They we're disappointed.

Just as they were about to voice out their disappointment-

"This place is really identical"

"Yes but minus the glass-like wall"

Two identical elegant voices said behind the Cales.

They immediately got up and look behind.

Everyone looks at the two small children wearing a cloak that covers their body had elegantly flies down and sits on the couch like they own it.

"Who are you?" tboah!Cale demanded all while hugging On.

"No, what are you?" og!Cale corrected the question while hugging Hong.

The figure smirks.

"You three have such delicious blood," one figure said looking at the Cales.

"Especially you" the next figure add-on addressing tcf!Cale.

A vampire. Everyone thought.

"May I have a sip?"

The vampires said with a bright smile as they look at the Cales.

"What?" The Cales started to get goosebumps looking at the vampires' smile that looked somewhat decadent. "Great, another crazy"

"What funny thing you're saying, sir," a chilling benign voice said.

"Do you wish to know what a dragon fear feels like?"

"Human! Those vampires look like someone who has gone crazy! So don't give him any of your blood!"

Meow!

Some were flabbergasted.

And some vicious aura was coming out of a lot of different people.

It was at that moment.

A sharp short sword was embedded in the glass-like wall.

As everyone looks who that belongs to.

"Tsk." A cute little girl clicks her tongue as the mother beside her glows with pride.

"Hey slime let me in there for just a moment"

"I want to have a 'nice' talk with them"

Both Lily said with a prim and proper smile while unsheathing their sword.

The Cales doesn't know what to feel when they are being protected by their baby sister. "and how many short sword did the slime gift them?"

"Fine, fine."

The Vampires' pseudo-appeases them looking very amused.

"Our name is Naru Von Ejellan" They introduce themselves.

A noble name. Everyone thought that these vampires is someone distinguish.

"I'm from the tboah side," the figure on the left said.

"And I'm from the tcf side," the figure on the right said.

"From the Endable Kingdom," they both finished with that introduction.

That got everyone's attention.

It's the Kingdom that they needed to know more about.

The sacrifice.

The summoning.

Cale's suffering.

They remember everything that will happen there.

"If you're here and if what the slime said is true then your an ally"

Their thoughts were interrupted by what tcf!Cale said.

"But I won't give anything for free" tboah!Naru didn't confirm nor deny anything.

"Why don't you make a deal with me?" tcf!Naru said smiling.

"He won't give you his blood!" tcf!Raon angrily shouted as tcf!Cale holds him tightly. tcf!Cale patted him to keep him calm.

Another sword was embedded with precise aim but alas the glass-like wall was not shattered... yet.

"Why are the Henituse woman so vicious?" Some thought. While all the men in the Henituse are sweating bullets.

"Don't worry that's not what I'm going to ask, for now"

The Vampires were once again amused.

"What do you mean 'for now'?" The Cales doesn't like that.

"Want to be my son?"

Both Naru said at the same time looking at their sides Cale.

"What crazy thing!?"

As the Cales look indecorous.

"Of course, he doesn't want to" the golden dragon scoffed. He then fake coughs "Ahem, and if they ever need a father figure I'm more than capable enough" he confidently declares.

"Oh ho but the young masters already have a father figure" the assassin coveys that he was the one they saw as a father figure.

"I'm their only father!" The Count said in an outburst. "And I'm my sons f-father figure!"

"Why are they being like this?" The Caleplets thought.

"Tiny, you can't be a father!" Raon said in resentment. He still didn't forget how that vampire ask for his humans' blood.

"Oh? Then" The vampires made a slight movement in their covered body "how about in this form?"

"That's!"

Everyone was surprised. The young child was no longer there but was replaced by an adult form with the same hair and eye color.

"You can change your form?" tboah!Cale asks in shock but then he pauses and considers "No.."

"That's your real appearance" tcf!Cale continues what tboah!Cale was going to say.

"And that child form must be you when you were younger" og!Cale was convinced that what tcf!Cale said is right as he feels the pressure the Duke was giving off was intense.

"Yes, as expected of my sons. I am addressed as Duke Fredo Von Ejellan in this form"

"You can call me father, my sons"

Both Duke Fredo mischievously said.

tcf!Cale ignored that as he ask "Duke?"

"You have a system there" tboah!Cale concluded.

"Yes, and you know who is the king"

The Cales deducted.

"And you're betraying him, why?" og!Cale asks not completely trusting this so-called ally.

"That's a good question son"

"I am a Vampire who knows about grace and pride"

"That's why I won't serve anyone"

Both Duke Fredo declares.

"So you want to become King there?" tcf!Toonka

Duke Fredo smile as he looks at the Cales. "I need you to disguise as my son, Naru"

"He's avoiding the question," the smart people thought.

