Layla's POV

"Stay on the call with me Suzie, I'm on my way." I was about to run off when Mattheo and Luca stopped me.

"What's wrong Layla, where are you off to in such a hurry?" Mattheo asked me.

"Suzie's in trouble, she went to that place alone, and now some people are after her," I told him and he stared at me.

"What? She went there by herself?" He asked me shocked and I nodded my head. "Yeah, now I need to go to her. She's waiting for me." I told him and made my way towards my room to grab my dagger before he could say anything to me.

I took three stairs at a time and soon I reached my room. I grabbed my dagger which was covered in its sheath, and put it on the side of my pants, and then rushed down. My phone, where Suzie was still on the call, gripped in my hands tightly.

I ran down the stairs and towards the main gate when Mattheo and Luca stopped me. "Wait, Layla, we're coming with you. Let me inform those Three." He told me and I shook my head. "No, you can't!" I blurted out and he furrowed his eyebrows. "Why?"

"I don't have time Mattheo, it'll take a lot of time to inform them and whatnot. You two stay here and cover for me, I'll be back in the blink of your eyes." I told them and made my way towards the door before Mattheo grabbed my arm.

"Don't act on your impulse, Layla. It's not safe, let us-" I cut him off, "She's in trouble Mattheo. Who knows what'll happen to her if we're late." I tried telling him.

"What if something happens to you? What then?" He said, his eyes gazing at me and it was no use talking about it. "You know I can manage myself, don't you? Nothing will happen to me." I told him taking off his hand from my arm.

"Just take care of things here, I'll be back shortly," I told him and ran out the door. After I was out of the security of the mansion, which didn't question much cause they knew me, I took a taxi and told them the address.

"Suzie, all okay?" I asked her once I was in the taxi and it was on the road. I heard faint whimpers before she mumbled, "I could hear them coming Layla." She whispered, her voice shaking from fear.

I gripped onto the seat in front of me, "I'm almost there, don't let them get you, Suzie, please." I told her once again, panicking myself, but tried to remain calm for her.

"I'm scared Layla." She whispered which broke my heart. I felt stinging hotness in my eyes, but I blinked my eyes, holding the phone tightly against my ears. "Nothing will happen to you, Suzie. Do you hear me? I promise you."

"Please hurry up!" I yelled at the driver and he nodded his head before he put on the gear. And in no time I noticed the entrance of the alleyway. "I can't go any further from here." The driver told me, and I paid him for the ride before I rushed out of the car and ran into the alley.

It was dark and empty seeing it's almost 11 pm. I felt the coldness around me, making me pull over my hood as I searched for her. "Hello? Suzie, I'm here," I told her, my voice low to not attract any random stranger.

"I heard a scream from the phone as well as the alleyway and my blood went cold. "Hello, Suzie? Suzie!" I shouted, not caring anymore whether I attract any weird stranger cause I was a hundred and ten percent sure. That scream belonged to her.

I placed my phone in the pocket of my pants and ran towards where I heard the scream. I took a sharp turn and what I saw next, made me halt in my steps.

5 men were surrounding Suzie as two of them caught each one of her arms. She was crying and resisting them, trying to get their hands off of her. All of them snickered seeing her helpless state and one of them, which seemed like their leader stood in the middle as he tried reaching out his hand to touch her face.

I fisted my hands tightly beside me, rage-filled in every cell of my body. "Hey!" I shouted loudly and all of their heads and attention turned to me.

"Who the fuck are you? Stay out of here if you love your life." One of them muttered who had a beanie over his head. "Get your filthy hands off of her." I gritted, my body was now shaking with rage.

The beanie guy scoffed, "Who the fuck do you think you are? He neared me. His eyes landed on my face and they widened as he checked me out, a smirk now stretching on his face.

"Boss, it seems like today's our lucky day. Not only one, but we got ourselves two." He laughed, giving me a nasty smirk that made me scrunch up my nose in disgust.

The man who he called boss turned around from Suzie and looked at me. His face grew into a smirk and I noticed the many tattoos on his neck. I knew instantly, these guys were trouble.

"What are you waiting for then? Get her!" The boss ordered the Beanie guy and he smiled evilly at me walking towards me.

