Chapter 14

Next morning I woke up with my legs tangled with Nikolai's and my head resting on his chest. He had his arms around me and I could hear his heartbeat.

It was really comfortable there and I didn't want to move but I really had to pee. I poked him on his belly but he didn't even feel anything.

I poked him again and whispered "Daddy..."

I groaned in frustration seeing as nothing was waking him up.

I start trying to wiggle my way out of his arms and when I'm almost out I feel him grab me and pull me back into his arms. His mouth now inches from my ear.

"Where do you think you're going princess?"

That sentence alone sent chills down my spine and I almost moaned at the sound.

I blushed and covered my face with my hands.

"Daddy I have to use the bathroom and I tried to wake you up but you just wouldn't!"

I felt his arms let go of me and he laid on his back throwing one of his hands over his face making all his muscles flex and causing my mouth to water.

"Alright princess, sorry I guess I was more tired than I thought"

I quickly rushed to the bathroom and once I was done I peeked my head into the room,

"Daddy do you have an extra toothbrush I could use?"

I heard him sigh and chuckle a little before getting out of bed and walking towards the bathroom.

"You're one early riser aren't you princess?"

"A little bit."

I giggled and he went into the bathroom getting a brand new toothbrush still in its box from a little space in his cabinet. Once that was done Nikolai too had brushed his teeth and I left so he could use the bathroom.

I don't know what we'll do today but I'm a bit nervous to meet other pack members. I should probably go for a run too since I'm getting kinda restless and I'm sure Diamond would love to get familiar with her new territory.

"C'mere princess. So the maid brought a dress, jeans and a t-shirt, and short overalls with another shirt, what do you wanna wear?"

I smiled as he places the clothes on the bed and looked at all of them. I shrugged a little and looked down chewing my lower lip.

"How about you wear this shirt with the jeans? Do you like that?"

He picked up a white shirt that said "never too old for fairytales" in black, and a pair of black jeans.

"I like that. Thank you. You didn't have to though, I brought clothes."

"It's fine princess. Let me spoil you."

I smile shyly and nod my head slowly. I quickly change into the clothes he gave me and braid my hair to the side.

"You look beautiful"

"Thank you daddy"

"Let's go get some breakfast yeah?"

"Yes please!"

We headed towards the kitchen and I sat on a stool as Nikolai talked on the phone with someone in Italian and started on making coffee.

He hung up the phone and while the coffee was brewing he went to the fridge and was rummaging through it.

"Princess I've got orange juice, milk, and apple juice. What do you want?"

"Daddy you pick" I put my hands on the counter and put my chin on my arms and look at you with a shy smile.

"Alrighty Princess. Milk it is."

As soon as daddy was done with preparing my milk and his coffee there was a knock on the door which Nikolai went to open and then came back with a tray full of steaming hot breakfast foods that smelled fantastic.

He served a plate for me with pancakes, bacon, eggs, and hash browns. And after serving a plate for himself he sat next to me.

"Princess I have a meeting today with the pack warriors and I want you to come with me although it'll be in Italian but it won't be that long and afterwards we can do something together."

"Ok daddy. Sounds fun. I'll just cuddle you and maybe nap a little"

I giggled and went back to eating the last few bites of food I had left.

"I don't think I'll ever understand how someone so small can fit so much food in them and so fast too"

Shrugging I looked up and smiled "it's my superpower daddy"

"Oh you silly girl. How about you put your plate on the sink and go watch something while I finish and get dressed yeah?"

" ok daddy"

I stood up and place a kiss on Nikolai's cheek and go put my plate in the sink then go into the living room to channel surf.

After a while Nikolai is standing in front of me while I whine for him to move.

"Princess you'll be able to finish the movie another time. It's not going anywhere we have to go"

"Daddy but I love this part! Look just look! It's amazing!"

"Baby I know you love this movie but we're gonna be late."

"I want to watch the movie!"

"Savanna, don't raise your voice at me like that ok. As Luna of this pack you should be at this meeting at least to meet the warriors so get that pretty little ass of yours up and let's go unless you want me to spank it"

With a prominent pout on my face I lower my head and stand up turning off the tv.

"Thank you. Now let's go we're gonna be late."

Nikolai grabs my hand and guides me outside to his car. The place where the meeting was being held was about 15 minutes away and as soon as we got there we got out of the car and went inside.

Everyone was already there and as soon as I was surrounded by big scary men I started getting scared and hiding behind Nikolai. He seemed to have noticed my change in attitude since he wrapped his arm around me and guided me towards the table.

As soon as everyone was seated the meeting began and I started wandering off in my head since I couldn't understand anything. I guess I must've been dozing off since when I opened my eyes I was on Nikolai's lap. It was really quiet so I looked around suddenly becoming very scared as I saw all the warriors covered in blood, I looked up and saw Nikolai with blood dripping from his lip and I was covered in his blood.

Everyone was dead. I didn't understand how this could've happened. It took me a moment to realize that the screams and cries that I was hearing were my own.

I woke up with a start, a scream leaving my lips and I look up and see the worried eyes of Nikolai staring down at me.

"Princess are you ok? I tried waking you up but nothing seems to work."

I raise my hand towards his face but stop inches away from touching him, scared that he would vanish.

"...daddy...?"

I wasn't sure if he could hear the desperation behind that word but suddenly I was being carried by strong arms.

"I'm here baby. Daddy's here. Don't worry"

He said something in Italian that I didn't understand but I guess he canceled the meeting since everyone started leaving the room until it was just us two.

"Baby what happened to you?"

"Daddy it was horrible! The warriors. They were dead. And you. Oh Daddy you were dead too! And I was covered in your blood and... and..."

"Shh...shh princess it's ok. See? Look I'm fine. Not a scratch on me. It was just a dream baby. Breathe ok. Just take some deep breaths"

I nod my head and try to get my breathing under control.

"Come on let's go get some lunch and after we can go walk around in the park and clear our heads ok."

"Ok daddy"

Nikolai leans forward and kisses me slowly and sweetly and I smile as he picks me up and started walking towards the car.

"I'm always gonna be here baby. No need to worry that pretty little head of yours."
