelling your visit to Mumbai. Remember Preeti, if you do not come to Mumbai, I will come to Dehradun and pick you up and bring you to Mumbai. You know who I am.  ” , Vikram said threateningly.

Then Preeti said quickly, “ Yes yes I know you are a member of The Seven Rings, but that position is of no use to me. Maybe you don't know that that member of the 7 rings loves me a lot, he can never get angry or upset with me and he can never force me for anything. So your words cannot apply to me. ”

“ Well, that's it. You just come to Mumbai, then I will tell you all the positions and all the rules and stop playing with the chain I gave you. I can see, you have started loving that gift of mine more than your life, that's why your fingers keep touching it all the time. Do you miss me through it? ” , Vikram said mischievously, then Preeti quickly left the chain and said making a face, “ Tell me one thing Vikram , how do you come to know about everything about me. Have you installed a camera in my house through which you keep watching me all the time.  "

" Yes, the camera is fitted but not in your room but in your heart and through that camera I get to know about your every move." , Vikram said and Preeti smiled.

She came inside the room and said, “Okay, we have talked enough, don’t you want to sleep?”

“I want to sleep but what can I do, I can’t sleep thinking about you.”

“Then wait for four more days. I am coming to Mumbai after four days.”, Preeti said while lying on the bed.

On the other hand, Vikram also lay down on his bed and said to Preeti, “I know that is why I am getting more excited. After four days, two big things which are very important in my life are going to happen. Thinking about them does not reduce my excitement.”

Hearing this, Preeti got a little confused and said, “Two things.” Then Vikram said, “Yes, first of all you are coming to Mumbai. I will see you after so many days, I will meet you and secondly, in the party to be held after four days, I am going to introduce you to a person whom you will be very happy to meet.”

“Okay, who is he?  " , Preeti asked a little surprised, then Vikram smiled and said, " That will be known only after four days, so for now no question, ok good night and I love you. "

" Hmmm, good night ", Preeti said and hung up.

Vikram looked at Preeti's photo on the phone screen and said, " I don't know when that moment will come when you will say I love you to me Preeti? "

On other side Preeti looked at Vikram and her photo on her phone screen and said, " I know you wait for me to say it and every time when I say nothing you get a little disappointed, but how can I say these beautiful words on the phone. When we meet, then I will look into your eyes and say I love you Vikram, I have started loving you a lot. " Saying this Preeti felt shy and kept the phone aside and went to sleep.

Standing outside her room, Sudhir was smiling after listening to her. Preeti's outspoken laughter and her words had given Sudhir the relief that now she has accepted Vikram. Not only did she accept him, she has also started loving him, she has started being happy with him, which was a big thing for Sudhir and had removed all Sudhir's worries.

He came to his room and looking at his wife's picture said, "Now our daughter will never have any problem in life. Vikram will give our daughter all the happiness that could not come in our daughter's life due to my one wrong decision. But now this will not happen. But there is one thing that is sad, we are leaving Dehradun. You know that Vikram has settled in Mumbai itself, so Preeti will also have to go there and that is why Sanjay Sir also shifted his company to Mumbai so that I can stay with our daughter. Really, Sanjay Sir is no less than an angel for us. He always took care of us. I hope you will be happy to see your daughter.  Very soon our daughter will start a new life. Bless her." Sudhir's eyes lit up as he said this.

Manish and Archana were both sitting in the dining area.  Just then Mitali came running there and showing the invitation card in her hand to Manish, she said in surprise, "Papa, this is really an invitation from Rishabh Shergill. Is Rishabh Shergill really inviting us to Mumbai for his party?"

Listening to her, Manish smiled and nodded his head in yes. Manish's condition looked very bad at this time. His eyes were filled with dark circles, his face had completely withered, hair had turned white.

Seeing him saying yes, Mitali sat on the chair and looking at the invitation, she said with a sparkle in her eyes, "Oh my God, Papa Rishabh Shergill has given us an invitation. If my luck is good, our life will change."

“ How is that possible?”, Manish asked. Mitali said, “If Rishabh likes me, if he falls in love with me, if I get married to him, just think how much we will benefit. Your business will change its direction. You are Rishabh Shergill’s father-in-law, just by this title people will start working with you. You will get so much respect and I, whatever bad reputation I have got in the jewellery industry in these three months, after becoming Rishabh’s wife, everything will end completely. Think about it, Papa.”

Manish started thinking after listening to her. His eyes slowly started turning red with greed and a sly smile came on his face.

Archana was watching both of them. There was no expression on her face, but there was definitely a disappointment in her eyes.  She said to Mithali, “Insults were bound to happen in the industry, you stole someone else's work and gave it to them by giving your name, so they will not sit quietly and I am thinking how did you give 50 crores compensation to the company? It was the goodness of those people that they did not file any case against you but from where did you give the 50 crores, I have not got the answer to this till date.”

On hearing her, Manish also started looking at Mithali. Because he was also so lost in his matters that he never paid attention to where Mithali brought 50 crores from.

Mithali said hesitantly, “What do you mean? I agree I have given my name on someone else's work but I did it with his consent, I did not steal it. In return, I gave him money.  He didn't want name, he wanted money so I gave it to him and as far as the 50 crores are concerned, I had my savings and I have borrowed some from my friends which I will return to them later with interest and if I get married to Rishabh Shergill, I will return double the amount." Saying this Mithali threw her hair back and swaggered.

Then Archana brought a faint smile on her face and said, “I don't know much about him but I definitely know that Rishabh Shergill is not a simpleton whom you can propose and he will say yes to marry you. I don't know how he behaves but just by looking at his picture I can tell that he has an eagle's eye. Do you think that you can make him yours by hiding your deeds. If you follow the right path, you will get love or else there will be only destruction, beta.”

As soon as Archana finished speaking, Mitali hit the table loudly and stood up and shouted at her, “Enough is enough, I have been listening to you for so long, it does not mean that you will say whatever comes to your mouth. What kind of a mother are you, you are ruining the happiness of your own daughter. If you have a mother like you, then no one needs enemies.  I don't know about tomorrow but if Rishabh really doesn't marry me then I will definitely accept that it is your evil eye that has fallen on my happiness." Saying this she left.

Archana looked at Manish and there was a slight displeasure on his face. He also scolded her a little and said, "What wrong was she saying, she is just talking about the happiness of all of us. She is our daughter, if we don't think about her happiness then who will? You shouldn't have said such things Archana. I didn't expect this from you." Saying this he also left from there.

Archana was shocked to see the conversation between the two and their behavior towards her. She said to herself, “Even I did not expect from you Manish that you would become like this in so many years. You are not the person I married. I don’t know what happened in all these years that you became such a person. You see nothing except your own benefit. You don’t see what is right or wrong and you taught the same to Mithali and Gaurav. Gaurav tried to do such a cheap act with his own wife and now he is in jail. My Omkar did not become wrong but I don’t know why he does not come home, he behaves with you like a stranger and Mithali, why does such a thought come again and again in the mind that I wish” Archana stopped while saying this.

She wiped her tears and taking a deep breath said, “Mithali’s behavior, her words may be bad, no matter how rude she is, but you cannot change one truth Archana that she is your daughter. The daughter for whom you sacrificed yourself.  That daughter for whom you remained in coma for so many years.”

While talking about all this, she also got up and left from there without eating food. But she was unaware of the fact that two people were listening to her conversation.
