Haaris brought his car from parking...inaayat quickly sat in passenger's seat.

After inaayat settled Haaris drove to home.

The ride was calm & comfortable compared to the previous one.

Inaayat closed her eyes & rested her head on headrest.

Haaris watched her remove her heels & pulling her legs up.

He spoke " Thak gayi ho? "

Inaayat hmmed.

Haaris said " Sojao...ghar aane par utha dunga"

Inaayat shook her head in No & said " Nahi koi baat nahi "

Haaris nodded.

Inaayat's mind kept recalling Haaris's words.

" i don't think I should be having any issue with her age"

She turned to Haaris & asked " Kya tumhe sacch mein ajeeb nahi lagta ya sharm nahi aati ki mai tumse badi hoon?"

Haaris turned his head & looked at her.

He smiled & replied " Ajeeb kyun? Mujhe toh acha lagta hai ki meri biwi ka zindagi se tajurba zyada hai "

Inaayat furrowed her eyebrows & said " Yeh kahan se seekh kar aaye ho? "

Haaris's eyes widened... He asked " Tumhe kaise pata? "

Inaayat cutely boasted " Mujhe pata hai... Mai badi hoon "

(A/N she quoted our cute old lady's words unknowingly)

Haaris Chuckled & said " Oh my God ! Tumne yeh bilkul uss uncle ki wife ki tarah kaha... "

Inaayat asked " Kon?"

Haaris narrated her the entire incident.

Inaayat gasped hearing everything...Haaris was being rude because of her statement.

Haaris said " Lines kisi ke bhi hon... Ehsaas toh mere hai " He held her hand & intertwined with his.

He placed a kiss on back of her hand softly.

Inaayat could feel her heart racing & blush coating her cheeks.

She looked outside to calm down.

Inaayat was still in disbelief seeing Haaris being so sweet to her.

Was he serious when he said he would never leave her?

What if after sometime...he gets bored of her & decides to leave?

What if he realises that so many young & beautiful girls who want him & regrets his decision?

Haaris called her " Inaayat! Inaayat! "

Inaayat jumped in her place.

Haaris looked at her & asked " Kya sonch rahi ho? "

Inaayat gave him a smile that didn't reach her eyes & said " Kuch nahi bas aise hi "

Haaris hmmed & kept driving.

He sensed something was wrong.

He spoke " Inaayat...mujhe pata hai tum mujhepar trust nahi kar paa rahi ho "

Inaayat remained silent.

Haaris continued " Tum jitna time chahti ho...tum le sakti ho...mere pass poori zindagi hai wait karne ke liye "

Inaayat realized she was letting her insecurities

Speak louder than her feelings again.

She turned towards him & moved closer...She then bent forward & pecked his cheek softly.

Haaris had to draw patience from every fiber of his body to stop himself from pulling her to him & kiss her till his heart's content.

Haaris grinned like a baboon making inaayat chuckle.

Soon they reached home.

Inaayat got down & Haaris parked his car.

Haaris went inside while inaayat followed him.

Haaris turned to say " Inaayat Ammi ko message kar- "

He didn't find inaayat.

He went outside...he saw her adjusting Saree & walking like a tortoise.

He walked closer to her who gave him a sheepish smile.

He bent down & picked her up in bridal style making her squeal in surprise.

Inaayat spoke " Mai aajongi... Utaaro mujhe haaris" While clutching his shirt's collar.

Haaris replied " Aise chalogi toh subah aaogi kamre tak "

Inaayat could feel her cheeks turning red as Haaris kept staring at her as he walked inside.

Ahmed & Sanam were back from their honeymoon... Since both the set of parents were out of town... They decided that they would Surprise Haaris & inaayat.

They reached Rahman villa few hours ago.

Sanam was informed by her mother - Rabiya that Haaris & inaayat were going to party.

Sanam & Ahmed were in Sanam's room waiting for them.

