Lord Chapter 209
The Almighty Lord Caspian
Chapter 209 Arrogant Brat
Not even the firstâinâcommand of Southlake City would dare to offend the Diatoranian God of Warâs teacher.
Although he didnât know who the God of War was, he instinctively realized that such a man wasnât someone he could offend.
He decided to greet Stephanie by the door on the day she returned to work
âI understand. Iâll give you a call when the day comes,â answered Trevor.
Trevor had also decided to pay Stephanie a warm welcome once she returned.
He might not be able to keep his job for long otherwise.
Meanwhile, Avon was about to leave after finishing a meal with the Wildmans.
Stephanie was accompanying him on the way down.
Suddenly, her phone started ringing.
âHello? Whoâs this?â asked Stephanie.
Trevor greeted her and explained, âHello, Ms. Wildman. Iâm Trevor Winston, the general of the education ministry. Iâm calling to inform you that you may resume your job as a teacher two days from today.â
He wouldnât delay the Diatoranian God of Warâs teacher any longer.
Stephanie was shocked. âReally? Youâre not making this up, are you?â
âOf c
âOf course not, Ms. Wildman. We relaunched an investigation into the incident and found that the student who attempted suicide had nothing to do with you. Youâll soon receive a
notification of your reinstatement as a teacher.â
She was elated to receive the great news. âThatâs great! Thank you, Director Trevor!â
She had already forfeited all hope of ever returning to her career as a teacher.
âYouâre welcome, Ms. Wildman. It was an error on our part to fire an excellent teacher like you. I hope you accept my sincerest apologies for the misunderstanding.â
She was taken aback by the fact that the director himself was apologizing to her.
âThank you, really. Iâm really happy that I can go back to teaching.â
âIâm truly sorry about that. Weâll be hosting a welcoming party for you when you return to

âOkay! Thank you, Director! Thatâs all for now, then!â
Stephanie thanked Trevor for the great news and hung up.
Avon had been listening in on the conversation at the side.
He wasnât surprised at all by the fact that she was able to get her job back.
Stephanie happily exclaimed, âDr. Long, Iâm going back to my job as a teacher! Letâs get Caspian to join us for dinner tonight to celebrate! Itâs my treat!â
âSure.â
Avon nodded his head and then left in his car.
Stephanie then made a call to Caspian and invited him to have dinner together.
Caspian didnât accept her invitation directly as he was busy investigating Willowâs biological mother.
Later on at seven in the evening, Elias had reserved a table at a hotel as he wanted to thank Caspian in person.
He wouldnât have made it out of the bed and onto a full recovery if not for Caspianâs help.
Avon arrived at the hotel with the Wildmansâ invitation as they also wanted to thank him for his help.
While they were waiting for Caspian to arrive, Stephanie saw that Jeremy had walked into the hotel with his underlings following behind him.
She became furious as she didnât expect to run into him while they were having dinner.
Avon quickly noticed her sour mood and asked, âWhatâs wrong, Ms. Wildman?â
Stephanie tried to play it cool. âOh, itâs nothing.â
Meanwhile, Jeremy had also spotted Stephanie and walked toward their table with a sly grin. â Hello, Ms. Wildman! What a coincidence!â
Both Eliasâ and Veronicaâs expressions sank the moment they saw the scumbag.
Stephanie angrily replied, âWhat do you want, Jeremy? Please stay away from us.
Although Avon had never met Jeremy, he had already heard plenty about him when he was briefed about Lana.
With a smile, Jeremy walked up to their table. âWhy so angry, Ms. Wildman? I wanna talk to
âI donât want to talk to you!â

âAre you still worried about having lost your job as a teacher? Well, my offer still stands, you know? So long as you agree to be my woman, I can always reinstate you back to your job.â
He had long been coveting Stephanieâs beautiful face and figure.
Elias was furious. âF*** off! Sheâs your teacher, for fuckâs sake! Did your parents never teach you any manners?â
âAre you insulting my parents? Donât you know who they are?â asked Jeremy.
âWho the fuck cares? Iâve been wanting to teach punks like you a lesson!â
Elias readied his fists, about to beat up Jeremy.
He didnât know who Jeremyâs father was, nor did he care. All he knew was that his daughter was being disrespected.
Stephanie immediately stood up to resolve the situation. âCalm down, Dad!â
She didnât want to directly injure Jeremy and offend his parents.
Jeremy, however, tried to incite the fight further. âWhy donât you hit me, old fart? Iâll be the judge to see if you can still hurt me with your old bones!â
âYou brat, Iâll f**king kill you!â
âHaha! I never knew there were people in Southlake City whoâd dare to hurt me!â boasted Jeremy.
Jeremy then smiled at Stephanie and said, âMs. Wildman, you can have anything you want if you become my woman, you know?â
âShut your mouth! I donât need anything from you! Director Trevor of the education ministry. has already reinstated me as a teacher.â
âSure, I believe you. As if Trevor would dare to do so without my dadâs approval.â
Veronica finally spoke up, âThatâs your own problem. My daughter will be going back to school as a teacher in two days!â
âStop bothering me, Jeremy. I already have a partner,â explained Stephanie as she leaned
closer to Avon.
Avon quickly understood her words and stood up.
He then exclaimed, âThatâs right. Iâm Stephanieâs boyfriend.â
Avonâs cooperation also took Stephanie by surprise.

But it was a muchâneeded help to drive Jeremy away.
Jeremy angrily explained, âYouâd be wise to break up with him right now, Stephanie. Or he might not live to see another day.â
âIâve seen my fair share of arrogant brats. But Iâd say youâre the most unlucky one,â said Avon.
He could never get used to handling these arrogant and entitled young men..
Jeremy shouted, âIt would seem that youâre even more arrogant than me. Donât you know that the entire Southlake City is my playground? Try me, and youâll be crawling out of the city since your legs will be broken.â
Avon lifted his hand and slapped Jeremy square in the face.
He wasnât afraid of anything with Caspian at his back.
