Part 2: The First Bond— "Some things make you restless, and some relationships settle in the corner of the heart..."The next day.....Today was a little different, as if something new was about to happen. When Riya wore her uniform in the morning, her heart was beating a little more. Today also she wanted to see Dhirav, but she was a little nervous thinking, "Did he notice me?"Everything was the same as before. I was sitting with Sneha during the break when I heard Dhirav's name.Sneha - "Riya, by the way, the one sitting on the back bench, Dhirav, listen to his voice. He is so calm, isn't he?" Riya - (smiling and blushing) “Yes… absolutely.”When the break was over, the teacher called everyone to check their maths homework. Riya was a little nervous because Dhirav’s first impression was still hidden in her mind. Then the teacher asked a question on the maths chapter “Rational Numbers”.Teacher - “Dhirav, can you tell me the answer to this question?”Dhirav answered with his usual calmness -Dhirav - “Answer is 3/5 ma’am.” (calmly, looking up from his book)Riya’s eyes fell on him, and there was a different understanding in her eyes.  There was a moment when it seemed as if Dhirav could understand any problem easily, and Riya felt that she could learn something from him too.After the class, Sneha gave Riya a chance to talk, so Riya spoke her heart out,Riya - “Sneha, do you think... Dhirav is good?”Sneha - (laughing softly) “Arre, your heart is beating, isn't it?”Riya hid a smile on her face. Sneha gave a little loving push on her hand.  Sneha - “Yes, Dhirav is good, but this is the first step of friendship... everything will happen slowly.”Then a small thing happened, which awakened a new feeling in Riya’s heart.Dhirav, who was sitting behind, came near Riya’s table and said,Dhirav - “Riya, you did your homework, right?”Riya - (feeling a little shy) “Yes... did you?”Dhirav - (smiling slightly) “Yes, but your answer was a little different... don’t make such mistakes.”Riya - (embarrassed, but with a hint of joy) “Ohh... I will try.”There was a small smile in Dhirav's eyes. Who knows why, Riya was being treated with love with every step he took. Riya felt that these small things will one day create something deep between them.
