That was a beautiful dawn he ever seen in his life. Nature was at its best. The brightest beams of the sun gave a magnificent shading to the mists and knolls, mountains and valleys. The sun light broadened it's rays and brighten the world.The sweet scent of forest flowers, bespeckling the ground in bells of white and sprigs of lavender filled his nostrils. He inhaled the fresh fragrance and woke up with a new hope in him. He got freshened up and prepared tea for both of them. Harika too waked up and came outside with a smile. "You slept well?" He asked handing over her cup of tea. "Yeah!" She replied with a smile. They both had their tea in silence."Tea is very nice and frankly speaking this is the best tea I ever had" Harika said enjoying the taste of the tea he prepared. He felt a strange happiness inside him hearing her words, he smiled as a response.They both finished their tea and Harish said he will drop her in the village. "Harish! We stayed a little far from the village" Harika replied. "Ok then you direct me! Let's go for the place where you people stayed" Harish agreed. Harika nodded and they both started walking."How long you are going to stay in this forest?" Harika asked, "Not sure! I think one or two days" he replied casually. Then they both talked about few random stuffs while they were walking to their destination."Hey finally we reached the place!" Harika exclaimed. "Please come with me let me introduce you to my friend" Harika requested and he agreed since he doesn't have any intention to disappoint her.They both reached the place where her team stayed but Harika was shocked when she found the place empty. Harish was confused too. "Where is your team Harika?" He asked in confused tone, "I was also wondering the same" she replied.They didn't find anyone there and Harika remembered something. "Harish! Yesterday our deen informed we are going to vacate the place. I think they left" she uttered sadly."Okay! Don't worry! I'll drop you in your hostel" he assured with a smile. She nodded. He took her to his guest house where he left his vehicle. "Harika! Let's have breakfast before we leave. I think we will reach your hostel by end of the day" he said with concern. Harika accepted. His maids served her breakfast."Ramu! I'm leaving today. So don't prepare lunch" he informed his cook. "But sir! The road was blocked. How will you travel through that way?" He asked with hesitation."What? The road was blocked?" Harika asked with wide eyes. "Yes Madam! Yesterday night there was a landslide. So every roads from this village is blocked" he replied what he knew. Harika rolled her eyes."Chill! Let's do something. First charge your mobile and try to contact your friends" Harish consoled her. She nodded and put her mobile on charger. Harish called his friends to check whether there is any alternative way."Hello Harika! Where are you? Are you fine?" Varsha asked with great concern. "Yeah Varsha I'm fine. Actually I lost my way and Harish saved me" Harika replied."Harish? Okay whatever, stay safe!" Varsha said, "yeah! I'll explain you everything but tell me have you reached the hostel safely? I heard that there is a landslide in the way you travelled" Harika asked worriedly, "we reached safe Harika. Nothing happened while our return but I too heard that there is a landslide and the roads were blocked. How will you manage to return back?" Varsha asked, "I don't know but I will try my best" Harika replied."Ok Harika! Stay safe and let me know if you need any help. Should I inform this with our management? Actually they were worried. We left the place in hurry so failed to notice you. I should have checked you before leaving but I thought you was inside the bus" she uttered sadly."It's ok Varsha! Something is fishy. I'll find out what happened there exactly once I reach our hostel. Now you please inform the management that I'm fine and staying with a friend. I'll reach there soon" Harika replied, Varsha nodded and ended the conversation."Harika! Just now I spoke with my friends but as of now we can't vacate this place since the situation was not good. We can travel only if they rebuild the roads. I think it will take few days to do that" he said. Harika blankly stared not knowing what to do further."Again it's your choice Harika. You can stay here until the work is finished" he said. She thought for sometime and she realised she don't have any other options left. So she accepted and nodded her head in acceptance.He smiled and informed the maids that Harika will also be staying there and asked ond lady maid to direct her to the room in upstairs. She nodded and took Harika to the room. Harika felt sad and called her mom to explain the situation. She detailed everything happened from the last night. "Harika! I think the girl lied to you. She tricked you into the forest" her mom replied like reading her mind."Yes mom! I too had the same thought. Now I couldn't leave this place, so I have to wait until I reach my college" she replied."Ok Harika. Wherever you are, just be safe. That's all I need" she said with concern. "Ok mom! I'll take care" Harika replied and ended the conversation. She never imagined a scenario like this even in her dreams as she would stay with a stranger in the same house. "Why I met Harish? Why I accepted to go with him? Is this all just coincidence?" She thought but she don't have any answers.She washed off those thoughts and decided to take a tour on the garden in the backyard. She always loves to admire the green environment and flowers. She walked in the garden enjoying the sweet scent of forest flowers, bespeckling the ground in bells of white and sprigs of lavender. Rustling sounds of small animals scurrying under the thick ferns made her mood light."Harika!" She heard his voice and turned to reach out his beautiful face. "Are you feeling comfortable here?" He asked and she nodded with a smile."I'm planning to go for a walk, do you want to join me?" He asked and she accepted immediately without any hesitation as she felt so bored."Ok! Give me five minutes I'll freshen up and join you" he said and entered into his room. Harika felt like she is accepting everything so easily but sadly she doesn't have any other option. She felt coincidence playing it's major role in her life.They both went for a walk near their guest house. "I'm sorry Harish! I think I have spoiled your plan" she apologized."Hey nothing like that Harika! I too don't have any other plans. As I already said, I just came here to take a break from my routine life and to enjoy this nature. Today the weather is not good, so I avoided trekking. Also there is a landslide so I decided not to risk, that's why I stayed in home. So don't think that you spoiled my plans. Actually you made my day intresting, or else I would have stayed in home alone not knowing what to do further" he said that with a grin. Harika felt relieved once after hearing that from him. "The environment is very pleasant here!" Harika said experiencing the nature's beauty. "Yeah that's true. Tomorrow let me take you to the nearby falls. I'm sure you will love that place" he said with assurance. Harika nodded feeling so happy as she always loved to visit waterfalls.They both chitchatted for some time and returned the home in the evening. "Sir! Just now I got a call from my home. My mom is not well so we need to go to our village. Please permit us to go" the cook requested him. "Yeah you can go! But is there any alternative person to take care of these household works?" He asked."This happened so unexpectedly sir, so as of now we didn't arrange any other person" he replied. "Ok! I'll take care. You can leave with your wife. Take care of your mother" he sent them offering some money. They both left thanking him. "I wish his mom should get well soon" Harika said from her heart. "Yeah! She will be" Harish smiled. Harika nodded and headed to her room. They both had their dinner together and she wished him good night before she went to bed.First time in her life, she felt something strange in her heart. She couldn't come for the conclusion about her feelings but that was completely new to her. She never had any men in her life, not even a friend. But she got several proposals in her college times which she rejected without any restrictions.
