The room was silent as everyone absorbed the information given by the Dragon lord.

"The white star is reincarnating for thousands of years for breaking the oath of death." tcf!Alberu summarizes the information that they got.

"I'm now sure he is the leader of arm organization" that's the only conclusion tcf!Cale comes up based on all the information he gathered, and also "he's the one who planned the summoning" he said with a voice as sharp as a knife.

Everyone recalls all the incidents.

Suddenly

After the many error message, the transparent screen turns white as it glitches.

As everyone looks at the glitching white screen preparing to see the people in the other room.

...!

They did not expect to see... a hand suddenly sliding out of the screen.

Gasps. "It's the ring!!!" og!Cale screams the word out.

Everyone become alert at og!Cale screams of terror.

"W-What?" tboah!Cale ask as he was getting nervous about that hand that's now become a pair.

"It's an evil ghost that will hunt you for 7 days till it kills you on the last day!!" og!Cale explains as he stands up.

"What the-! First zombie and now a ghost!?" tboah!Cale said as he also nervously stand up in his seat.

"There's no such thing as a ghost!" tcf!Cale hissed at them but with blood draining from his face.

"We fight different kinds of monsters and are literally surrounded with different kinds of existence! So you can't brush out the possibility of a cursed ghost!"

Again, they can't refute that.

"It must be magic! Like the Dragon lord! Not ghost!!" As tcf!Cale too is standing in his seat.

"Exactly! She's magic! So she's not an evil ghost! Ghosts are different!" og!Cale had seen a lot in his old and new world so he will not brush off all possibilities. "My team members said that we need to give it the ring!"

"So that's where he gets all these ideas!" tcf!Cale thinks as he was cursing his crazy team members.

There were now four pairs of arms that are sliding out of the screen.

"No! There are 2 of them! Quick! we need to find the ring!" og!Cale said in a panicked voice.

"Alright! You need to stop listening to our team members! And it's to copy the tape, not a ring!" ... "Right?" tcf!Cale was not sure as he only heard parts of it in his previous world.

"And why are you so afraid when as you said we face many dangers?" tcf!Cale questions as he looks for the children preparing to grab and run if necessary.

"Yes, but those things we could attack or kill, you can't kill something that's already dead and all attacks slide through them!" og!Cale reasoned as he hug On preparing to run out.

"Why do they have to slide out on our side! We're all weak here compared to the other sides!" tboah!Cale stated the obvious as he hug Hong preparing to dash out.

Some people from the other side look extremely alarmed at a possible enemy. Some are preparing to destroy the glass-like wall with all their might. While some look amused knowing what kind of existence is the figures.

"Don't worry weaklings! I'm the strong and mighty dragon! I'll protect you from this ghost!" a floating Raon declares puffing his chest.

"Will magic work on them?"

The Cales was not sure but still drew closer to the young Dragon.

Two heads are now out as tcf!Cale froze hearing their cursing.

He knows those voices.

The two figures were falling down the screen as the figures keep shouting.

"Rok Soo! let go!"

"That's right! We don't know where we're being taken! It might be dangerous!"

The two figures shouted clearly more worried for the other rather than their situation.

Everyone become alert at the name that was shouted.

As another set of hands that was grabbing tightly both of the figures' ankles slides out

"Shut.. urgh..up," the figure said trying his best to pull them back with a vice-like grip but failing with how skinny he was.

And like that, the three figures fall down.

"Ooff!"

The two figures immediately scramble up to hide or protect the thinnest figure behind their back as they survey the room.

They relax their stance as they finally know where they are. And froze as their eyes landed on tcf!Cale who is in a daze and was unconsciously walking closer to them.

"H..How?"

The figures flinch hearing that stoic voice but full of emotions.

"Rok Soo! It's me, Choi Jung Soo!" Choi Jung Soo said brightly as he immediately hug tcf!Cale.

"You punk, why are you just looking at us? Give your hyung a hug" Lee Soo Hyuk said as he walk closer and give tcf!Cale a tight hug.

...!

Everyone remembers the name Choi Jung Soo who died to choose his dongsaeng life over him.

tcf!Cale raised his trembling hand and grabbed hold of their arms that was hugging him, he hold them tightly as if afraid if he let go they will disappear.

No tears were shed. No other words were said. The three hugging each other is more than enough to convey the feelings of regret, anger grief, happiness, acceptance, and being complete.

... Meanwhile, "Are those two ghosts?" og!Cale was worried for tcf!Cale.

"I'll cause a distraction while you take Cale" tboah!Cale said as he grab his bottle of wine.

"Run with us after I grab him" og!Cale was not leaving anyone behind.

As they get ready to run.

"I'm here too you know," the thin figure said trying to stop the idiots from ruining the moment.

"It's mini you-!" tboah!Cale said in shock as he saw a younger sickly version of og!Cale.

"Very weak human! You look like the other human!"

The children circle around him, curious about the human that looks like he might get blown by the wind.

"I think that's the past Cale" og!Cale observe as he didn't switch places that young.

"So it's mini Cale! Wait, it feels like I'm talking about me." tboah!Cale scrunches his face not liking calling himself mini.

"Oh I know it's mini Cale the good version!" He declared as if he made something that has sense.

