Worried that the children couldn’t wait and would head home themselves first, Qiao Nan sent a short message to the children’s headmaster, Teacher Yu, when she went to the washroom. Everyone in the office took Qiao Nan’s speed seriously. When Qiao Nan finished organizing the information on her hands and wanted to key them into her computer, the crisp sound of typing with the keyboard could be heard. In the quiet office, this sounded even stranger and more attractive.

Xu Xinming and Li Dawei looked at each other. This was the first time they saw Qiao Nan using a computer. They didn’t know that Qiao Nan could type so quickly and she pretty much didn’t need to look at the keyboard. From her typing speed and frequency, it was obvious that an average clerk couldn’t be compared to Qiao Nan.

They turned back and thought about how they always stumbled in their typing and couldn’t type much content in an hour. Xu Xinming’s and Li Dawei’s faces tightened. It was rare for them to be stunned at Qiao Nan’s all-rounded ability.

After finishing her work, Qiao Nan hurriedly picked up her bag and was ready to leave to pick up the children.

However, Li Dawei blocked Qiao Nan’s way when she just stood up and walked a few steps. Qiao Nan’s facial expression immediately turned ugly. “I’m sorry. Please get out of the way. My children are already out of school, so I have to hurry and pick them up.” When the 27-year-old Qiao Nan was in the unit, not only could she generously mention that she was already a married woman, but she could also bring up the fact that she had children.

So many people in the ministry didn’t ask her for help before. How did Li Dawei become so thick-skinned to have said that they should help one another out so that the whole department could become more united?

Sure, she could help. However, who was going to help her pick up the triplets?

“Okay, you don’t have to tell me anything. Let me make this clear. Before your arrival, our ministry had never encountered such a mess before. Everyone has their own workload. We should be maintaining the work attitude of each performing its own functions. We can only improve the ministry’s operations if we complete our own tasks. I’ll give you a suggestion. At this point in time, Qiao Nan’s patience for Li Dawei broke.

She didn’t understand. Li Dawei obviously knew what his shortcomings were. Why didn’t he try to improve himself but engage in such cheap tricks every day instead? Did water enter his brain? Did he really think that the ministry purely relied on brains to get things done and emotional intelligence to improve relationships with others?
