Chapter 2 of 27

TELL ME, SOUL

Religious poems65 words~1 min read

Tell me, soul, to whom do you belong?

To which congregation do you cling strong?

Which Angel's hand do you hold so tight?

To whom do you dedicate your steps in plight?

I've seen the people, seen the sculptors' art,

Carving wings and horns, each playing their part.

I've seen the people, all colors unite,

But tell me, within you, who dwells in the night?
