Chapter 76
Seducing My Ex's Father In Law by Caroline Above Story
Chapter 0076 Judyâs POV I wasnât blind. The guy who was hanging out in the parlor with Irene and Ethan was incredibly attractive. He was also kind of familiarâlooking. He was looking at me as if I was the only person in the world and it made my cheeks burn.
I blinked a few times and offered him a small smile before quickly leaving the room and rejoining Ma outside. He was throwing daggers at the dummies. His form had improved over time. When I approached, he stopped and took the water bottle I offered him.
âDo you know who if Irene was expecting company today?â I asked, sitting on the grass beside him.
He looked towards the villa and thought about it for a moment, and then recognition flashed in his eyes.
âMy cousin Walter is visiting for the month,â Matt answered. âI only met him once, but I think heâs supposed to be here at some point today.â
I furrowed my brows as I thought about that, and then I realized why he looked so familiar, âWalter Landry? The French journalist?â I asked, raising my brows.
I knew of Walter Landry of course, but I thought it was just a coincidence that his last name was the same as Gavinâs. I didnât know he was actually related to Gavin Landry and his family. But Matt nodded his head and peeked up at me.
âYes,â he answered. âYouâve heard of him?â
âOf course, Iâve heard of him. His work is incredible,â I said, shaking my head thoughtfully. âI canât believe you are actually related to him.â
âHis last name is Landry,â Matt said with a smirk.
âYeah, but I thought it was a coincidence,â I admitted. âWhatâs he doing here?â
Matt went to answer, but a new voice sounded from behind me, making my entire body freeze.
âIâm after my next new story. Do you have any leads for me, Miss Montague?â
I whipped around to face Walter walking towards us; the sun shined its rays down on him and he looked like an angel glowing in fluorescent lighting. He was handsome for sure, but not as handsome as Gavin. The family resemblance was definitely evident though.
I blinked a few times, trying to regain my focus and mentality.
andry, itâs an honor to meet you,â I said, holding; out my hand to shake his.
He looked at my hand for a moment and then smirked before taking hold of it; his hand was warm in mine. He didnât shake my hand, but instead, he brought it to his lips and kissed the top of it gently.
âNo need for formalities. You can call me Walter,â he assured me âThen you can call me Judy,â I replied.

âHow long are you visiting for, Walter?â
âIâm only here for a month,â he answered. âUnless I am given a reason to stay longer.
He looked into my eyes as he said that last part and the meaning was not lost on me.
âOh, Judy. I see youâve met my cousin,â Irene said, walking towards us with Ethan trailing behind her. Ethan looked furious as he glared at Walter, and I was wondering what his issue was.
âYes,â I said, straightening my posture. âHeâs quite charming.â
âThatâs my cousin for ya,â she chuckled. âWe were so close growing up. Iâm so glad to have him here. Itâs his first time in our country and I was going to show him around the pack. Want to join us?â
âI canât, I still have some work to do with Matt,â I said pointing at Matthew who was back to throwing daggers at dummies.
Irene pouted, clear disappointment on her face.
âThen we should probably get going,â Ethan said, grabbing Ireneâs arm. âWe have places to go. Donât we, Walter?â
Walterâs eyes remained on mine.
âActually, I would like to stick around for a bit longer. Maybe I could be of assistance to Judy here.â
I raised my brows at him.
âYou think you could be helpful to me?â I asked. âI donât think we need a journalist on the field. But thanks.â
I started to turn and walk away but Ireneâs voice stopped me.
âActually, Wallie has plenty of warrior training. Heâs going to be the new Alpha of the Black Night pack in France once his father retires,â Irene explained. âWhen heâs not running his own journalism company, heâs training with the warriors and learning all he needs to know about being an Alpha.â
Walter smirked at her words, and I raised my brows at him.
âIs that so?â I asked.