When Sanam heard Car engine's sound... She figured they were home.

She stood near her room's door waiting for them... So that she could Scare them.

(A/N you all know Bhowwww right? Or am I the only kid here?)

She was about to Bhow but the scene in front of her made her eyes widen & her voice died in her throat.

Haaris was carrying inaayat to Haaris's room.

Ahmed got up & asked Sanam " Kya hua aaye ye lo-(log) "

Sanam quickly covered his mouth with her hand & gestured him to watch carefully.

Ahmed's eyes widened too.

Haaris carried her inside & closed the door.

Sanam laughed like a hyena saying "hum inhe surprise karne aaye the ulta inhone humey surprise kardiya "

Ahmed chuckled in response.

Sanam said " Subah maza chakaongi inko mai...khamakhan Ammi Abbu ko pareshan kar rakha hai "

Ahmed nodded.

Both the set of parents were worried about Haaris & Inaayat.

Sanam's mother - rabiya asked sanam to knock some sense into Haaris when she meets him.

But now that they looked pretty normal... She thanked Allah SWT for his mercy & prayed for their happiness.

Sanam said " Chalo mai sone jaa rahi hoon... Subah mujhe dramon waali nand banna hai...so i need to prepare "

Ahmed laughed & joined her in bed.

Haaris placed inaayat on bed.

Inaayat thanked him & put her heels in corner.

She was about to take her night clothes when Haaris held her wrist & made her sit on bed again.

He asked " Kahan kharocha uss churail ne? Aur tumne mujhe bataaya kyun nahi? "

Inaayat furrowed her eyebrows thinking who is churail?

Her eyes widened when she realized Haaris was talking about that girl.

Haaris held her right arm & looked for scratch when he found none... He turned to other side.

But stopped seeing it was covered under her saree.

He then quickly gathered the loose end of Saree & placed it on her shoulder.

He clenched his jaw when he found a deep scratch on her arm with some dried blood in it.

He took out medical kit from the side table & cleaned it.

He applied soothing gel on the scratch.

The whole time inaayat kept staring at him.

After he was done...Haaris put the box away & said " Yahin baitho mai abhi aaya "

Inaayat nodded.

Haaris got up & went to his cupboard.

He started searching for something or more like Messing everything.

Inaayat sighed in relief when he stopped searching.

He took something from a small jewelry bag.

He put the jewelry bag on couch & came to her.

He opened his palm.

Inaayat found a ring box in his hand.

Haaris slowly opened it revealing a beautiful round cut diamond ring.

Inaayat was astound to see the ring.

Haaris took the ring out.

Inaayat's eyes watered when she watched haaris slip the ring in her ring finger.

It fit her perfectly.

Haaris placed a kiss on her knuckles & said " Dair se hi sahi par apni sahin maalkin ke pass aagayi yeh ring "

Inaayat was too overwhelmed to understand his words.

Haaris smiled at her expression.

He spoke " Mai change karne jaata hoon...tum bhi change karlo "

Inaayat nodded.

Haaris took his night clothes & went to bathroom.

While inaayat sat still watching the ring.

After sometime...She went to take her night clothes out from her suitcase when her eyes fell on the jewelry bag.

She took it & peeped what was inside.

A bill was folded inside... She opened it.

Her eyes widened when she saw the purchasing date.

Haaris's last exam was on that day.

She searched for the time of purchase.

It was 5:30 PM.

Inaayat knew Haaris went out after having his lunch but she never imagined him to go buy a ring for her.

She put it back quickly when she heard the bathroom door unlock.

Haaris came out drying his hair with a towel.

Inaayat quickly took her clothes & went inside.

She freshened up, changed into simple salwar suit & came out to see Haaris was lying on his bed.

Inaayat put her clothes with unwashed clothes.

She sat on bed & started brushing her hair to braid them.

Haaris saw her braiding her hair... He moved closer to her & removed her hands from her hair.

Inaayat jumped & turned to see him sitting right behind her.

