Part 20

Veer move away from him. Ansh jumped down from counter and went towards the microwave to get the food.

Both came to the dining table. He started serving food to his husband.

Ansh- Is everything ok? Kaafi late hogaya apko.

Veer- hmm... The work needs to be completed on time. I don't like piling up the files.

( he just stared at me and started adding more food).

I completed the dinner and went inside the kitchen to wash my hands. I saw him keeping the remaining food in the fridge. He was about to take a step towards the sink to wash the plates, but I pulled him towards me.

He was surprised by the sudden move I made. I picked him up, and he being scared, wrapped his legs around my torso and arms around my neck.

Ansh- what are doing? Put me down.

Veer- why are you scared, that I will drop you?

Ansh- No, it's just what if someone sees us like this. And also, you seem quite tired. I am heavy, put me down.

(he just chuckled, and started walking upstairs)

Veer- baby, you are anything but heavy. (Raising an eye brow) do you think, these muscles are useless?

(He immediately shook his head and couldn't help but chuckle. I kept walking upstairs. As soon as we reached out room. I laid him on bed and made myself  comfortable on him.)

Baby, run your fingers through my hair. I wanna sleep so badly. It was hectic day.

Ansh- sleep properly. Otherwise you will have pain in your lower back. (He just hummed. After sometime he shifted to his side on bed.) Let's sleep now. You seem very tired.

Both of us drifted off. Soon the morning came. When Ansh woke up, his husband was nowhere to be find. He did his morning routine and went downstairs.

Ansh- maa, woh office chale gaye?

Ray- damn ansh, you sound like a typical housewife. Like the wife's do, "Ajji sunte ho"

Saying this ray started laughing along with Akash and Richa.

Malti- shh, yes Ansh he went to office. You also know right how workaholic he is. Come have breakfast.

Raj- Shut your mouth ray and complete your breakfast. After your breakfast take Ansh to your room and start preparing for your exams.

I and Akash have evening flight. We will be going to London for a very important meeting. It might take a while, as multiple things needs our attention their. This project is in the middle phase, so we have to be more careful with this. It will take 5 months to complete this project.

And you Ray, don't be a brat and keep my baby safe in college. Its your responsibility to make sure you guys go to college together and come back together. If you wanna meet your girlfriend then drop him home and then go.

(Listening this ray, choked on his food. Ansh was equally shocked that how can Baba know about this. As they made sure not to discuss this when someone was around. Ray looked at ansh, as if asking was it him.)

Raj- don't look at my baby like that. He wasn't the one. And baby ansh, I am disappointed in you. Since when did you started hiding things from me.

(Tears welled up in ansh's eyes. As he sense the disappointment in his Baba's voice)

Ray- Dad please. It was me who asked him not to. He agreed because I promised him, that I am not yet sure about my feelings for her. I asked him to be quite about this matter, as I should be the one to inform you guys about my gf.

Raj- I know and I am not angry. I want you guys to come and share things with me, not because I want to control you guys but rather keep you people safe from my enemies. I don't want people to take advantage of my kids. I don't worry about Veer much because I know, he is a smart, egoistic and he senses when things are going wrong.

Ray you and ansh are still very young. So I  am more worried for you both. And why did you broke up with her?

Ray- Because she wanted to reach you through me. I sensed 2 days back and broke up with her. I swear I didn't cross my line. We always met at public place like parks or cafes.

Raj- I know that my kids respect women and would never treat them wrong. But what do you mean by trying to reach me?

(Ray was very angry now. His face was red.)

Ray- well she is into older men. She finds you very handsome and charming. Well at first when she was praising you, I felt so proud. But when I heard her conversation with her friend, like how she would use me and enter our house. She was planning to seduce you and gain power and money.

But dont worry dad. She won't ever think about it. I made  sure her parents sent her away from here and she would never be back. I had few videos and photos, which I found in her phone. She was blackmailing arhaan's father. She did the same with his father, what she planning to do with you.

So, I directly fixed an appointment with Mr. Mehta and said him about her plan to ruin his family. Well she wasn't going to do that, but I said him this. As I wanted his influence and power to make her vanish. This was the best option for our family. I handed him the evidence and promised not to say anyone.

(Everyone were shocked to see this side of ray. He was always the funny and naughty brat. Who was carefree, without a care  enjoying his life)

Raj- you could have come to me, Akash Or Veer.

Ray- Naah, involving you guys would have highlighted the issue. And no one hurts my family and get away with it.

I have decided dad, I wanna join business. I have decided, I will go for further studies and do MBA.

(Everyone present were so proud. Richa and Akash literally clapped. )

Raj- well I am proud of my brat. Akash bring your luggage and everything we need to carry with us here only. We can spend some time together and then in evening ray will drop us.

Ansh- baba, I will also come to drop you at the airport. You both packed warm clothes right?

Richa- don't worry sweety, malti and I have made sure to pack the important things.

Soon the evening came. Both ladies were emotional. Ray and Ansh kept the luggage in the car. All of them settled in the car. Ray was feeling like a driver, as in the back seat the three of them were settled. Ansh was sitting between Raj and Akash. Who were hugging him close. The baby of the house was enjoying and was very emotional. Raj was never away from him.
