Chapter 16
THE SPIRITS
Religious poems
We spirits have a body that's vast,
Love will reveal who we are at last.
Listening closely with my ear,
I know what I love, it's crystal clear.
I hear beyond you, footsteps near,
When the light fades, yet I feel no fear.
Inside of me, no soul does rest,
I don't need a muse to feel blessed.
You're a small light, a moon that's thin,
But I prefer the full moon's grin,
So you may see with perfect sight,
Every mark, every mole in the night,
Made in the name of a savior's grace,
In that far, sad, forgotten place,
Where I was the only one to write,
Now I play roles in a different light.
I am Lucifer, actress bold,
In this new story I unfold!