Haaris turned her to him completely & slowly moved her hair on one side.

He placed a kiss on her neck.

Inaayat buried her face in his chest feeling shy.

She asked " Yeh ring kab li thi tumne? "

Haaris replied truthfully " Humlog jiss din dinner par gaye the ussi shaam ko...mai chahta tha ki hum dono iss rishte ki nayi aur better shuruaat karen...mujhe tab samajh nahi aaya ki mai yeh sab kyun kar raha hoon...par jab tumne divorce ki baat ki tab mere hosh udhgaye the...maine apni har harkat par bohut regret kiya...phir jab maine woh uncle aur unki wife ko dekha tab realize kiya ki tum mehez meri zimmedaari ya meri aadat nahi balke Meri Mohabbat ho..."

Inaayat could feel her heart swell with happiness hearing him.

Inaayat had one more doubt.

" Yeh ring itni perfect size kaise hai? "

Haaris chuckled & said " Study room ki keys mein se ek key ring tumhe perfectly fit hoti hai "

Inaayat smacked his arm & said " Padhai karne ke bajaye tum yahan wahan dekhkar time waste kar rahe the "

Haaris pecked her cheek & said " Apni biwi ko dekhna koi time waste nahi "

He caressed her cheek & said " Mujhe yeh bhi pata hai ki tum kitne baar book padhte padhte sojaaya karti... Kitni baar shelves count karti aur kitni baar mujhe aankhen dikhaati "

Inaayat Chuckled in reply.

Haaris pulled her on his lap & made her look at him.

He placed a kiss on her forehead & then her cheeks.

Inaayat leaned into him feeling his warm breath fanning her.

Haaris bent & captured her lips in his.

He kissed her expressing his love & adoration for her.

Inaayat circled her arms around his neck & kissed him back.

Suddenly Haaris pulled away alarming inaayat.

He spoke breathlessly  " Sh*t Maine tumhe iss pehle zabardasti kiss kiya tha...iam sorry inaayat...ugh Maine itni galatiyan ki hai ki saari zindagi maafi maangta hi rehjaonga..."

He smacked his forehead.

He felt that he ruined so many beautiful moments due to his stupidity.

Inaayat questioned " Kya tum woh sab regret karte ho? Aur dil se maafi maang rahe ho?"

Haaris nodded his head & hugged her tightly. He apologized to her again.

Inaayat lay in his embrace & remembered how scared she was to come out & face him.

Now she was in his embrace, complaining about him to him & feeling the exact opposite of what she felt that night.

Haaris pulled away from her knowing she could never forgive him for this grave mistake.

He scarred his most precious relationship due to his ego.

Inaayat said " Mai darr ke maarey saari raat bathroom mein chup gayi thi "

Haaris remained still listening to her.

Inaayat continued " Haaris jo kuch bhi pehle hua tha mai woh sab bhulaana chahti hoon...Kya tum mujhse waada karoge ki tum wapas kabhi waise nahi banoge? "

Haaris held her hand in his & said " I promise inaayat mai kabhi koi badtameezi nahi karunga"

Inaayat watched him move a little away from her & hesitantly ask " Inaayat kya tumhe abhi bhi mere pass aane se darr lagta hai? "

He wanted know her honest answer... He didn't want to repeat the same mistake again.

Inaayat buried her face in his neck & said " Tumhe lagta hai mai tumhe apne itne kareeb aane deti? "

Haaris could feel her arms tightening around him.

He felt his heart would jump out of his chest in happiness.

He pulled away & kissed her forehead.

Then started peppering kisses on her face making her giggle.

Slowly Inaayat's back touched the bed & Haaris hovered her softly kissing her neck.

Inaayat ran her fingers in his hair tugging him close.

Haaris dimmed the lights...he then pulled her up & discarded his t-shirt followed by hers.

He made love to her with tenderness pulling her into the valley of desire & Love.