Whack

tboah!Cale caress his head as he was about to glare at the person who smack him.

"What good version?" tcf!Cale scoffed, he had the urge to roll his eyes at the nonsense the idiot was saying.

tboah!Cale and og!Cale looks at tcf!Cale who have dry red eyes as if he just finished crying but there were no tear tracks. They frown and glare at the two beside him.

Sensing the hostility., Choi Jung Soo and Lee Soo Hyuk decided to placate them by introducing themselves.

"Hey! Were Rok Soo's hyungs!" Choi Jung Soo said pointing to himself and the one besides.

"Well, it's Cale now since the switch and all" Lee Soo Hyuk said proving their theory that they were being watched in the other room.

"Hmph," tcf!Cale scoffed at them.

There glare ease looking at tcf!Cale relaxed expression.

"This is Choi Jung Soo, Kim Rok Soo and I'm Lee Soo Hyuk"

"Pyah!" "Pyah!?"

"You're really asking why the Earth 2 Koreans got here from the other room?" og!Cale looks at the slime finally relaxing knowing that the figures are living humans.

Earth 2.. the multiple Earth.

Everyone recalls that first information.

"So you're a parallel version of my previous world" tcf!Cale lower his head in deep thought.

"Is he sad because they weren't the persons that he know?" Everyone thought as most are worried for tcf!Cale.

Since tcf!Cale's face was covered no one can see his bright face as he thinks "it means my other self can change the outcome."

"Mah! Who cares about the parallel stuff!" Cjs declared not caring about the small stuff, he cares about his dongsaeng whatever Earth he is.

"Yeah, we're still your hyungs" Lee Soo Hyuk agrees because he knows that their bond is stronger than anything to the point where multiverse doesn't matter.

"Why are you saying something obvious?" as tcf!Cale finally looks up and scoffed ignoring the fact that he agreed that they are his hyungs.

"Anyway, we are from Earth 2, a different Korea. Well that was what the pink slime told us" st!Kim Rok Soo said with a shrugged.

As everyone look at him and frown worried at how thin he was. He should eat more. Wait...

"Pink?"

"Don't ask" st!Kim Rok Soo crumped his face as he continues "it looks nasty."

The grey slime looks dejected.

"Pyah" "Pyah" "Pyah"

And that's the last words it left as it splash to the ground turning into a grey puddle.

"..."

"Is it dead?" tboah!Toonka ask.

"Well.. it did say to watch the next while it does some troubleshoot, don't know what that even means" tboah!Bud answered.

Everyone shrugged as they return to their seat while the center couch grew bigger that can fit the Cales, children, and the new group.

Chapter 394: The crazy one, the innocent one, and the laughing one (4)

"Sounds like they're talking about you four" Lee Soo Hyuk looks at his 2 dongsaeng and his 2 new dongsaeng. He already adopted them as his siblings whether they like it or not.

"You mean a mix of having a crazy idea, being smart but at the same time innocent, and laughably dense?"Choi Jung Soo said as if he was giving facts from his observations.

Lee Soo Hyuk nods assenting the observation.

As 4 pairs of eyes looking at them like they're crazy.

Cale then watched as many scenes passed by.

'Kim Rok Soo!'

He could hear Choi Jung Soo's voice. Choi Jung Soo was standing in front of him with his sword raised.

Tcf!Cale inhales sharply. As he continue reading, haze covered his eyes as images flashed by.

He knows this scene. And what it entails.

Cale could also see a large monster coming out of the ground, making it seem as if the world was covered in darkness and fire. Numerous other monsters that seemed to be the large monster's subordinates were next to it.

Everyone was tense at the situation.

As tboah!Cale and og!Cale keeps glancing at their side, clear worry shown in their face.

He watched as his work buddies charged toward those monsters.

Fellow team members, his sunbaes, and his friends.

The image overlaps what tcf!Cale was hearing.

Two hands grab him.

Lee Soo Hyuk and Choi Jung Soo don't know what will happen there but based on tcf!Cale's reaction they know it won't be good.

tcf!Cale looked at the owners of the hands. He calm down seeing the strong (alive )look they gave and was reassured of their presence next to him.

People who he had been working together were all charging toward this deathtrap.

'Kim Rok Soo! Hurry up and contact the government and central HQ! Send an emergency signal to all guilds!'

Cale could hear his team leader, Lee Soo Hyuk's voice.

"Ah, so he's the team leader?" the crown prince mumbled. He was curious what kind of person can lead that kind of trouble magnet. He would like to have a conversation with him.

This is what Cale, Kim Rok Soo, had said at that time.

'...This is difficult. Team leader, this is too difficult.'

Hearing that tone of voice that was full of sadness and truth.

"What? Why is it difficult?" st!Kim Rok Soo needs to know. He knows himself and he won't just say that sentence without doing everything he can.

Kim Rok Soo who oversaw the strategical planning in the rear support calculated the numerous records in his mind ever since the monsters had appeared in the world and concluded.

'We are all going to die if we try to fight that monster right now.'

The person who was always calm and looked like he was always one step ahead would say that.

Everyone becomes distraught.

As Lee Soo Hyuk and Choi Jung Soo frown. They know their dongsaeng won't think like that if not for being in a very dire situation.

