CH 25: Mew Should Be The Top!

Glazed Doughnuts

"What did we do?" Gulf asked. Far as he could remember, neither he nor Mew had done nothing to anger Fon.

"Ever cared to tell me that Mew is a hermaphrodite!?" Fon yelled. Gulf and Mew's eyes were wide in shock. They were still to talk to her about this, so how did she find out? March came in and held Fon. "We can talk peacefully about this, please Fon," March was talking to Fon.

Mew's nightmare was playing right in front of him. I should have told her about this before the marriage itself. It would have spared all this drama, Mew had a gloom on his face. His eyes were brimming with tears. Not everyone could accept the fact of a man getting pregnant or just having a womb. And to Mew, Fon seemed to be of that sort. Though he didn't blame her.

Mew was worried ever since he told Gulf about this. He was worried if Gulf would even be able to absorb his words. But Gulf did. He accepted Mew happily. He made Mew feel accepted and loved... and normal. Living with the messed-up family Mew had for years, he never thought that anyone would want him even after knowing this. This was Mew's darkest secret. Mew never had a relationship with anyone, ever. Not because he was not good-looking. Not because his step-sister would spread filthy rumors about him. Mew was always the top student in the field of academics and looks. He had many admirers.

There were people who courted Mew in his schooling life. There were both girls and boys who wanted to be with him. There were a lot of people who had a crush on him even after knowing those rumors spread by Jenna. But Mew did not want to take a risk. He didn't want to risk this secret of his. People would just despise him and nothing else. He was afraid of trusting someone. Because all those whom he trusted in his life, his mom, grandma, Glaze, had left him with incurable scars. He didn't want to trust someone and let his secret become the talk of the town. He didn't want to be talked of behind his back.

The rumors Jenna spread were enough for him. She would go around telling people that Mew had some mental issues. She would say that he had suicidal tendencies. She would say that he was obsessive so it is better to keep away from him. And people would believe her because she was his sister. No one knew that they were family just by a piece of paper that had their parents' signatures on it and not by feeling or even blood. Mew never had a chance to make friends till he started working. Because he and Jenna had to go to the same university as per his father's wish.

But in his first job, he could not make friends. He no more remembered what it felt like to have a company of someone. He forgot what it felt like to smile genuinely and not just stretching his lips to his ears because he is supposed to. All he did in his first job was work. When his colleagues asked him to hang out together, Mew would decline. He didn't want to get drunk and spill his tea. He wanted to keep away from those heart-to-heart talks. He didn't even know if his heart was still functioning or not. He had never felt anything for years. As the days of his teenage passed, his heart grew numb and numb.

In his second job at GD Corp, he still carried on being his stiff self. He was too dense to read others. And he was too complicated for others to read him. He remembered the day Win had approached him during break time. Mew had stretched his lips into that fake smile so as not to seem rude. But Win was not buying it. Win told Mew, "It's okay if you don't want to smile. Fake smiles hurt worse than no smile. You should only smile when you really feel like it. Forcing yourself to do so isn't good." He was the first one to break through Mew's first wall of defense. Win became like a little brother to Mew. Mew could let his guard down around him. And when Wan came to work with them first, Mew didn't know if to be friends with her or treat her like he treated everyone else other than Win. But even she managed to break through his defenses unknowingly.

Mew had found two stupid younger sibling figures. He couldn't count the times he slept at Win's place because he didn't want to look at the face of his stepmother. Wan turned out to be the crazy kind who loved shipping two guys together. She was always trying to turn Win gay and set him up with whichever man she found worthy of Win's ass. These two were the first ones to find Mew's secret out. Wan had just squealed in excitement. "I thought of you as such a high and mighty top! But you turned out to be the cutesy bottom," Wan had said when she found out. Win just accepted and was actually happy that Wan would stop trying to ship them.

Mew was always worried about Fon and March's reaction since his and Gulf's first time. That time, he knew that he will have to tell them about this much sooner than he had expected. He was afraid that Fon would no more accept him. That he would lose the woman he could call mom by heart, again. That he might have to leave Gulf. He didn't know how he could carry on living without Gulf once again. And Fon's reaction seemed to be worse than he had expected.

He never thought that Fon would get so angry over this matter. When Fon asked him to shut his mouth his insecurities rose higher than they had these past few days. He thought that she was so disgusted with him that she doesn't even want to hear his voice anymore.

