Chapter 9

As soon as I woke up I noticed two things, one I wasn't in little space anymore and two I wasn't in my room. I remember last night very well and it's quite embarrassing. I feel really bad for waking up my brother and his mate, I'll talk to him soon. I turn to my side and I see Nikolai with his eyes closed and his right arm thrown over my waist.

He looked so peaceful as he slept. There were no worry lines present and he seemed less intimidating. After 15 minutes of not doing anything and trying not to move much I started to get really bored.

I used my pointer finger to boop his nose but he didn't even flinch a little. I booped it again yet nothing. I sighed and just started running my finger down his cheekbone and the bridge of his nose.

"Princess what're you doing?"

Nikolai still had his eyes closed and it startled me for a second. Quickly composing myself I blushed taking back my hand and shrugging.

He smiled and finally opened his beautiful eyes taking my hand and laying a kiss there.

"Good Morning Princess." He tightened his arm around my waist and pushed my head into his neck hugging me closely.

"Mornin" I yawned out hugging him back and throwing one of my legs over him.

"I definitely love waking up to this"

I blushed and mumbled something along the lines of 'shush' and 'stop making me blush', Nikolai just chuckled and kissed the top of my head.

"Come on princess we gotta get up and have some breakfast"

"Do we have to?" I whined wanting to stay in bed cuddling for a while longer.

"Yes and stop being a brat about it since you're already on thin ice."

He followed up his words with a smack to my bum that made me squeal in surprise and quickly get out of bed.

'Meanie' I whispered under my breath as I walked to the door.

"Careful little one just cause you're cute doesn't mean I won't punish you"

I blushed and grabbed his hand as we made our way to the dining room for breakfast.

"Nikolai can I go hang out with my brother today?" We were currently walking down the hall to our rooms after an amazing breakfast.

"Of course baby. I have to go to another boring meeting today but I'll go find you afterwards."

He gave me a kiss that left me dazed as he walked away smirking. Soon my cheeks were flaming as I stumbled around trying to open the door to my room.

After changing and making myself look presentable I went to search for my brother.

"Hey!" I jumped on Lucians back and giggled as he stumbled

"Hey you! What's up?" He twirled making me giggle even more and then set me down so we could talk.

" I wanted to talk to you. Firstly I need to apologize for last night I'm sorry about barging in like that. And also thank you for being so cool about it, and also helping me out."

"Of course silly! No need to say sorry. I'll always help, mostly if it's for something to do with your mate and you."

I gave him a tight hug and then we sat down and talked some more catching up on these last few days. He told me that the meetings were coming to an end and the big final one that I would have to be present for would happen two days from now.

I knew what that meant, Nikolai would have to go back home. I didn't say anything and just continued on with our conversation, but deep down I was scared.

A couple of hours later and Lucian and I had already had snacks and watched some episodes of criminal minds with me when my phone beeps telling me I had a message.

"Hey Princess, meeting is over, where are you?"

I smiled at the text and Lucian snickered taking my phone from my hand.

"Hey! Give it back...!"

"Aww how cute! He calls you princess" he coos and awws and I just blush trying to get my phone back.

Finally I managed to get it and send a text back saying I was in Lucians room. Soon enough the door was opened and in walked the two alphas, Nikolai and Xavier.

Before I can even process anything Nikolai is hugging me and placing a quick kiss to my lips. I pout and try to kiss him back but he refuses. I grumble something under my breath and stomp my feet a bit.

Nikolai simply ignores my bratty attitude and says his goodbyes telling me to do the same. I hug Lucian and wave goodbye to his mate as I hold Nikolai's hand and start walking back to his room.

Once inside he sat down on the edge of his bed and looked at me seriously.

"What was with the attitude back there in front of your brother and his mate huh Savanna?"

Oh oh

"Uhm I'm sorry..." I whispered lowering my head. "I... I just wanted a kiss from you"

I looked up and saw his features soften a bit and he stretched out his arm.

"C'mere you"

I quickly make my way into his arms and hide my face in the crook of his neck.

"Just cause you want something doesn't give you permission to be a brat Savanna, you could've just asked me"

"I know and I sorry" I nodded my head slightly against his neck.

"I know you are Princess." He grabbed my chin and moved my head to look at me. His facial expressions quickly changed into a frown.

"Why are you crying Princess?" I'm sure I looked confused as I raised one of my hands to touch my cheek and sure enough it was wet.

I shrugged a little and wrapped my arms around Nikolai's neck hugging him tightly. He hugged me back almost immediately and I smiled.

"You're such a bratty princess." I giggled and look at him. I tap his shoulder making sure I have his attention.

"Can I have that kiss now? Please daddy" he chuckled and lifted me up and placed me down on the bed.

He was on top of me in mere seconds and his lips were on mines before I could register anything else happening.

He kissed me hard in the way someone kisses to assure that person and themselves that they are ok. That there is love and that they each belong to each other. I never wanted this kiss to end and even though it lasted longer than a human kiss would we still needed to breathe.

When I opened my eyes I made contact with his and he was smiling down at me. I gave him a smile of my own.

"Is that what you wanted my little brat?" He leaned down and started laying kisses on my cheeks and slowly started moving down towards my neck.

He was licking and sucking and kissing on my neck while all I could do was moan and squirm a bit. Suddenly Nikolai growled and he was off me and on the other side of the room in less than a second.

I sat up startled and look at him confused.

"Is everything ok?" I stood up and walked to him putting my hand on his arm.

"Yeah it's just kissing you like that and being so close to your neck made my wolf want to mark you and I didn't want to do anything rushed and without asking you first so I needed to get control."

I nodded in understanding and laced my arms around his torso. He wrapped his arms around me as well and laid his chin on the top of my head.

"Princess I want to ask you something."

I looked up at him curiously.

"Yeah?"

"Would you be like to be my official girlfriend and little as well?" He was trying not to sound nervous but I could see right through his act.

I squealed and jumped up and down in happiness.

"Yesyesyesyesyes!!"

He laughed at my excitement and grabbed me by my waist carrying me on his hip.

"There's also something else we have to discuss and you probably won't like it too much"

"Huh? And what's that..." I was kinda nervous now.

"You my little bratty princess need rules"

As soon as the word rules left his mouth I was already groaning and whining. Secretly though I was ecstatic that he wanted to take care of me.