"Yes," Lee Soo Hyuk agrees with Choi Jung Soo and his other-self. "I'm sure it's thanks to you that we save many civilians' life, just like always." He continues as he looks at tcf!Cale.

tcf!Cale looks at both of them and closes his hand in a grip.

The voices of his only friend who had said that to him in a mischievous way hit Kim Rok Soo, Cale, like a tsunami.

'Hey, it would have been really bad if it wasn't for you.'

The Kim Rok Soo at the time had so many records and data that he could use his ability to foresee the appearance of the second strongest monster ever seen in the history of the Earth.

"To be able to foresee that. He really is astounding" tcf!Witira said in awe for a human to have that amazing capability.

One hour.

It wasn't much time, but it had been enough for them to contact the guild responsible for that area to prepare and evacuate the citizens.

However, while Kim Rok Soo could foresee the location the monster would arrive but not its strength.

Cale could smell, see, hear, and feel the conversations from that day, the heat and burning smell in the air, as well as the black and red surroundings of that day.

Everyone was troubled at reading tcf!Cale bleeding again.

tcf!Cale frown(pout) . It's not like he wanted to get into the mess.

"After your conquest, go build a farm." Lee Soo Hyuk declares as he thought that tcf!Cale will be busy farming to run off to danger.

"That's right!" Choi Jung Soo agrees looking at tcf!Cale. He then looks at st!Kim Rok Soo "when we retire let's also build a farm together!" was said as a promise.

Both tcf!Cale and st!Kim Rok Soo look displeased at the troublesome task. At the same time happy for the hope they give to them.

Kim Rok Soo used his sleeve to wipe his nose. He had continued to pay attention to Lee Soo Hyuk as he did that.

"I don't have a mess up pain tolerance" tcf!Cale scoffed at the accusation.

st!Kim Rok Soo nods agreeing with his alternative self.

Scoffed

"Said the guy who describe the cracks in his body as multiple paper cuts" They grumble.

However, the records in Cale's mind did not stop.

He recalled what team leader Lee Soo Hyuk had said after that.

'This isn't that hard. Actually, no.'

Team leader Lee Soo Hyuk had seemed calm even while looking at that scary monster.

'Hey, have you ever seen our team do easy work? We always have had to do everything in our powers to survive.'

Not even once.

Kim Rok Soo had never fought a battle with an overwhelming advantage ever since joining the company and working under team leader Lee Soo Hyuk.

"Hey! You make it sound like it's my fault!" Lee Soo Hyuk teasingly said trying to lighten the mood.

tcf!Cale snort, and knowing full well what Lee Soo Hyuk was doing, that's why he replied "most of it is your fault."

"Yeah!" Choi Jung Soo agrees joining in "Remember that incident that everyone dub as 'the Atlantis'."

Gasps . Lee Soo Hyuk was dramatically holding his hand in his heart as he dramatically gasps and replies "I don't know what you're all talking about."

Choi Jung Soo laugh out loud as tcf!Cale chuckled feeling a little lighter.

They really never had it easy.

'This is just the same as usual. That is why we need to do what we need to do. Isn't that right?'

Kim Rok Soo had laughed at that comment back then. It was because Lee Soo Hyuk was right.

'Huh? You're laughing now, you little punk?'

Team leader Lee Soo Hyuk and Choi Jung Soo had left the laughing Kim Rok Soo behind as they joined the other team members to fight.

Everyone flinches.

As they heard the laughter of happiness turn to sadness the moment those Lee Soo Hyuk and Choi Jung Soo left to join the others to fight.

Cale felt his mind becoming a mess at that moment.

'And then, after that-'

He knew that he had a clear record of what had happened next.

Those images quickly burst into Cale's mind.

"We could stop this chapter" Lee Soo Hyuk finally offer, he doesn't want his dongsaeng to remember any more nightmares.

"I'll break the screen" Choi Jung Soo volunteered, he'll crush anything if he had to if it means that his dongsaeng won't feel hurt.

"Don't" tcf!Cale stops them. "This chapter might be important to our future," He said in a firm voice.

Everyone who heard that smile sadly. "He's willing to go through pains for others again."

"Yes, it might be important to achieve my future slacker life" tcf!Cale thought with determination.

However, Cale was unable to read those records correctly.

The strength of the destructive monster.

His teammates fighting against it.

All of them being put in danger.

They started to run toward him.

All of these images mixed together in his mind.

st!Kim Rok Soo stiffen.

Seeing this tcf!Cale told him "Read."

st!Kim Rok Soo look at tcf!Cale clear strong gaze.

"Continue reading so that this won't happen to you" tcf!Cale firmly said to his alternative self.

st!Kim Rok Soo nods firmly. He had received the message.

'Make sure to protect everyone.'

He suddenly felt as if his hot head was cooling down fast.

He felt as if he had fallen to the bottom of a deep lake covered in ice.

He saw someone down there in the darkness.

He sat down to see everything being destroyed by that large monster.

He could also hear the siren behind him signaling the fact that reinforcements had arrived.

"Finally!" tcf!Toonka angrily shouted as if he was there shouting at the reinforcements.

But everyone knows that those two are dead in the future..

'...You, you-'

And then...

