Frontman's Love (Season 1 & 2)
I heard footsteps towards the door. I jumped up quickly and lay down in bed, covering myself with the covers, and closed my eyes. The door to the room opened and I heard Gong's small voice, "She's still sleeping," he said, and closed the door behind him, a moment later the main door to the apartment closed and I didn't hear any voice. I turned onto my back and took a deep breath in and out. I got out of bed and opened the door and poked my head out of the living room, there was no one in the living room, so I shouted, "There's someone here,, but no one answered me, so I was left alone.
"Okay, you can do it, Beverly," I said to myself and closed the bedroom door.
I went to the basement door and grabbed the handle. I pressed it and the door opened, it was terribly dark, I didn't want to turn on the light there because I might not hear when the men would come back and I might have problems with Joon-hyuk, who obviously doesn't like me. I had my own Gong, but it was his cousin who was higher than him and he was the one who had the power, not the Salesman. I took my phone and turned on the flashlight. I left the door open and went down the stairs. There were white shelves filled to the brim with cardboard boxes or segrators and tons of dust on them.
-Great, it will take me a few hours. If my grandmother came here and did a white glove test like she did at my place, In-ho would be fucked up â I said it to myself and started from the end.
Only packages with the dates of the games played. I searched in binders and even came across an In-ho photo when he was a participant or papers he had to sign to remain faithful as a Frontman.
-And what?- I asked myself and took out a golden folder with files of VIPs from all over the world. I looked through each world one by one until I came across the United States and I broke down terribly. The VIP in the country where I came from, where I was born, is none other than Justin Jonathan Scoot â My father. I dropped the album in disbelief that the person who raised me to be a good person and oppressed evil was a VIP in the game of life and death.
-Beverly, where are you?! -I heard the Salesman's voice and immediately tore out a card about my father or VIP and put the golden folder anywhere and ran out of the basement to the bedroom. I closed the door and hid the information note under my pillow. I turned off the flashlight on my phone and went out to the man with a fake smile.
-I'm here, what's up Gong?
-You had a great night's sleep. I thought, could we play a game?-he asked and I was glad that he didn't know what I was doing when he was gone.
-Sure, why not. And where are they?-I asked and went with my boyfriend to the back room, where there was a shelf with a few games on it.
-Maybe in a Hinch? Because I doubt if you would want to play strip poker with me," he replied and took out a board.
"Poker is only with In-ho," I said, blushing slightly, and we sat down on the floor and started playing. The man was in the lead and I was just continuing to think what my husband was doing.
-What happened? Do you seem to be absent?" he asked, worried.
"I'm just worried about In-ho," I confessed, and Gong hugged me.
-Everyone is worried, but he's a brave guy and he'll be able to handle worse situations, trust me. And the last pawn in the house! I won the blonde!
-You cheated!- I shouted in disbelief.
-You just can't play and that's it- he replied and we started to hide the game.
-Gong, can I ask you a question?
-Sure, ask what you want- he said and put the game on the shelf and put his hands on the blades.
-Would you cheat me and In-ho for power in this game? Just be honest.
"I would never betray you, Bev, I value you too much to do something like that," he confessed after my question. You can see that he wasn't lying, but I had to make sure.
-And if someone robbed you?
-I'd sooner kill myself than deceive you. Why this question Bev? Don't trust me?
-I trust, I'm just asking- I said and went to the bar- Do you want something to drink?
-No thanks, I'll go to bed. By tomorrow â he said and disappeared and I was even more confused than a few hours ago.
