Chapter 299 A Madman Who Has Lost His Mind

Caspian’s eyes were alight with rage. His voice held so much power that other people shivered when he spoke.

He made his way toward Billy. Water splashed with every step he took.

The special forces soldiers looked at him respectfully as he walked past.

“Honey!”

Tears streamed down Willow’s face as Caspian appeared. All the fear in her heart was gone as she called out loud.

Caspian looked in her direction, and his murderous intent rose.

His precious wife, pampered and loved by him, was tied to a chair. Also, he could clearly see a wound on Willow’s arm, and her clothes were stained with blood.

It didn’t look that severe only because the rain had washed all the blood off.

“Sorry for being late, Willow. My carelessness is the reason you had to suffer.”

Caspian felt unbearably guilty. Willow wouldn’t have been kidnapped had he not dozed off on

the bench.

Willow, who had not gone through any suffering before, ended up being hurt like this.

Caspian had promised never to make Willow feel upset. If he could not even protect the woman he loved, what was the point of being the Lord of Diadem Hall?

“You bastard! How dare you hurt Willow?” Caspian glared at Billy coldly.

Kristian’s heart was filled with terror. He stumbled and knelt on the floor.

“Caspian, listen to me. I’m not involved in this at all. Everything was Billy’s idea. He’s behind everything!” Kristian said to Caspian in trepidation.

Caspian was still glaring at Billy, his eyes alight with rage.

Billy shuddered. Caspian’s glare was way too terrifying.

“Was it you? The one who cut a wound on her arm,” Caspian asked coldly.

Billy swallowed. He noticed that all the b*dyguards and fighters had surrendered, and now he

was at a loss for what to do.

The atmosphere became more charged.

“Hahaha! It was me, so what? I cut her with a knife! You killed my father, so I want to avenge

at Caspian, his gaze full of anger.

He no longer was able to tamp down the rage burning in his heart.

Caspian chuckled indifferently. Billy did not know his place.

“You hurt my wife, so both of you will have to pay the price!” Caspian bellowed.

A hundred guns were pointed at Kristian and Billy.

“Please give me another chance! I’m really not involved in this at all. Everything was Billy’s idea! He coerced me! If you’re mad, go after him! Don’t kill me, please, don’t kill me!” Kristian begged as he prostrated on the ground.

“You’re useless! Look at you! Are you behaving like the eldest son of the Jennings family?” Billy yelled at him in disdain and rage.

He had not expected Kristian to be so spineless.

“Why are you so spineless, Kristian? You’re so cowardly that you’re begging your enemy for mercy! Do you think Caspian will let you go if you beg so pathetically? You’re way too naive!” Billy pointed at Kristian and said in fury.

Kristian’s current state angered Billy greatly.

“Shut the hell up, you bastard! Would I be in this state if not for you? Everything was because of you! You coerced and swindled me so that I could help you antagonize Caspian. You want to make y life hell! We’re cousins! Are you really that shameless?” Kristian bellowed.

Kristian suddenly realized that Billy had sabotaged him, so he promptly shed all pretenses of cordiality.

“That’s because you’re as dumb as a rock! I just needed to play a small trick and you fell for it -hook, line, and sinker!” Billy sneered cruelly.

Billy had never thought of Kristian as someone capable. From his perspective, Kristian was merely a young master with no intellect to speak of. He could easily swindle Kristian just with some basic tricks.

It turned out he was not wrong, and Kristian had ended up being easy to manipulate.

“You…” Kristian was so furious his hands were trembling.

He finally realized that Billy’s respect for him was a pretense. Unfortunately, the realization

had come too late.

“I don’t have the time to listen to your inane words. I can give you one more chance, Kristian. Set Willow free now, and I’ll no longer hold a grudge against you!” Caspian said expressionlessly.

“Sure, sure! I’ll let her go now!” Kristian was overjoyed. He stood up immediately and got ready to untie Willow.

Billy got anxious when he saw Kristian stand up, and he roared angrily, “Stop!”

He then dashed to where Kristian was immediately. He lodged the blade of his knife on Kristian’s n*eck.

The blade shone frigidly under the rain.

“If you dare let her go, Kristian, you’d better believe I’ll kill you right now! Don’t hold it against me for not showing you mercy!” Billy glared at Kristian angrily. He had totally gone mad.

Kristian swallowed. He was rooted on the spot out of shock.

Billy had already lost his mind. No one knew if he would really do it.

“Billy, I’ve been nothing but gracious to you since you came to the Jennings family. And yet this is how you treat me?” Kristian said exasperatedly.

He should not have taken in Billy after the collapse of his family. Billy had gone mad long ago.

“Hahaha! I’ve thought of you as an eyesore long ago. You’re nothing but a feeble coward, and yet you put up the pretense of being powerful in front of me. Someone like you doesn’t even deserve to polish my shoes!” Billy screamed maniacally.

He vented all the resentment that had been festering in his heart.

He had been the young lord of Mahayan Pavilion, capable of commanding respect and deference anywhere he went.

After the collapse of Mahayan Pavilion, Billy’s life was no longer glamorous.

The Jennings family in Sealand was trash and would be totally insignificant in Easton. Kristian, who previously had to defer to him, now had the nerve to order him around. If not because he had to use the power of the Jennings family, he would’ve left this place long ago.

“You… You…” Kristian was so furious he could not even string a sentence together.

At the thought of how Billy had been deceiving him from the beginning, the fury in his heart multiplied.

“You’re unscrupulous, Billy!” Kristian cursed loudly.

“Say one more word and I’ll kill you!” Billy gripped the knife tightly and pushed it harder onto Kristian’s n*eck.

Sensing danger, Kristian tensed up and quickly shut his mouth.
