Caspian looked unassuming despite his youth.

Although not clad in luxurious clothes, he exuded a commanding presence!

“Why has the head of the Landor family sought me out?” Caspian asked Georgie.

“Mr. Lynch, we, the Landor family, seek your aid!” Georgie respectfully requested.

Caspian maintained his silence, his eyes showing no hint of emotion.

“Mr. Lynch, the true intention behind Galecrest’s martial arts competition is to recruit adept martial experts. Their ultimate goal is to eliminate the Eight Noble Lineages and target Easton. Galecrest has evil motives!” Georgie hastily explained.

Upon hearing this, Caspian swiftly understood.

There was no room for two dominant forces.

The strength of the Eight Noble Lineages should not be underestimated. For Galecrest to establish supremacy in Naporia, they had to remove all opposing forces.

Georgie’s visit to him now made perfect sense.

“I fail to see why I should help you. What do I gain from this?” Caspian smiled.

At his words, Georgie paused, seemingly anticipating Caspian’s response.

“Mr. Lynch, Galecrest is our common foe. We should unite against them. Once Galecrest gains strength, its next move will be to eliminate all its enemies, including the Eight Noble. Lineages, the Celestial Sanctum, and, of course, you,” Georgie calmly explained.

His words made sense.

However, Caspian didn’t see Galecrest as a threat.

“Are you representing only the Landor family or all eight prestigious families?” Caspian asked.

“I… I’ve been secretly chosen as a representative by the other seven families. But we’ve reached an agreement and hope you can help us.” Georgie hesitated.

In such circumstances, no family would willingly seek external aid. If Galecrest found out, the repercussions would be severe.

Hence, the Landor family was tasked to negotiate with Caspian.

Despite being nominally ranked fourth, their actual strength lay at the bottom.

Caspian roughly understood Georgie’s intent. He was merely a scapegoat.

“That’s settled then. You can leave and wait for further instructions,” Caspian said calmly.

Afterward, Melvin and Georgie left the room.

As their footsteps faded, Sylvia asked,

Cole’s actions were supporting other forces in Easton. Wasn’t this breaking their previous agreement?
