3.The Party

Olivia

"No, we're not going.'' Lucy said.

''But why not??"I said.

"What do you mean why not? Thy are our enemies.'' she says.

"So what?''

"Olivia. Are you out of your mind?'' she says and glares at me.

"Okay, mon cheries, relax.'' Andy said from the car's back seat ''And Lucy face forward please, we don't need to crash.''

We're heading home and Andy is coming with us because his car is broken.

"I want to go to that party." I say.

It's my opportunity to see the Cullens in real life not just from cameras. And the first and last time I saw them was years ago, and I didn't even see them properly because my mom turned off the TV. My father keeps us away from our enemies and the last time I asked him about them, he didn't receive it that well. Since that day I haven't brought that topic up again. Something had happened between my father and Adam Cullen, something that makes my father sad.

"Why?'' Lucy asks angry.

"Because I'm curious.'' I say.

"Curiosity kills the cat.'' she says.

"Oh, come on, we should take risks at life, it's what makes it exiting.'' I say.

"Well, I don't want to make life exiting. I just want to make it safe.'' she shots.

"Ohh, that's a good one'' Andy cheers.

"Shut up.'' I say to him. "We will go.'' I turn to my sister.

"We won't go''she glares.

"We will''I glare back.

''We won't''

"Yes.''

"No.''

"Yes.''

"No.''

"No.''

"Yes.''

"Aha! I won.'' I grin mischievously and Andy burst out laughing.

"Wait, what? No.'' she says confused. "We're not going, Olivia. End of discussion.''

Oh my God, how can she be this stubborn?

"I need to go to that party. With or without you.'' I say and she narrows her eyes.

"You promised you won't create any troubles today." she says.

"The promise was just for being in school. We're not in school right now." I grin.

She looks at me with a serious face and then adds ''We're not going.''

"Ugh!" I groan "Andy, a little bit help here.''

''Nah, I don't need another fight with her.'' he says pointing at my sister.

I look at him in disbelief and he smiles at me.

''Come on, bro, aren't you curious about that party?" I say looking at him with deceiving eyes.  ''It says that everyone it's invited, imagine how huge it would be. And we get to see the Cullens and their lifestyle."

"Well...'' he says.

"And Lucy, aren't you curious about the Cullens and why dad never talks about them to us?" I say to her.

"I see what you're doing,'' she says and then narrows her eyes "It won't work.''

"Ugh!" I groan.

"Come on Lucy think about it. Let's just go to the party, have some fun and return home. The Cullens don't get to see us, but we see them and their lifestyle. It's a win-win'' he grins.

"Oh, come on, you too?'' she asks.

''It's tempting." he grins and winks at me.

''Yes, bro.'' I high five him.

"They are our enemies.'' she says.

Still isn't convinced.

"But they don't know us'' I say.

''And we'll be invisible.'' Andy adds.

Lucy sighs and then makes a thinking face.

She's thinking about, that's a good sign.

"You're still grounded." she says with a smirk.

Oh, yeah. I'm grounded.

"We can sneak out?" I ask.

"What? Absolutely not.'' Lucy says with a terrified face. I roll my eyes.

"Nah, Liv, you'll be in big trouble when Aunt Melinda finds out." Andy says.

Yeah, he's right. My mom would literally kill me.

"Well, I guess I'll tell dad." I say.

"Oh really? And how will you say that to him, genius? Like 'hey dad, I'll just go to your biggest enemy's party can you unground me just for this night? ' '' Lucy says and I roll my eyes.

"I have my own ways." I say." So will you come or not?''

Please say yes.

"No. You two can go and get in trouble by yourself.'' she says, and I smirk.

"You're letting us to get in trouble? And won't come to protect us? Wow, you have really changed. Right Andy?" I say and she rolls her eyes.

"Oh yeah, doesn't seem like Lucy at all.'' he says.

"Ugh, I really can't with you two." she sighs.

"So that means we're going?" I ask.

"Whatever." she says.

"Yes." me and Andy cheer.

"You're the best sister in the world!" I say hugging her.