Without Mew knowing, tears were filling his eyes and blurring his vision. He was just staring at the ground ever since Fon had snapped at him. But he felt very familiar arms circle around him. Gulf was holding him close. To comfort him, maybe. Or maybe he was trying to stand up for him.

"What is the problem with Mew being a hermaphrodite!?" Gulf raised his voice. Fon was still fuming with anger. "Fon, calm down first," March begged of his angry wife. With the experience of thirty-three years, March knew that the best way to calm Fon was to beg her instead of talking sense to her.

"How can you expect me to calm down when this idiot son of yours never told me he could have his own children with his husband without any medical help!" Fon yelled at her husband. The three men were shocked. They were thinking that she was angry because she can not accept it but she was actually pissed because she didn't know earlier. "Oh and also, Gulf Kanawut, did you ever plan on telling me that Mew is your Doughnut?" Fon glared daggers at her son. "You're okay with it?"March asked in disbelief. He had no problem with Mew whatsoever. All he knew was his son was happy and that's what mattered to him. He didn't care what the world might say about his son because the world never really cares for a person.

"It's just hard to accept that this idiot is the top and not Mew," Fon said with red cheeks. She never imagined her son could be the top. And when she found out about Mew's condition, she couldn't believe that it was actually Mew who was the bottom. "So... you don't have a problem with that?" Gulf asked. He wanted to assure his brains that his mom really was okay with Mew, to tell her of his pregnancy.

"Why would I have a problem with my own child. Remember, the moment the two of you took your vows, I already accepted Mew as my own. And every mother accepts and loves her child for whatever he or she is. And Mew being able to bear children only makes me happy," Fon told the three. She added, "I love him not because he's like my own child but because now, he is my own."

Mew could not believe what Fon had just said. He could not believe that she had no problem in the slightest with it. He did not know what had he done in his past life that he got this family to call his own after his real one broke down. The tears Mew was trying to hold didn't listen to him anymore and flowed down his face. He couldn't believe that they accepted him without a question.

"Doughnut.." Gulf called for his husband lovingly. Mew just kept his head hanging down and cried. Gulf was drawing circles on his back to calm him but nothing seemed to pacify him. When Fon realized that Mew is crying, she rushed to him and pushed Gulf away. Gulf was taken aback by his mother's action. Fon embraced Mew and Mew put his hands around her to hug her tight. Fon was whispering sweet things to him to calm him down. And it seemed to be working. He let his tears out for some time and then calmed down.

Once he was calm, Gulf took him from his mother. He was jealous even of his own mother. Gulf quickly unbuttoned Mew's top buttons. Mew didn't remember about the red marks there. He thought that Gulf is doing this to reduce the suffocation of his shirt. But Gulf actually did that to show his marks of ownership. Fon blushed, whereas March gagged at the audacity or maybe shamelessness of his son.

In a while, the family was sitting in the living room. Fon had Mew sitting beside him while she hugs him. He still wasn't totally calm. And the father-son duo was sitting across them. "So what did you do to your Doughnut?" March asked in a whisper. Gulf blushed and then smirked, "Do you want just the highlights or the whole thing in detail, old man?" March scoffed. He never thought that his son could be this shameless to talk about such a thing with a literal smirk. He turned to his wife and son-in-law.

Fon asked, "Well, were you to trying to make my grandchildren when I barged in?" She was eying the red marks on Mew's exposed skin. And she did remember hearing some moans when she was approaching the living room. Of course, how could she forget the scene when Gulf got up, then looked back down to do something, and then Mew getting up from the same spot with messy hair and rapid breathing. In all honesty, she wanted to throw her anger away and squeal out loud but she couldn't. Mew was flustered at the question. His cheeks turned red and he asked, "Why would you ask that, mom?" This man had totally forgotten that he had three peanuts in him already.

Fon chuckled, "The redness of your neck kind of makes it look like that." Mew remembered that Gulf had made marks there and he instantly glared at his husband. Gulf was sitting there, smiling proudly. Like this had no effect on this shameless man. Mew closed all the buttons. Fon pinched his cheeks as she found this adorable. "So, when are you two planning on having a child?" Fon asked. Mew looked at his smirking husband and remembered that he was already pregnant.

Gulf snickered. He had something in his mind and Mew knew that he shouldn't tell Fon directly and wait for his husband. In this whole situation, Mew had forgotten about the peanuts. Mommy is sorry that he forgot about you na~ Please don't be mad at me. I love you, Mew mentally apologized to the three swimming peas in him.