"You want me to pretend to be your son to infiltrate the Kingdom"

The Cales comes to that conclusion and they don't like it.

"As expected of my son, you really do take after me"

The Duke said satisfied. As every father figure glares at him.

"Well, good luck you two" og!Cale happily foists that troublesome task on them.

Which earns him a glare from both of them. Then it turned mischievous.

"Now what do you mean by that hyung~"

"Don't abondon your dongsaeng now"

tboah!Cale and tcf!Cale hiss in menace.

"Wha-! Heck no! I don't want some troublesome dongsaeng!" og!Cale knows full well his younger self is a headache and the transmigrator is a huge trouble magnet. So yeah no thank you!

The Caleplets started to bicker.

"My aren't we a lovely family"

The Duke happily said.

Which earns them a glare from a lot of people.

Before they could even discuss more-

"Pyah!" the slime splashed like water.

"Well then why don't we watch it together"

"Come and sit son, it'll be hard to watch while standing"

Both Duke patted said as they beckon the Cales to sit.

The Cales think about the pros and cons of sitting with them.

They look at each other and shrug as they sit down. They unanimously don't want to suffer standing. The Calediots' laziness win.

But the children made sure to come between the vampires and their humans.

Chapter 532: Mountain after mountain 5

"Sounds like you've been causing trouble after trouble" og!Cale was obviously addressing tcf!Cale.

"Piling up mountains of headache" tboah!Cale declares with absolute confidence.

"Well, what else is new?"

They both said at the same time.

They look at each other and high-five. "Jinks!"

Which tcf!Cale looks sullen.

While both Duke was amused at the display.

The son's shoulders were slightly shaking as he looked at his loving father, his only family member, being in pain like this.

The teasing atmosphere halted.

The Cales frown.

"That's not a good start"

They were now worried about which father was injured and who is that son.

Naru had this thought on his mind.

"No.." tcf!Cale thought dreading where this was going.

"That voice" og!Cale said recognizing the voice as he look at tcf!Cale.

Everyone also recognized it.

"I guess it means you accepted, my son" tcf!Duke Fredo has a satisfied smile.

Which tcf!Cale and tboah!Cale makes a face.

He felt as if he would laugh in disbelief.

"Pretending to be a son of a crazy vampire, of course, he wants to laugh in disbelief" the golden dragon scoffed. He would be a much better choice. It's because he's a mighty being!

"That's right, that's right" the Count nodded agreeing with what the ancient dragon said.

Holding back that laughter was making his shoulders shake.

But the people who did not know this were just looking at him with pitying eyes.

"Everyone was pitying the young master for pretending to be a son of the vampire" the assassin butler firmly believe he was the only father figure of the young master.

"That's why I won't leave him ever (again)"

"That's right, that's right" the Count nodded agreeing with what Ron said.

The eyes of the two people who were standing in the hallway just outside the bedroom were extremely teary.

The people who came with the White Star were people Cale knew as well.

It was the woman wearing the black armor and riding on the black horse.

The other was the Dark Elf old man.

"Ah so you will meet Count Hubesa and Count Mock"

"Who are those two?" tboah!Cale asks.

"I'll tell you more if you agree to come to our castle" tboah!Duke Fredo smiled as he said those.

tboah!Cale frown. He then smirks "I don't need to, I'm sure that I can get the information here"

tboah!Duke Fredo's smile falters a bit but then he recovers.

"But do remember that not all information is given"

Which made tboah!Cale's smirk turns to a scowl. "I should ask Cale how to do that glib tongue but minus the flirty part" He wants to be annoying to others not to flirt.

The two of them were in their regular outfits instead of their battle outfits.

The Dark Elf old man started to speak.

"I always feel this way, but Naru does not seem to be like Duke Fredo-nim at all."

There was a bit of sneer in his eyes as he said that before it disappeared.

"What does he mean?" tcf!Witira asks curiously.

"Has he already been exposed?" tcf!Paseton was worried as the young master was in the enemy territory.

"No, I just made that form loved by all." tcf!Duke Fredo clears out.

"What?"

The Cales ask stupefy.

"Naru is a very respectful and full of class" tboah!Duke Fredo adds with a hint of mischievousness.

"Again, what?"

The Cales once again ask. He wants me to act like that!?

"Don't worry he's smart"

Which didn't ease them.

"And also respects all adults regardless of their title"

"Also a very shy and nice kid"

"He is also pure and his heart is tender"

"He greets everyone with a bright warm smile"

Both Duke happily said all of that as they were amused by the Cales' expression that changes with every word that they said.