He raised his hands to grab me but I was quicker than him and dodged it, kicking him where the sun never shines. The Beanie guy wailed as he held onto the place where I kicked him and fell on the ground crying in pain.

"Don't fucking touch me!" I spat at him, glaring at his pathetic form. The other man who was beside the boss guy came for me. The other two which held Suzie remained there with the boss watching us.

"Come here little girl," This guy had chains around his neck and was much taller than the beanie guy who came towards me. He tried grabbing me by my waist but I counter back with my arms, hitting them, and then kicked him in his guts which made him whimper as he held there groaning in pain.

"You bitch!" He hissed, still not recovering from my kick and I smirked at him. "Don't underestimate this little girl, she knows few moves to kick your ass," I told him and he glared at me, still holding onto the place where I kicked him. The beanie guy was still laying on the ground wincing in pain. I guess he won't be able to have his children after today.

The boss looked at me and I approached where they had Suzie captive. She looked at me smiling weakly, her face covered in sweat from all the struggles. "Layla," she breathed out and I nodded her way before I glared at the boss guy.

"Let her go," I told him and he looked at me before he burst into laughter. "And why would I do that?" He asked me raising his brow and I fisted my hand feeling rage come all over again.

"I'll fucking kill you if you won't!" I threatened him and the boss guy started laughing once again followed by the two other guys who held Suzie. "Go on, try killing me then." He told me and I couldn't help but feel a sudden urge to beat the shit out of this guy.

And I stride over him, my fist was about to meet his jaw before he grabbed it and rolled it behind my back, making my back hit his front as I winced in pain from his hold.

"I'm not like those weak bastards," he pulled my arm around to make it hurt me even more. I felt like my arm would pop out if he kept on pulling on it. The pain made me let go of my ability to rational thinking cause all I wanted was for him to let go of my arm.

"Layla!" Suzie yelled my name and I tried to look behind me at her but then the guy pulled on my arm and I winced. "Stand still bitch." He ordered me and I breathed heavily due to the pain from it.

"You made a big mistake getting involved with me and on top of that threatening me." He snickered and all of a sudden what Sinn taught me came flooding into my head.

I felt my free right hand and taking the opportunity where this boss guy was busy laughing and mocking my helpless state, I folded my elbow and hit him on his ribs right where Sinn had taught me to.

I instantly felt the grip on my arm loosen and taking this opportunity, I kicked the boss guy on his feet with all my might which made him let go of me fully.

"Fuck!" He screamed and I didn't stop yet, I took out my dagger from its sheath and held it against the boss guy's neck.

"Let her go or else I'll fucking tear apart his neck!" I spat, my dagger against his neck which made all of them froze on their spot.

The two guys which held Suzie looked at the boss guy for his confirmation, "What the fuck are you looking at? Do as the girl says!" He ordered them and they instantly let Suzie go and she ran to me.

"Layla, " she breathed out still out of breath. "Run," I told her. She looked at me giving me a look that said she didn't get what I'm saying. "Run Suzie I'll manage the rest!" I told her once again.

"But-" she tried saying something but I cut her off, "Run Suzie!" I yelled and Suzie's eyes widened as she nodded her head, and ran in the opposite direction passing the two guys which held her, but they didn't stop her.

I sighed in relief when I saw she was out of our sight, but this relief didn't last long when a firm hand grabbed my wrist. My blood turned cold and my heart stopped in my chest. I slowly tilted my head and noticed the chains guy, which I had kicked on the guts earlier, looking down at me.

He pulled my hand up, away from the boss guy's neck.  "Don't try to act smart now girl." The chain guy smirked and he rolled my hand behind my back and from the pain which is caused, made my dagger slip out of my grasp.

Next, I felt someone kick the opening of my knee, making me fall on my knees and I grunted. My hood had already fallen from my head, making my hair fell over my face as my head hung low.

The chain guy held me in place, holding my arm behind me. I noticed a pair of black shoes covered in mud in front of me. The hairs that fell on my face limited my view.

I slowly tried looking up, but the pain which grew from my arm also made me from looking up at them. Then they spoke, and I heard the very voice of the boss guy, and I knew; I was fucked.

"You're done for, little girl."