'You-'

Kim Rok Soo was standing there unable to speak properly while Choi Jung Soo was kneeling in front of him with his sword stabbed into the ground.

'What is it, you punk.'

Choi Jung Soo who had no blood left to cough up was jokingly responding as he died.

'I leave it to you.'

He could also see team leader Lee Soo Hyuk close his eyes while leaving the rest to him.

All of his teammates had died just like that.

The place was covered in silence and darkness at that dreadful sentence.

"I will not let that happen" st!Kim Rok Soo promises to himself, and when he makes a promise he will be sure to keep it.

'Mr. Kim Rok Soo! Mr. Rok Soo!'

Once Kim Rok Soo was the only one remaining, he had snapped out of it after someone from the reinforcements team grabbed his shoulder.

'And then, and then I-'

Cale recalled how Kim Rok Soo had acted back then on the battlefield where all of his team members were dying.

He looked once toward team leader Lee Soo Hyuk who had closed his eyes, and then once at Choi Jung Soo who had his head down. After that...

'Here is the status report.'

Something pierced through their heart hearing that hollow voice.

They were once again reminded that this is a person that doesn't know how to express himself.

He looked toward the government officials, guild members, and ability users who had come to fight against this monster and calmly started to speak.

His team leader and his friends had left the rest to him.

'I will explain the fighting patterns of that monster.'

He first explained about the battle. Then he asked the person next to him for something once he stepped back and the reinforcements moved in to fight against the monster because he had no fighting power.

'Please collect their bodies.'

The funeral, the procession, the whispered voices, and the burying flash by tcf!Cale as he closes his eyes.

He felt a hand in his head and another different hand on his shoulder. He opens his eyes as he felt warmer with those comforting hands.

It was because Kim Rok Soo could not move at that time.

He had explained about the monster's abilities with his remaining strength even as his nose continued to bleed. The reinforcements all focused on his explanation, but nobody said anything about wiping his bloody nose.

Kim Rok Soo had felt as if the world was crashing down at that moment.

'...It's too late.'

The reinforcements had been too late.

Boom. Boom.

Cale's heart suddenly ran wild.

The sense of responsibility, anger, and sorrow that had made Kim Rok Soo's heart boil had risen. The things that he had barely managed to suppress deep inside himself were running wild.

"You have every right to be mad!" tboah!Cale shouted in rage, he was mad for the Koreans having to suffer because of incompetent fools.

"Be mad at those incompetent guild leaders!" og!Cale shouted angrily as he plans to hunt those incompetent coward leaders and give them hell once he returns.

Both Korean hyungs smiled proudly at the protective gesture their two new dongsaeng made.

It was at that moment. Human!

"Cale Henituse."

Pat. Pat.

Cale could feel a small paw and a hand placed on his shoulders.

He heard a voice behind him as well. Human, are you okay? I came over because I had a bad feeling.

"I didn't look at the paper. I just thought you seemed off."

Paper?

Everyone perks up at that. What paper?

It was Raon and Alberu Crossman.

Cale blinked his eyes.

The darkness disappeared and he could see the crown prince's bedroom wall again.

The said crown prince blinked. "They were in my bedroom?" He was curious. They're not in the guest room or office room but his bedroom.. why?

He quickly folded and put away the paper with the weird language the God of Death had left for him and turned around.

"It's him!"

"Again!"

Both Cage was cursing reading that letter that come from Death was most probably the reason for the flashbacks.

Meanwhile, "I'm not going to address that! In fact, I saw nothing." tcf!Cale thought feigning deaf and blind.

He could see a concerned Alberu Crossman but not the invisible Raon.

Cale looked at Alberu and started to speak.

"What is it, your highness?"

Cale thought that Alberu Crossman would scoff if he asked this way.

However, he could see that Alberu, as well as the rest of the group at the table, were starting to look at him in a different way than he expected.

All of them had serious expressions on their faces.

"That's alarming if even I become seriously concerned" tcf! Alberu thought as he only does that to those he considers as important and close relationship to him.

Cale made eye contact with Alberu.

"Are you okay?"

Alberu could see Cale's pale white face and his lips that had turned blue.

His forehead was full of cold sweats as well.

He had seen Cale cough up blood or be in pain, but never like this before.

"Why does he make it sound like coughing up blood or being in pain is a recurring event?" tcf!Rasheel asks but then realizes how weak the human is. He clicks his tongue seeing the transmigrator past self.

Everyone sighed, concerned once again for the weak yet strong human.

He seemed like someone who was in shock after seeing something very scary.

Alberu's gaze moved away from Cale's face to the paper in his hand.

He had not seen what was written inside it.

'Just what did he see?'

He was concerned, but Alberu was blocked by Cale's hand.

Both Alberu scoff.

"He's the only one who has the audacity to blocked me like that." They huff in thought.

-Human, human! Are you really okay? Grandpa Ron told me to remember and tell him about it if you even come close to fainting!

"Fainting?"

Everyone looks at tcf!Cale and thought "He's injured, bleeding, and now fainting" They could only sigh in worry.. for now...

In the future, they'll make sure the idiot stops getting himself injured, bleed, nor faint.