"So the exact opposite of me!" The Cales thought. They were about to voice out their complaint but were stopped dumbstruck by Choi Han and Miss Rosalyn's words.

"So Cale-nim just have to be himself" tcf!Choi Han was nodding in confidence as he said that.

"And if the young master Cale only needs to stop pretending to be trash and just be himself" tboah!Rosalyn knows how her side Cale acted as trash for having a tender heart that wants to help his stepfamily.

Everyone nodded.

The Cales was speechless at the nonsense they were uttering.

Smile.

The woman sneered at the Dark Elf old man.

"Why don't you just say it outright instead of beating around the bush?"

"Beating around the bush? I am just telling it as is."

The two of them looked at each other for a moment before looking back at Naru Von Ejellan whose head the White Star was patting.

"Omagosh you're being patted by the white thing!" og!Cale says scandalized.

"Being patted! By the White! Thing!" tboah!Cale repeated hysterically thinking if he accepted he was going to be subjected to that!

tcf!Cale's face has a look with a mixture of disbelief, disgust, and wanting to vomit.

"Oh, I almost forgot to mention that the white star adores Naru" tcf!Duke Fredo mischievously said.

He was enjoying the faces that the Cales were making.

The two of them had the same thought.

'He's weak.'

"Wow, even there your still weak" tcf!Bud said.

"Why is it that except for your original body, any body you assume is always weak" tboah!Bud was obviously saying the original Cale Henituse body is weak.

Which earns him a glare from the Caleplets.

His foundation was weak.

This young boy's body had been weak since he was young, which was why Duke Fredo ordered him to stay in a villa for healing and resting instead of staying in the Endable Kingdom.

"Ah"

The Queen of the Jungle gasped in understanding.

"It's to lessen the suspicion"

She knows that Naru and the Duke are the same people, so she must give credit to how he managed to trick everyone in that Kingdom.

There was a hidden sneer in the Dark Elf old man's mouth.

'The Kingdom has been here for 20 years. Naru has always been weak during that time.'

"20yrs" tcf!Dodori blurted out.

"They successfully hide the Kingdom for a long time" tcf!Mila was a little impressed by keeping the Endable Kingdom a secret from the outside.

Twenty years was a short period of time for Vampires who lived for hundreds of years, but this was the time that the future Vampire leader should be growing.

"How did the Kingdom started?" tcf!Cale nonchalantly asks not really caring just trying to distract himself from that pa-that action that will not be mentioned.

"I will tell you more once you visit me in my castle" tcf!Duke Fredo said.

Which tcf!Cale frowned "I don't really want to know," he thought. He doesn't want to know things that will give him trouble.

However, Naru was the same as the first time they met and had not grown at all.

His body was weak, so his physique was less developed as well.

This was why the Vampires and the citizens of the Endable Kingdom loved Naru's pure innocence and warm demeanor but worried about the kingdom's future.

"Urghh.. I have to act as a that!" tboah!Cale whines "I can't! I'm not pure, innocent, and warm!" He complains, hating everything.

"Same" tcf!Cale and og!Cale nodded their head also thinking that they're not like that.

"But you are."

Nobody believes them.

As the Duke just smiles wickedly.

However, Naru's weakness was a source of joy for at least these two people.

They were all in competition with each other.

The thought of their enemy's future slipping away was enjoyable.

"Blegh, even in there they have politics" tboah!Toonka snort. He rather just punch and let Harol deal with the annoying stuff.

"Let's go in."

"Okay."

The two of them then entered the bedroom.

No matter how they truly felt, they had to look as if they were concerned and upset about the status of their comrade, Duke Fredo.

"Such fake people, this is why I hate politics," the Mercenary King said wanting to drown himself in liquor. Curse that slime for banning alcoholic drinks.

"Mm."

A person who was watching the two of their backs as well as the sight inside the bedroom subconsciously rubbed the back of his hand.

He had slight goosebumps on his hands.

This man was Melundo, the Butler of this residence and one of Duke Fredo's hidden trusted subordinates.

'What an amazing human.'

"For my butler to even acknowledge the human. Well, that human really is amazing seeing him in person" tcf!Duke Fredo thought as he glance at tcf!Cale. He had a high expectations from what he observed.

His gaze had been focused on Cale's back since a while ago.

Vampires were born with talent in stealth and camouflage.

'Even if it is easier to camouflage because he changed his appearance with the Duke-nim's treasure... I didn't expect him to be so talented.'

"Treasure" tcf!Cale's eyes sparkle to life but then they sharpen as he tries to figure out what the treasure looks like.