"Go away psycho, I'm driving." she says with a smile in her face.

"Daddy!!" I say in a high-pitched voice.

"Oh, this won't end good." he says between his teeth. ''Yes, pumpkin?"

''I need something from you." I say with a smile.

"What do you need?'' he asks.

"We're not ungrounding you." mom says.

Ugh, this woman knows me too well.

"I wasn't about to ask you that'' I say in an innocent voice and Lucy snorts.

I glare at her.

"It's Mia's birthday tonight'' I lie.

I don't know who Mia is. But my parents don't know that.

"And?'' mom asks.

"And she invited me.'' I say.

"Well, you're grounded miss.'' mom says in a hard tone.

''I know, but everyone is going, and I really wanted to go. But it's okay even if you say no mom, you don't have to feel bad about it." I say and my mom makes a sad thinking face.

Ha, one down, one to go.

"The only one that's missing it's the Meyer.'' I whisper and my dad's head shots up.

That's it, Olivia Meyer!

"Well, I think we should let her go, dear.'' my dad says.

"But-"

"Just for this night.'' he interrupts her.

"Fine.'' she agrees "But Lucy is coming with you." that's what I want dear mom.

I shot Lucy's a mischievous look and she rolls her eyes.

''Are you ready girls?" mom shouts ''Andy is waiting downstairs.''

"We're ready mom.'' I shout back.

"Oh my God, you two look so beautiful!" Mom gasped as soon as we entered the living room.

"Thank you, mom!" I smile.

I am wearing a short black dress with black high heels. I did my hair wavy and tied them with a black ribbon. And I'm wearing a lot of jewelry...

Lucy is wearing a black skirt with a pink sweater.

Always the soft girl.

"Don't you think your outfit it's a bit of exaggerated?" Lucy said to me.

"A girl never exaggerates, Lucy." I say and mom laughs.

"Well, it's mine not too good for this party then?" she asks.

"Do you like it?"I ask her.

"Well yes-"

"Then why are you asking me?" I say to her.

"Well-" she smiles as she realizes what I meant.

"Okay, go now girls you'll be late." mom.

says "And I want you two at home by 10 o'clock, you hear me?"

"Okay, okay mom." I roll my eyes at her.

"Goodbye girls. Say happy birthday to your friend by me. "Dad shouts.

"Bye dad." me and Lucy shout back.

"You know we will be dead if he finds out where we're really going, right?" Lucy asks as soon as we're out of the house.

"Yeah." I whisper.

"Wow, girls you like fire!!" Andy says.

"Thanks Andy, you two. "Lucy smiles.

"Let's go and take the breath away from the Cullens." I say

"Hell, yeah!" Andy laughs.

⚛⚛⚛⚛

"Holly shit!" Andy whispers. "So, the Cullens Are rich."

"Yeah genius, they aren't our enemies for no reason." I say to him.

We just arrived at the Cullen's mansion and the party had started.

And holly shit, this mansion is huge! It has a huge gate with an enormous garden surrounding the mansion and a rocky path makes its way from the gate to the mansion's entrance.  All the lights are on making it look like a fucking king's palace.

"This house is breathtaking!" Lucy says.

"Okay stop talking, let's go inside." Andy says and pushes us forward.

And holy molly mushrooms if it isn't as breathtaking as it looks from the outside!

There are a lot of people here and the music it's too loud.

We got a drink and started dancing at the music.

Well, me and Andy is dancing, Lucy is too busy sipping her drink.

"So, who are the Cullens?" I asked my sister.

"You see the one coming down from the stairs?" she says pointing at some extremely hot blonde guy.

My breath hitches when I set my eyes on him. His blonde fluffy hair is falling on his forehead, and he pulls his hand through them. I find the movement extremely hot as his biceps flex when he brushes his hand to his hair.

He comes down the stairs and mets a boy at the bottom, he hugs him and gives him a smile that makes my body shiver and my brain frizzle. His smile is beautiful. I force myself to tear my eyes off him and turn my attention to my sister instead.

"Yeah?" I say out of breath.

"That's Joel Cullen."

"Oh."