Cale could hear Raon's voice. He then started to speak to Alberu who could not come toward him because of his hand as well as the invisible Raon.

"I am okay, but let's talk in a bit. I haven't finished looking at it."

Cale nodded his head to Cage who had jumped up from her chair as well before slowly turning back around.

"Guh! I probably was the one who gave that cursed letter" tcf!Cage hiss at being used to give tcf!Cale something troublesome.

tcf!Taylor gives tcf!Cage a consoling pat.

"...Alright then. I'll wait for you over there." ...I'll let it go for now as well! I'll go wait over there, you weak stupid human!

Cale opened the paper once again after feeling Alberu and Raon moving away.

"So does that mean the letter should not be seen by anyone?"

Everyone thought about it. Since it was given by death then it's somewhat understandable.

5 minutes.

Only five minutes had passed since everything went dark in front of him. No, five minutes had decreased.

Cale recalled Kim Rok Soo's birthday.

He looked at the paper the God of Death delivered to him via Cage. He looked at the decreasing time.

The God of Death had said that it would be time for Cale to choose once that time hit zero.

"Choose? Choose what?" tcf!Cale frowned at the lack of information.

Everyone has the same question.

He thought about the day that the time would run out.

That day was Choi Jung Soo and Kim Rok Soo's birthday. It should also be Choi Jung Gun and Choi Han's birthday as well.

"Oh yeah!" Choi Jung Soo said as if finally remembering something he forgot as he look at tcf!Cale "You punk! How dare you speak to your senior like that!"

tcf!Cale knows who he is talking about.

Choi Jung Soo then looks at both Choi Han "Hello there senior uncle! I'm Choi Jung Soo your nephew once removed!" He happily introduce himself to his paternal uncle once removed.

Both Choi Han was surprised that their theory was correct. They smile.

"It's a pleasure to finally meet a relative of mine"

Both Choi Han was happy to have met Koreans from his world and one of them was a relative of his.

"But isn't Choi Han hyung a teenager?" tcf!Lock asks surprised at the information.

"No, I'm actually older" tcf!Choi Han clarifies "I aged slowly."

Some were surprised that a human could live longer. While some formed theories in their mind.

Cale had to decide on that day.

'How cruel.'

He couldn't think of anything else to say.

He finished reading what was written on the paper.

He was right.

Choi Jung Soo was not supposed to die at that time.

Team leader Lee Soo Hyuk and the other team members should not have died then either.

tcf!Cale inhales sharply. "No one was supposed to die.."

tcf!Cale and st!Kim Rok Soo then remembers how Choi Jung Soo choose to save him as grief and anger swells upon him.

"You-"

"I'm not sorry!" Choi Jung Soo cut them off.

They glare at him.

"I-I mean" he took a deep breath "I won't regret that decision so I'm sure my other self feels the same way."

He then give them a steel-determined gaze "look, whatever I and my other self choose, it was our choice, don't let it become your burden. Please don't deny me and my other self resolve."

"Mmph!"

Both tcf!Cale and st!Kim Rok Soo stifled a gasp. His message is clear: 'I and my other self didn't make that choice to become a weight that you should carry. I and my other self made that choice so that you could live happily not carrying burdens.'

tcf!Cale close his eyes as he absorbed those words. For Choi Jung Soo to say something like that.. he really can't deny him that or else he'd be disregarding Choi Jung Soo resolved and most importantly it will make Choi Jung Soo who did choose to save his life sadden.

"But you won't make the same decision because I won't let that happen now that we know" st!Kim Rok Soo said as a promise.

"Of course!" Lee Soo Hyuk agrees, he will protect everyone including himself so no one will have nightmares "and being alive is the best."

Choi Jung Soo grin happily and st!Kim Rok Soo let out a small smile.

tcf!Cale also let out a small smile "They won't die" he was satisfied just knowing that.

And then...

Everyone is worried knowing the nature of the transmigrator, he might choose to die for others.

They worriedly look at both tcf!Cale and st!Kim Rok Soo who has a blank expression.

'I can't die either.'

"Of course" st!Kim Rok Soo said. With all the things he now needed to do, he can't just go and die.

"Being alive is the best" tcf!Cale agrees with his counterpart using the line he knew and engraved in his heart.

As everyone sighed in relief.

Cale's eyes lit up.

Those people should not have died that day.

He could not die either.

In addition, his people in this world could not die as well.

Everyone pause. They were so absorbed in the information that they did not address that until it was mentioned.

They look at tcf!Cale since the paper was addressed to him.

"Well, we're already reading so doesn't really matter" tcf!Cale just shrugged.

Everyone unanimously agrees.

Cale folded the paper and put it in his inner pocket.

He then turned around.

Cale could see priestess Cage cautiously starting to speak.

"Young master-nim, was it bad news?"

"It's more than bad news" tcf!Paseton thought as he recalls all the horrible information that was supposed to be read by the young master alone. "He would've carried that heavy information alone" He feel sad at knowing that.

She had copied down the image the God of Death had shown her, but she could not read or comprehend it.

She couldn't even tell if they were images or words.

It was a message from the God of Death that was meant only for Cale.

The others had either nervousness or concern on their faces as they looked toward Cale after hearing Cage's question. Cale answered without any hesitation.

