Lord Chapter 569
The Almighty Lord Caspian
Chapter 569 The Hudsons Welcome the Enemy Troops
A heated battle erupted between the Diatoranian troops and the enemy troops in Southlake City.
The enemy troops were prepared and armed to the teeth. The Diatoranian troops. were having a difficult time countering them.
Southlake City was now filled with enemy troops from Astronia and Vadesia.
The Hudson and Archer families were both in the southern part of Southlake City when they heard the news that the Vadesian troops were heading over.
Both Grant and Lawrence came over to welcome them. Both families had been in contact with Kenzie, which the Vadesian authorities already knew. That was why they didnât give either family any trouble.
Both Robert Valez, the general of Vadesia, as well as Viktor Obrien, the general of Astronia, had arrived in Southlake City.
Robert, who had just arrived at Southlake City, had no place to stay in, so he decided to stay in the Hudson villa temporarily.
The Hudsons were, of course, extremely happy to hear that. They were extremely honored, and they welcomed Robertâs presence eagerly.
Robert entered the Hudson villa under the protection of his troops..
The Hudsons had not dared to dream about the presence of such a war hero in their home. It was very rare that they could meet such an important figure.
They prepared a banquet for Robert.
âYouâre quite nice. Vadesia will remember what you did for me,â Robert said in broken Diatoranian.
âYouâre the renowned Champion of Vadesia. Itâs our honor to host you!â Grant said with a hearty laugh.
All of a sudden, Alicia was screaming again. âLet me go! Let me go!â
She had taken a break out of exhaustion. Upon hearing the noises outside, she started screaming again.
âWhoâs that? I hear the voice of a pretty lady.â Robert heard Aliciaâs voice as well.
âSheâs my granddaughter-in-law, Mr. Valez,â Grant said.
âYouâre family, arenât you? Why did you lock her up in a room?â Robert asked.

âEveryone in our family agreed to defect to Vadesia except for her, so we could only lock her up for now,â Grant said candidly.
âReally? How ungrateful, isnât she? Who is she? Why would she refuse to seek refuge in Vadesia?â Robert asked.
âSheâs Alicia Stewart, the second daughter of the Stewarts. Weâve racked our brains on how to deal with her-sheâs so stubborn,â Grant explained hurriedly.
âWho wouldâve known she would have such a flawed personality despite being one of the Stewart daughters? I wouldnât have married her if I had known this would happen.
âIâm regretting it so much now. Iâll divorce her in a couple of days!â Richard quickly explained that he and Alicia werenât that close.
Henry was annoyed to hear that. What did the Hudsons mean by that? They were pushing the blame onto the Stewart family.
âThe second daughter of the Stewart family? Sheâs from the same family as Caspianâs wife, Willow, isnât she?â Robert asked.
âYes! Sheâs Willowâs cousin,â Richard said.
âThey all say that Caspianâs wife is a beautiful woman. Her cousin would probably be comparable to her, wouldnât she?â Robert asked, harboring
nefarious thoughts.
âGeneral Robert, itâs true that Willow is gorgeous, but Alicia canât hold a flame to her at all,â Grant said.
âReally? Bring her here, and let me look at her.â Robert was tipsy now after a few drinks.
âSheâs not beautiful at all, General Valez. Itâll be a pity if she ruins your mood,â Richard added quickly.
âWhat? Are you going against my orders? Drag her out of that room now! I want to take a look at her!â Robert snapped, displeased.
The Hudsons shared bemused looks. They couldnât figure out why Robert insisted on seeing Alicia.
âWhy are you still standing there? Bring Alicia here now!â Grant quickly ordered his servants to bring Alicia over for fear they would offend Robert.
The staff carried the task out. Alicia was dragged to the hall, where she saw a group of burly, drunk Vadesian soldiers.

Alicia saw a man with a big beard sitting at the head of the table. He was clad in camo from head to toe and had five stars on his shoulder, signifying his position. That surprised Alicia. It was obvious that he was quite a powerful figure.
She suddenly had a realization. The enemy troops had entered Southlake City.
âWhy did you invite someone from Vadesia into our home?â Alicia asked angrily.
âShut up! General Valez is our esteemed guest!â Grant barked.
âVadesia is our enemy! You dare commit treason?â Alicia roared.
She had been locked up in her room, so she had no idea what had happened.
âWhat are you blathering on about? We abandoned the losing side and joined the winning side! Lock her up inside the room so that she stops running her mouth!â Grant said furiously.
Just as the staff were about to do so, Robert reached out and said, âWait.â
The Hudsons were all stunned.
Robert looked Alicia up and down lecherously, saying, âYou exaggerated just now. Aliciaâs looks are exquisite, too.â
âThatâs considered exquisite?â Richard was speechless.
Robert had no idea what a beautiful woman looked like, it seemed. Alicia was surely not one of them. Robert would probably lose his mind if he were to see Willow.
âI think sheâs pretty!â Robert said meaningfully.
âIf you think sheâs pretty, then she is,â Richard agreed.
âWhy would you want to divorce such a pretty lady, Richard?â Robert asked.
âOur stances on this matter are different. Of course I should divorce her. We support Vadesia, while she supports Diatoran. We donât walk on the same path!â Richard said.
Alicia didnât expect Richard to say something like this at all.
Robertâs next words shocked everyone.
âIf you donât like her, Richard, give her to me. Itâs about time to quench my thirst, anyway,â Robert said with a smile.
The Hudsons were stunned, as was Alicia. She didnât expect this foreigner to have these thoughts about her!

âDo you really want a woman as ordinary as her, sir?â Richard asked in surprise.
âShe doesnât really have an exceptional figure or a beautiful face, but she has a unique identity-sheâs Caspian Lynchâs cousin-in-law! I want to have some fun with her!â Robert said.
âWhy would you want to do that, sir?â Richard asked in confusion.
âIf I can humiliate Alicia, itâs the same as slapping Caspian on the face. Despite being the Diatoranian God of War, his cousin-in-law would end up being ruined by me anyway. That would bring him shame, too!â Robert guffawed loudly.
Humiliating Alicia was equivalent to provoking Caspian-that was what Robert thought. The fantasy of making Caspianâs cousin-in-law moan under him alone was enough to excite him.
