Lord Chapter 76
The Almighty Lord Caspian
Chapter 76 True Colors
âWhen everything is settled in Southlake City, we will reveal your identity and clear your name,â Caspian said to Sylvia.
âCaspian, itâs late. Letâs leave.â Sylvia nodded and reminded Caspian after looking outside.
âSure.â Caspian looked at his watch and realized it was already 10 pm.
Later, Sylvia helped Caspian tidy up Lilithâs belongings and put the items into the SUV. As they were leaving, they realized a Rolls Royce driving past the gates of the residence and into the woods nearby.
âCaspian, that car looks familiar. Isnât it Willowâs Rolls Royce Phantom?â Sylvia asked after she thought the car looked familiar. It was not her first time seeing the car, so she
remembered it.
âThatâs right.â Caspian also realized the Rolls Royce which belonged to Willow.
âItâs already ten. Why is Willow here?â Sylvia asked.
âAre you asking me? How would I know?â Caspian was confused as well. He wondered if Willow was having an affair when he was not at home. Sylvia thought the same, but she dared not voice out her suspicions.
âShould we go take a look?â Sylvia asked.
âWait here. Iâll go and see what sheâs trying to do,â Caspian said indifferently.
âFine. Iâll wait for you here.â Sylvia wanted to know what Willow was planning to do.
Caspian approached the woods to see what was going on.
Willow did not know where Lilithâs house was. She also did not know that the place where she was going to meet the assassin was near Lilithâs house. She drove into the woods according to the address given to her by the assassin. However, she realized the place was empty. It did not look like a car had been here as well.
It was past ten pm. The moonlight was covered by the foliage, and there was mist around the area. It was foggy in the woods which gave the whole place a terrifying atmosphere. It felt like someone would come out rushing through the fog.
It was Willowâs first time coming to such a place alone. She felt a chill run down her spine and felt unsafe. She did not understand why the assassin would choose such a deserted place to meet her. She also wondered if all assassins were weird.
âHello! Is anyone there?â Willow shouted. âBlood Shadow, are you there?â
Blood Shadow was the assassinâs nickname. Calling out that nickname at this place would
The York family already knew that Caspian was just an ordinary soldier. However, they obtained news that Caspian and Sylvia went to Quentinâs turf last night and killed many people. Since the Flying Dragons did not seem to react to that, the York family also dared not do anything recklessly.
At the same time, the York family also feared Sylviaâs position as a general officer. When they noticed Sylvia was being very respectful toward Caspian, they were even more cautious about taking action.
They even wanted to wait for the Flying Dragons to make the first move. After all, the York family was not in a rush since there were still a few days to prepare. However, the Flying Dragons had Victor as their strategist, so they would not act directly.
Both factions had the same idea. No one wanted to make the first move.
Willow made dinner and ate with Zoey. After dinner, Zoey kept doing her own thing. Willow sat restlessly on the sofa alone.
At 9:30 pm, Willow said to Zoey, âZoey, I need to go out.â
âWhat? Itâs so late. Do you need to go out?â Zoey asked in confusion.
âItâs none of your business. Iâll come back later,â said Willow.
âWhy donât I go with you?â Zoey was worried. It was unsafe for Willow to go out alone.
âItâs fine. Donât worry. Just do your work,â said Willow.
âSure. Come back soon. Be careful on the way,â said Zoey.
Willow put the briefcase full of cash into her car and drove the Rolls Royce to the outskirts of Southlake City to meet the assassin.
Meanwhile, in Lilithâs house, Sylvia spoke.
âLord Caspian, I got the news that the corps outside of Southlake City are prepared to move.â
âIâve told you many times not to address me as Lord Caspian. Remember. Ask them not to act recklessly and be on standby,â Caspian said.

Willow finally met Blood Shadow. However, his outfit was scary and made Willow even more terrified
Blood Shadow saw how S*xy Willow was. His eyes were filled with excitement.
âWhereâs the money Blood Shadow asked.
âItâs in the car. Can you cally help me get rid of the eldest grandson of the York family, Derek York, and the leader of the Flying Dragons, Quentin Lane?â Willow asked.
â1. Blood Shadow, always kill without being seen. Iâve done many jobs and have never failed my mission. The Yorâs family and the Flying Dragons are nothing to be afraid of. With enough money, I can even get rid of all of them tonight!â Blood Shadow said confidently.
âFine. Iâll bring the money now.â Willow opened the car door and brought out the briefcase.
âThe 300 thousand dollars are all here in cash. You can check it,â Willow said after han

Blood Shadow took the briefcase and opened it since it was not locked. He grinned when he saw all the cash inside.
He took out a stack of bills and looked at it in detail. Then, he kept the briefcase and said, âNo problem. News of Derek and Quentinâs death will be all over Southlake City tomorrow.â
âWhat if you fail?â Willow asked worriedly.
âFail? Are you doubting me?â Blood Shadow was annoyed.
âNo⦠Iâm not doubting you. I just want to tell you that even if you fail, I donât want you to tell everyone that Iâve hired you.â It was Willowâs first time hiring an assassin. She did not want to be found out if the assassin failed his assassination.
âDonât worry. Iâve never failed. Killing two people is an easy job! If I canât even deal with someone like Derek and Quentin, Iâm not fit to become an assassin,â Blood Shadow said arrogantly.

âThatâs a relief. Iâll be depending on you,â Willow said.
âHowever, Iâm not only doing this for money. I have other requests,â Blood Shadow sald while staring at Willow.
âWhat is it? Why didnât you tell me about it when we discussed this?â Willow could sense the assassinâs perverted gaze and felt something was wrong.
âSleep with me for one night. Iâll help you kill them all if Iâm satisfied.â Blood Shadow said after showing his true colors.
Willow was scared and quickly took a few steps back. She said in an annove think about it. I will never agree to this!â

That was when Willow realized she might have been scammed. Yesterday, Caspian reminded. her that there were many fake assassins. Professional assassins were rare. Willow wondered if Caspian guessed it correctly and if she had been scammed.
âWhether you agree or not is not for you to decide,â Blood Shadow approached Willow and said as his eyes scanned Willowâs b*dy.
Before Willow tried to get into her car and escape, Blood Shadow rushed in front of her and slammed the car door. Willowâs face was pale. It was almost impossible for her to escape now.