"Let's just..."

The group could see that Cale's eyes were burning up contrary to his pale face.

'Decision?

He wants me to decide when the White Star is running wild?

Who will be able to do something if I'm not involved?'

tcf!Cale scowl. He needs to be the one to destroy the White star he thought as he look at Raon.

'Avoid it?

Run away?'

It was one thing if they all ran away together, but he would never run away on his own.

Everyone smile.

They felt warm because of this magnificent person that is too good for this world.

Cale did not hide his anger as he continued to speak.

"Let's just ignore it."

The original, 'The Birth of a Hero,' didn't exist anymore.

tcf!Cale scoffed at that. "With all the nonsense that I read yeah that novel doesn't exist anymore."

"The original means our timeline" tboah!Alberu said.

The tboah side, The Birth of a Hero. Everyone thought.

It doesn't take a genius to realize it.

"Huh? Why is it us?" tboah!Toonka asks not understanding.

But it does take a muscle brain to not realize it.

Cale planned to live however he wanted to live.

Cale responded to Alberu who cautiously asked.

Almost everyone can't believe what tcf!Cale just said.

"Oh, I know human!" Raon said confidently "since I'm a smart and mighty dragon, I know you're the type to make a small mess into a bigger mess!"

"What crazy thing is he talking about?" tcf!Cale ignored it.

"...What?"

Cale knew that he was selfish and bad and that he cherished people who were important to him the most.

"Cherishing people who are important to you are considered selfish and bad?" tcf!Mary ask not understanding how it was bad.

"I think that's just the young master's thought" as tcf!Tasha sighed pitying tcf!Cale.

"I plan to use overwhelming strength to destroy everything."

He liked fighting battles where he had an overwhelming advantage.

"Aah and here I thought you mean your weak body when you said overwhelming strength." og!Cale teasingly said looking at tcf!Cale.

tcf!Cale was about to ignore him like usual but pause.

As he saw og!Cale and tboah!Cale feeding st!Kim Rok Soo with steaks.

Then he decidedly ignored all of it.

That was when his people would not get hurt.

"Haven't you already been doing that?"

"You've always been making small mess into a bigger mess?" the crown prince of the Roan Kingdom asks already dreading his future headache.

"Oh yes he did" Lee Soo Hyuk lovingly said with a smirk.

"Preach!" Choi Jung Soo was laughing his heart out.

tcf!Cale and st!Kim Rok Soo has a delinquent face.

Cale smiled at Alberu's response.

"I plan to do it even more."

"...What a disrespectful smile."

Cale pretended not to hear Alberu's comment.

"... What a disrespectful person" tcf!Alberu commented.

tcf!Cale also pretended not to hear that.

Chapter 395: The crazy one, the innocent one, and the laughing one (5)

However, Cale did not care about the decreasing time.

Alberu, who was looking at him, started to speak.

"You plan on defeating the White Star with overwhelming strength?"

"Yes, your highness."

Cale's face was completely pale. However, his eyes were more focused and alive than ever before. Then there was this short but confident response.

Alberu nodded his head.

"Then that's great."

Cale didn't pay much attention to that comment as he started to walk back to the chair he had been sitting on. Human, you seem okay, but hurry up and go eat one of the apple pies in the basket! You cannot faint! I'm going to tattle to grandpa Ron, Goldie gramps, Choi Han, Beacrox, and good girl Mary!

"A basket of apple pies! That's a great idea!, Human! I'll store up lots of apple pies so you won't faint from hunger!" Raon said to tcf!Cale while shoving apple pies at st!Kim Rok Soo.

As tcf!Cale sees them "... Why does it feel like that would be my future," He thought as he decidedly ignored it too.

He almost chuckled at Raon's voice in his mind.

He then heard Alberu's voice as well.

"So how do you plan on defeating the White Star with ove- huh?"

However, Alberu could not finish his question.

He reached out his hand.

He could see Cale starting to stumble.

"Is the young master going to faint again?" tcf!Litana asks in deep concern.

As everyone was also worried.

"Young master Cale!"

"Young master-nim!"

The people who had nervously been looking at him with concern all jumped up. Human!

Raon quickly charged toward Cale and used his head to support Cale's falling body. He also reached his two front paws out to help support Cale's upper body.

"Why wasn't I there again?" tcf!Eruhaben was upset as he was worried about the chi-transmigrator.

"Hey! You!"

The shocked Alberu's hand grabbed the falling Cale's arm.

Ooooooong-

Alberu could see red mana quickly surrounding Cale at the same time. It was Rosalyn's mana.

She had quickly cast her mana to support Cale.

"Good job." The golden dragon thought "She should learn more about casting mana."

"...Ha...Damn it."

Cale looked shocked. Human! Why do you have such an expression when you were about to faint?! You really are a weak and stupid human!

"Stupid Human!"

"Dumb Dumb Cale nya!"

On just sigh, as she looks at tcf!Cale and shake her head.

tcf!Cale felt that he'd been wronged by what the children said, of course, he felt the most damage from On sigh.

Raon slowly moved his round head and chubby front paws away from supporting Cale after seeing Rosalyn's red mana surround Cale and started to nag.

Cale's upper body had curled forward as he was about to fall so only Raon had seen his shocked expression.