"It must be something that he is wearing in under that cloak," He thought as he remember the slight movement before the change in appearance.

After all, he should get something in return for all the troubles. Smirk.

He could not hide his shock at Cale who had transformed into their young master Naru.

Cale Henituse and the White Star.

The two of their relationships could be said to be the worst of the worst.

'But he's able to act so sad as if Duke Fredo-nim really is his father even in front of his bitter enemy!'

"Yes act, only act, not a real son to that vampire" after all if anyone is going to be a father figure it will be the awesome and great mighty ancient dragon.

"The young master must be thinking of his real father figure to make a convincing act" of course the assassin is obviously saying that it was him.

"That's right, that's right" the Count agrees. He's the real father!

His mental strength was surprising.

"But his self-esteem was almost nonexistent." tcf! Rasheel pities the unlucky weak human. He should give him tips... It's because he has free time. Yup.

"He was acting as himself being pure and innocent, so of course, they will misunderstand that the young master is a great actor" tcf!Pendrick thought convinced that the young master was too honest that's why he never know how to deceive others.

He heard that this human was twenty years old this year, but how could such a young human use such clever methods?

"In 2yrs again" tboah!Beacrox said thinking how almost all events are always 2yrs in the tcf side timeline.

"Hold on. Does that mean the young master was bleeding and fainting in a short time?" tcf!Beacrox frown not liking that as he gazes at tcf!Cale.

tcf!Cale shudders at that vicious gaze.

"That means all those crazy things that happened was within 2yrs time only!?" tboah!Cale said amazed at the chaos the trouble magnet did.

"I won't be shocked anymore if you made the 20yr old war to only 2yrs" og!Cale said smiling. He was happy that it means his decision was right.

"That's because I have information" tcf!Cale explains nonchalantly. He firmly believes that anyone can do it if they have information. He also is ignoring the earlier sentences.

"It's not just because of it but it's because it's you" tcf!Duke Fredo said chuckling amuse at the humble human.

"But I'm also sure that your counterpart can do that as well" tboah!Duke Fredo look at tboah!Cale with high expectations.

And tboah! Alberu's eyes glitter as he smirks evilly.

"What crazy thing is he saying?" tboah!Cale scoffed at his nonsense.

He turned to look at Solena.

She was already looking at Melundo as well.

The two of them made eye contact and realized that they were both shocked by Cale.

Both of them started to smile.

'We picked the right card.'

'This is beneficial for us.'

Duke Fredo's two trusted subordinates became certain that they had made the right decision.

"The young master is really amazing, not only Clopeh Sekka but some enemies from the Endable Kingdom turn to be allies" tboah!Lock said in awe.

At the mention of Clopeh Sekka, they frown hard.

Except for the Vampire Duke.

"Ah yes, the human who was very interesting" tcf!Duke Fredo said remembering that crazy human at the mention of his name.

"It's a shame that my side Clopeh Sekka was absent" tboah!Duke Fredo also finds the crazy human entertaining.

"Two Clopeh.." The Cales' eyes bulge in horror.

They slowly turned their gazes back toward the back of Naru Von Ejellan, the boy known as Duke Fredo's son... Well, Cale Henituse who had become him.

These two Vampire allies were looking at Cale...

Two enemies were looking at Cale while sneering as well.

Cale who was receiving all these gazes gasped in amazement internally without knowing what was going on behind him.

"They better not be leering at my son!" The protective Count said in an outburst as the Cales splutter at what the Count said.

Hearing the leer "Do they want their eyes gouge out?" The assassin benignly said.

"Whatever form the unlucky human use, I won't let anyone leer at him" the golden dragon declares.

While both Duke was amused by the protective father figures of the humans.

"But of course, if anyone will be the best father figure, it will be me " The Vampires smirk.

'How amazing.'

Cale thought about the armband that should be hidden inside his clothes.

Duke Fredo had said the following about this band.

'This treasure changes my outer appearance and hides all the internal stuff as well. The White Star will not be able to notice your ancient powers.'

The White Star truly did not seem to notice his ancient powers as Fredo had mentioned.

Both Duke inwardly clicks their tongue. They were hoping to show the armband in the near future to gain the human's trust. "I should've been prepared for being exposed" He underestimated the information network of this place.

While tcf!Cale's eyes sparkle finding out the treasure that can even hide his ancient powers.

'That's why he's patting my head like this.'

The sparkle diminished.

Now he's upset.

Tsk.

He was extremely upset.

It was obvious why, given the situation.

The White Star was patting Cale's head not with the left hand that Cale had sent flying in the battle at the Caro Kingdom's Land of Death, but with a new hand.

