"Harika! Your silence is scarring me. Just tell me yes or no! I never thought to propose you suddenly like this. I had different plans for that but today's incident changed my mind. I don't want anyone else lay their eyes on you. I don't want to sacrifice you for anyone in this world. Tell me?" He asked looking straight into her eyes."Harish! I... I really don't know what's going on in my mind. I don't know what is the relationship between us but I'm sure, I can't be happy without you. You're the one who loved me for who I'm. I don't want to leave you for any reason. I... I don't know what should I say now" her words stammered."Just tell me yes or no!" He commanded lowering the distance between them. His hot breath fanned all over her face, she got shivers in his close proximity and raised her face to meet his eyes which was filled with thousands of unreadable emotions. She never seen him like that before."I..." She started but his words cut her off, "before telling anything, keep this in your mind Harika. I'm not a very good person as you think. Not a kind hearted person like you, not very honest but I love you! I love you more than anything else in this world.I will love you forever even if you don't love me! I'm madly in love with you Harika!" He said looking into her black eyes making her eyes wet. "Do you love me?" He asked, "Yes! I love you too" she completely lost herself in his love. He leaned in a little closer, not leaving a small gap between them. Harika's heartbeat multiplied several times in his actions.The next thing that happened completely stunned her. He had slammed his lips on her soft pink one and that nearly knocked all wind from her lungs. Her eyes welled up with hot tears because she experienced this feeling for the first time in her life. She never imagined that her first kiss would be something very unexpected like this.He deepened the kiss making her hard to breathe. The kiss was very aggressive which clearly indicated his possession. Harika struggled for breath, so he released her lips. She breathed heavily.He had a victory smile on his face. She thought she is taking up the things very fast but at the same time she couldn't deny the fact that she loves him more.His eyes bored into hers making her shiver. Her yes made him more exhilarated.His hand slowly drifted to her hip. It settled there and pulled her closer. She inhaled sharply. She was against his warm chest as she could feel the beating of his heart against her chest. She hesitantly looked up at him. His eyes were filled with some unknown feelings and desire which she never experienced in the past. She tried hard to figure out those expressions.They were in that position for sometime. "Harish! It's getting dark!" Harika broke the silence. "Hmm! Let me drop you in your hostel" he said and both reached his car. The journey was completely silent.Harika gazed the outside sceneries through the window when he concentrated on his driving. They reached her hostel in next half an hour.She got down from the car. She couldn't meet his face. "Bye!" She muttered not looking at his face. He held her arm before she closes the car door and pulled her inside making her gasp. "What are you doing?" Her voice shivered and she didn't gazed at his face."Are you regretting for what happened between us?" He asked raising her chin making her look into his eyes. "No.. no nothing like that Harish! I never thought everything would happen so suddenly. So I was bit shocked! That's it" She replied what she really felt.He held her face in his palm, leaned in a little closer like their foreheads touching. "Don't think much! Just keep this one thing in your mind! We both belongs to eachother" he said kissing her forehead making her smile.She bid him good night and entered into her hostel with a smile.She reached her room but still she couldn't believe whatever happened that day. Varsha noticed her face. "Hey! What's this in your face?" She asked pointing her cheeks."What?" Harika checked her face with annoyance. "This pink colour in your cheeks! But it looks very cute" she said making her blush more."Shut up Varsha!' she muttered and entered into the wash room to get freshen up. She gazed her face in the mirror and realised what Varsha said was true. Her face turned pink, her face glowed more when she gazed her lips.She clearly understood that kiss was out of possession but at the same time it was her first kiss. That time she was shocked by his action but now those thoughts brought a bright smile on her face."That kiss was not as same as the movie stars, but one steeped in a passion that ignites. It is the promise of realness, of the primal desire that lives in us" she thought and that thought brought a strange satisfaction in her heart.She changed into her night wear and rested on her bed. Her mobile buzzed and she found it was a message from him. She opened it with a smile, "Good night! Sleep well" He texted, she smiled and replied, "You too".But sleep was very far. His thoughts never let her sleep that night. She twisted in her bed restlessly not having any idea to sleep.She tried for a long time but in vain. Finally she gave up the thought to sleep and called her mom."Hey Harika! Are you ok? Didn't you sleep yet?" She asked with concern. "Yes mom! I'm ok! I couldn't sleep, so I thought to talk with you" she replied."Ahaan! Why couldn't you sleep? Anything is bothering you?" She asked. "Mom! I wanna tell you something" she said with hesitation."Don't hesitate to talk with your mom dear! Tell me what is bothering you?" She asked with care."Mom! I think..I'm in love" she said and that brought a smile on her face."It's Harish right?" She asked making her gasp, "Yes mom! And today he proposed me suddenly. I accepted his proposal" she muttered."Nothing wrong dear! I know that you like him and I too guessed it. He seems very good. Don't worry about anything else" she advised wholeheartedly making her more happy."Thank you mom! But I'm confused mom! I feel like everything is happening very fast. I thought I shouldn't rush in this matter but everything happened very surprisingly" she said what she felt."It's not a business or project Harika, you couldn't predict or plan your life. Life is a precious moment and its full of miracles. You should enjoy anything you come across in your life! and at the same time it's not pleasant always, you should learn to overcome the hurdles always.I will say you only one thing. Never depend on anyone. Never make someone's happiness as yours. Be yourself and keep yourself happy. You can keep others happiness as your priority but it shouldn't affect your inner peace.You're in the right path dear! Go ahead! She advised whatever she learnt from her own life. She was the one who overcame several heartbreaks and betrayals in her life but she never gave up the hope of living at any point.She wished her daughter should also have that braveness in her heart and that was the main reason she never pampered her from her childhood. She has grown up independently without any support.Harika nodded with a brave smile and she felt her mind was cleared after talking with her mom."Ok darling girl! It's getting late, now go and sleep well. Let's discuss tomorrow" she said. Harika agreed and went to bed happily. From her mom's words she realised that love is an important part of life but it's not the whole life. But at the same time being in love for first time in life is a heavenly feeling or a magical trance that makes everything in life better, brighter and more beautiful. The feeling is always exciting, overwhelming and equally surreal for all.She couldn't express her current state of mind. She had mixed emotions about this phase of her life but her mom's words had a strong impact on her heart despite her other feelings. She closed her eyes to get some good sleep after a long time.When you fall in love for the first time, that person becomes the center of your world. There is nothing that excites you in life than the quality time spent with the person you love. Everything you do together makes sense and time seems to pass by in split seconds.