'What the...?'

Cale was confused.

'What is going on with me?'

He could not understand why his body was stumbling like this.

"Is he even eating properly over there?" tboah!Beacrox thought as he look at tcf!Cale and st!Kim Rok Soo with a frown.

"I should feed him more so he won't easily stumble." tcf!Beacrox held determination as he looks at tcf!Cale and st!Kim Rok Soo.

He had not used any of his ancient powers nor his ability.

He wasn't dizzy and his body wasn't heating up with a severe fever.

He didn't feel like he was going to vomit either.

"Why does it feel like what he all said was a usual normal thing?"

Everyone is unsettled as another was added to the list of worries for the transmigrator's health.

'But why is there no strength in my body?'

Cale followed the gentle movement of the red mana as it slowly laid him down. The red mana then slowly moved him to the couch.

Cale could finally see the others once the mana lifted his upper body back up. Alberu bluntly commented as they made eye contact.

"I knew it would be like this. Your face was a mess. Tsk."

All of them looked as if they had expected Cale to faint. He knew Raon probably had a similar expression even though he couldn't see him.

"...But I am fine."

"Most underrated comment ever!" tcf!Bud said which earn him a glare from the redhead.

Alberu looked toward Rosalyn after hearing Cale's comment and Rosalyn smiled as she responded.

"You're driving me nuts."

"Please don't let that be my catchphrase" tcf!Alberu thought in misery as he feel like he will be using that sentence quite a lot when it involve the transmigrator.

Cale flinched.

Alberu didn't care and pointed to the bed.

"Lay him down there. The couch is not very comfortable."

"As you wish, your highness."

Rosalyn moved her hand and the red mana laid Cale down on the bed.

"She has a lot of potential how she manipulates her mana" tcf!Eruhaben hums in thought.. of course, he's not going to teach her just because of that.. he'll do whatever he like..

Cale laid there and looked at the ceiling.

'What's wrong with me?'

He heard two voices at that moment.

"Look at how pale you are. What scared the mighty Cale Henituse?"

One of them was Alberu. It looks like your body got shaken up for a moment from fear and horror.

The other was the Scary Giant Cobblestone.

"Giant Cobblestone?" tcf! Dodori was once again interested at the mention of stone as he remember the Guardian Knight of Boulder Mountain the amazing hero.

"Will the transmigrator also be an amazing hero?" He glows at that thought.

tcf!Cale shudders as cold sweat runs down his spine.

Cale became even more shocked after hearing their comments.

'I'm afraid of something? Really?

I, of all people, reacted because of fear?'

He could not believe it.

He'd accept it if it was because of anger, but he was not afraid.

tcf!Cale also could not believe it.

He was someone who doesn't lose strength because of fear. "I mean I need strength if I want to hide or run away from strong enemies."

But Cale had no choice but to accept his current condition after raising his hand and putting it on his forehead.

His hand was slightly shaking while his forehead was covered with sweat.

It was no wonder people were saying that he was scared.

'What am I scared about?'

Cale did not need to think long to recall the records of the past he saw when everything had turned black.

"Ha!"

Cale scoffed in disbelief. Human! Why are you laughing? Something is definitely weird! This is not the time to laugh! Human, you look like you are in critical condition! You are laughing when you are hurt! You can't go crazy too!

"I don't want a crazy human! But! If you did go crazy I'll have no choice but lock you up and never stay away from your side while looking for a cure!" The cute dragon commented.

Cale was at a loss for words after hearing Raon's comments.

tcf!Cale was also at a loss for words at both Raon's comments.

This six-years-old black Dragon was really good at putting him at a loss for words. However, this helped Cale calm down. His body then soon returned to normal.

Cale heard someone cautiously calling out to him at that moment.

"Excuse me..."

Cale turned his head to see an expression he had never seen on Cage's face before. She was hesitating unlike her usual self and cautiously asked.

"To be acting like that, my other self must have been close to the transmigrator," the excommunicated priestess thought as she wondered how did that happen.

"That, did it really not have anything serious written on it?"

Cage was asking once again if the note had anything bad or serious written on it.

That question made everybody look toward Cale.

"Mm."

Cale contemplated for a moment and Cage quickly added on.

"Of course, you don't have to share because you were told to look at it alone! It is your personal problem, young master Cale. I know you said that you were going to ignore the contents, but I was just curious if it said something serious on it."

Priestess Cage's actions were so cautious that Cale decided to share his honest sentiments.

"Mm, not really?"

"Seriously!?" tboah!Cale shouted in disbelief.

Everyone agreed to that sentiment.

Cage hesitated for a moment before calmly asking once more.

"Then can you tell us at least a little bit of that not so serious note?"

Cale debated for a moment.

'Well, the God of Death never said to keep it a secret. I guess I can tell them a portion without telling them the important parts?'

It did say that the paper would burn if he showed it to others, but that wasn't saying he couldn't tell them about it as long as he didn't show the paper to them.

"Loopholes! I like it!" tboah!Bud said approving at how smart the transmigrator is.

"He'll make a great partner in crime" tcf!Bud was having a great thought.

Cale looked toward the others.

He could see the concerned expressions in the eyes of everyone surrounding him.

