“So you’re saying you’re waiting for the people from Glorious Group to try to assassinate you, which is also going to be our chance. We can use that as an excuse to either get rid of Glorious Group or seize the company for ourselves.” Sylvia deduced.

“When that happens, Tigra will have no choice but to accept the loss helplessly!”

Though this strategy meant putting Caspian in danger, it was also the best opportunity for them.

“I see,” Caspian remarked casually. “Maybe it’s just a kind–hearted Diatorian who couldn’t stand seeing Glorious Group’s attempt to monopolize the market, so he invested in the company. Don’t worry. Maybe we’ll end up buying up Glorious Group, too!”

Macy was a strange person. Others would long for peace, but she yearned for chaos. That way, she could revel in the fun of hunting the bad guys down.

“Caspian, why don’t you take me sightseeing around Southlake City? We have nothing else to do anyway. Is your leg alright?” Macy asked.

“I’d rather not. Go ask someone else,” Caspian coolly rejected..

“What? You’re letting me, a young woman, walk around alone in an unfamiliar place? What if the bad guys catch me?” Macy whined.

Caspian was speechless. Who would dare to abduct Macy? Only those with a death wish would do a thing like that.

It seemed unlikely that anyone in Southlake City could take down Macy so easily

Judging by her performance in the fight yesterday, even several dozen burly men would not be able to overpower her!

Macy jumped for joy and dragged Caspian out of the hospital.

The car was cruising down a remote alley when they saw a middle–aged woman kneeling on the ground and crying her heart out.

“Stop the car and see what’s happening,” Caspian said.

“Yes, Caspian,” Macy answered as she pulled up by the side of the alley.

After getting out of the car, Macy approached the middle–aged woman and asked, “Excuse me. Do you need any help?”
