You have the wings, yet they don't matter,
If courage to fly is what you shatter.
In your eyes, the coldness grows,
A fear that deep within you sows.
Life will cut those wings away,
And you'll fall, in dismay,
Thinking you still soar, so high,
When you never learned to fly.
Life won't forgive the coward's fate,
everything is now too late.