They would probably worry even more if he hid everything. That was why Cale decided to be honest about at least a portion of it.

'First of all, I can't tell them about my relationship with Choi Jung Gun, Choi Jung Soo, and Choi Han. I can't talk about Kim Rok Soo either. I also can't tell them about how I will need to make a decision on that day.'

Again, what decision!?

Everyone always asks that question whenever the decision was brought up. But no answer so far... They were anxious if it involved the transmigrator sacrificing himself.

After taking out couple of different shocking details, Cale casually commented on one of the few remaining pieces of information.

"He said I was supposed to die."

No sound was heard as everyone was flabbergasted by what the idiot choose to tell them casually.

Silence filled the room at that moment.

Cale recalled a portion of what the God of Death had told him.

'Mm, yeah. That's probably the least shocking thing to tell them.'

Cale had a satisfied expression on his face after telling his friends a portion of it as he was still telling them the truth.

As everyone looks at tcf!Cale.

The dam burst out.

Everyone let out their frustration.

"What!?"

"What the actual f-!"

"Excuse me!? How was that the least shocking!?"

"Are you kidding me!"

"For crying out loud!"

"You're driving me nuts"

Various complaints were said.

Meanwhile, why are they acting like this?" Both tcf!Cale and st!Kim Rok Soo thought.

"You punk! Why are you looking so lost like you have no idea what is going on!?"

Everyone paused at what Choi Jung Soo said. Their eyes zeroed in on tcf!Cale.

"But I won't die." tcf!Cale said like it was obvious as st!Kim Rok Soo nods supporting him.

"It said I was supposed to die but I didn't" he continues "and I don't plan to."

"That's right human! With me by your side, you won't be in any danger!"

tcf!Cale nod and said confidently "I have a lot of strong allies."

Everyone finally calms down hearing that, as the said allies feel proud to be relied on.

"That's right, they would do most of the works" tcf!Cale thought. He could already imagine his slacker life. Smirk.

"Pyah!"

...!

"Oh, you revived" was said in the most I don't care tone.

The slime was once again dejected. But it continued.

"Pyah" "Pyah" "Pyah"

Everyone frowned as the slime said that the Earth 2 Koreans have to go back to the other room.

"Mind and tell us why they can't just stay here?" tcf! Eruhaben asks as he knows these Koreans give tcf!Cale happiness.

"P-Pyah" "Pyah" Pyah"

"So you're saying if we stay long with them the 'law' will find out and destroy this place?" st!Kim Rok Soo doesn't particularly care if this place gets destroyed but it's a different matter if they get caught up in the destruction. And also..

"We need this place to get information" tcf!Cale voice out st!Kim Rok Soo's thought. As much as he wants to deny this place, it did become useful to them.

"..."

Silence filled the room.

"Hey! it's fine, for all we know there's another error and we get to be sent back here!" Choi Jung Soo said laughing as he reassure them.

"That's right, but before we leave I want to say this now" Lee Soo Hyuk looks at tcf!Cale "remember what my alternative said in the first information?"

tcf!Cale record plays back.

'Oh, by the way, the original owner of your body is living well too. He's happy. That is why Jung Soo, I, and everybody is happy.'

"He said everyone was happy!" Choi Jung Soo said smiling brightly at tcf!Cale.

Yes," Lee Soo Hyuk continues "so believe in what my other self said" he grabs tcf!Cale shoulder, grip it and look him in the eyes.

"They are happy," he said with a strong gaze and grin.

"So live happily!" Lee Soo Hyuk declared.

"Enjoy life!" Choi Jung Soo emphasizes.

"Be a slacker" st!Kim Rok Soo gives his wishes.

Lee Soo Hyuk and Choi Jung Soo snort at that but didn't dismiss nor deny it.

"Yeah.." tcf!Cale once trembling eyes finally settled in place and smiles at them as he continue to say the next with resolution.

"I will." He'll live happily, enjoy life, and be a slacker.

They were satisfied seeing tcf!Cale expression.

They let out bright smiles as the light blinded the room.

And as the light disappeared so did the three Koreans.

"Human!" Raon shouted in alarm.

og!Cale grab hold of tcf!Cale before he falls and sits him on the couch with a serious worried look. As the children surrounded tcf!Cale.

Everyone looks at tcf!Cale and most of them panic at what they saw.

"What?" tcf!Cale frown wondering why they're acting like this. He know that the strength of his legs just gave out as he felt relieved.

"Y-You're crying!" tboah!Cale worriedly said.

tcf!Cale was surprised as he reach out his cheek and feel the water that was pouring out.

"I'm not sad.. but why am I crying?" He asks confused at the tears.

... Ah..

"Haha," he chuckled as he realized that this tears is from happiness and relief.

Everyone flinch as they don't know why he was laughing as he cry. But then felt at ease at what tcf!Cale said next.

He felt like a heavy weight was finally released from him.

"I feel like I could finally move forward."

He smiles.

But let's just say those three bonded really well during their stay at the other room (especially how CJS and LHS keep feeding KRS) (ﾉ≧ڡ≦) Teehee~!. Also, CJS already loves tcf!Cale and formed a strong bond through st!KRS, and what he read and saw in the other room about tcf!Cale.
