“Is that so?” Huo Yao shrugged with the tobacco bag in her hand. She did not waste time talking to Shangguan Hou. “Where is Wei?”

“Do you want to see him? That’s easy enough.” Shangguan Hou raised his hand to check the time. He laughed ambiguously and said, “Don’t worry. You’ll see him soon enough.”

He was checking the time to see how long he had to go before the effects of the drug kicked in.

Huo Yao knew Shangguan Hou did not lure her out to have a heart-to-heart talk with her. She pursed her lips and said nonchalantly, “Do you think you can get me with your drugs a second time?”
