NIGHTMARE

early morning ,

there's a message on my phone

It's him ,

asking for call once I reach home

but ,

how do I ?

How do I ?

Tell him , he is my home : my safest zone

So I started fading from the crowd like a swift breeze blown

And I woke up on my bed

Realizing it was a dream : illusion of my head

because he won't come , he is way ahead

but a lifeless hope ,

compelled me to check his text

hoping maybe he too misses me ,

would send barely a *hi* leaving me perplexed

with swollen sleepy eyes and a heavy heart

I gathered courage , but my soul broke apart

seeing nothing from his end

flashback hits hard ,

of the elixir moments we've spent so far

wishing this fight to be a nightmare

Someone please awake me ,

cause now its hard to bear
