Chapter 636: Pill Refining Apparatus

Huo Yao was eating breakfast when the bell rang. Song Ning stood up and asked quizzically. “Who could be knocking on our door so early in the morning?”

Since Huo Yao was expecting a package, she took a big gulp of milk before she raised her hand and pulled her mother’s arm. “I am expecting a package. Why don’t you sit down and finish breakfast? I can collect it myself.”

Song Ning stood where she was for two seconds. Since her daughter had already gotten up and was heading out, she sat down at the dining table.

Before long, Huo Yao came back with a huge box.

Song Ning hurriedly went over to help. “What did you buy? This is such a huge box of stuff.”

Huo Jinyan stood up as well and walked over. “Since the box was huge, you should have asked me to help…”

Huo Jinyan carried the box as he spoke. Just as he was about to take the box from his daughter, he discovered that it was unusually heavy.

He was instantly dumbstruck.

Huo Yao tilted her head sideways and said, “It’s fine. It is very heavy, so neither of you can carry it.”

Her parents became speechless.

Huo Yao had already carried the box into her pharmaceutical laboratory on the ground floor.

The husband and wife watched awestruck as their daughter effortlessly walked off with the huge box before they looked at each other.

“That box must be about 25 kilograms, right?” asked Song Ning softly. She had tried to take it previously, so she knew how heavy it was.

Huo Jinyan’s lips twitched. “I think so too.”

Despite their daughter’s vulnerable image and slender build, she was shockingly strong.

Huo Yao’s parents remained standing where they were when she came out. They were clearly still reeling in shock. However, she merely glanced at them before she headed out.

‘Don’t Steal My Lingzhi’ had sent Huo Yao three boxes in total. It was the pill refining apparatus that she needed for treating her brother. After making three trips, she finally moved all the boxes to the room.

She spent 30 minutes opening the packages and installing everything before she finally finished.

“What are these things for?” asked Song Ning as she pointed at the black apparatus sitting at the table.

“It’s for refining medicine,” replied Huo Yao succinctly before heading out.

Song Ning and Huo Jinyan glanced at the apparatus. Despite their curiosity, they did not keep probing and left the room as well.

The moment Huo Yao poured herself a glass of water, her phone buzzed in her pocket. She took it out, looked at the screen and her eyes automatically lit up before she answered it.

“I have the medicine you need.” Min Yu’s cool voice came from over the phone.

Huo Yao put the glass down on the table. “Then, I’m coming over now to get it.”

“Sure. I’ll be here waiting for you.”

Huo Yao was in a good mood when she put away her phone. She raised her head and told Song Ning that she was heading out for a while.

Before long, she walked out of her place and headed to the villa next door.

She raised her hand to verify her fingerprint and the door opened.

After Huo Yao entered the villa, she noticed that Min Yu was alone in the living room. She could not help feeling puzzled. “Where are Zhuo Yun and Yang Yi?”

Min Yu glanced at her before he replied calmly. “They have work to do.”

Huo Yao touched her nose and did not keep thinking about it. “I see.”

Min Yu stood up and walked up to the side cabinet and took out two boxes unhurriedly. “Here is the stuff you need.”

Huo Yao’s eyes sparkled. She thanked him and put the boxes on the coffee table. Without wasting time, she opened them for a look.