"As expected from my son, to actually made the white star lose a hand" tcf!Duke Fredo was extremely happy.

tcf!Cale frown. He was getting scared seeing the Duke's face which has a deranged glee.

"I'm excited to see that" tboah!Duke Fredo was hinting that he would be there when tboah!Cale does that.

While tboah!Alberu internally agrees.

tboah!Cale frown. He was getting scared of feeling that there is a sinister plan that is forming that involves him.

'...It'd be weird if I wasn't upset.'

"It really is upsetting" tcf!Cale thought glowering.

Alberu Crossman would probably be laughing if he saw what was going on.

Said crown price was holding back his laughter at Cale's misery.

Meanwhile

"Why would the young master Cale think about His Highness of all people even in that situation?" tcf!Taylor was having an inappropriate conclusion.

Cale suddenly recalled the crown prince who barely managed to hold back his laughter and told him to have a safe trip with a pitying gaze in his eyes when Cale went to report to him prior to leaving.

"Oh, so that's why" tcf!Taylor was repenting for his previous inappropriate conclusion as to why the young master was thinking of his highness.

Cale subconsciously tensed up.

It was because he became extremely annoyed.

Some gave him a pitying gaze.

Some were laughing.

While others are doing both.

A great example is Miss Cage who is wheezing while saying 'poor young master Cale'.

The White Star calmly looked down at him and watched before starting to speak.

"Naru."

Naru Von Ejellan, the boy who was known for being weak but also for being good.

That child was closing his eyes and shaking his shoulders in front of his uncle whom he usually followed very well.

Anybody would find this to be pitiful.

"It's laughable to be misunderstood"

Everyone except the Cales thought.

"It's a good thing we're never subjected to misunderstanding"

The White Star called out in a gentle and low voice.

"Gentle?"

"Impossible. If he truly care for him then that vampire would've been dead by now" tcf!Sheritt said in a stone-cold voice that shows no mercy.

tcf!Raon was in awe at his moth-the dragon lord's viciousness.

"Naru."

The White Star could see his nephew's purple eyes that barely managed to open and look up at him. He was not his blood nephew, but he followed the White Star as if he was his blood uncle.

"Must be hard to even look at your enemy" tcf!Rosalyn said in pity at the young master's situation.

The White Star started to speak to that child.

"I understand what you are thinking. This Eldest Uncle of yours will make Cale Henituse submit, so don't worry."

"...Uncle."

The boy's voice was shaking.

"From annoyment or amusement?" og!Cale asks secretly happy that he won't be subjected to that.

"Both" tcf!Cale finds it annoying to be even near that thing and amusement at that thing's acting trying to be nice and caring.

The White Star nodded his head as if he understood everything.

"Yes, I can feel your heart even without you saying anything else. Cheer up."

"You feel and know nothing" tcf!Cale hiss. He wants to let the white star face be acquainted with the wall repeatedly.

He then moved his hand away from Cale's head and turned toward Duke Fredo.

He looked at Duke Fredo's complexion for a while before starting to speak.

"Duke. I hope that you can recover quickly to join me in achieving our grand vision of the Endable Kingdom."

His voice was calm but honest.

"If I don't know any better that would've fooled me," the Duke said sadly as if he was heartbroken by it.

LIES!

Some thought.

"I will work hard to achieve the great accomplishment that we have been working toward for so long while I wait for you to wake up. So, hurry up and get better."

The White Star's feelings about Duke Fredo seemed to be showing.

'Ha!'

However, Cale scoffed internally while watching him.

'My goodness, it's not even funny.'

He was flabbergasted at the White Star's actions.

Everyone agrees.

"A selfish person like him will never do things for the sake of others" tcf!Tasha might've been convinced with that tone of voice if she didn't know what the atrocious thing the white star did.

The White Star was cursed after breaking the promise between Dragon Lord Sheritt and the Dragon Slayer that had been passed down for generations.

That curse was one that Lord Sheritt had made while making a deal with the God of Death.

He would eternally repeat life and was unable to have anything precious forever.

The White Star was cursed to lose anything he found precious.

Things that were precious to him had to disappear from this world.

"Yes, it's quite shocking to find that out"

"I must thank the dragonlord for giving that explanation"

Both Duke commented as they thank tcf!Sheritt for that valuable information.

'But Duke Fredo and Naru aren't dead.'

That could only mean one thing.

That wasn't even funny.

The White Star did not truly cherish Duke Fredo and Naru.

'He's probably pretending to like them because a loyal Duke and a nephew who listens to him are both easy to use.'

That was why Cale did not trust anything the White Star said with a gentle smile on his face.

'Of course, Duke Fredo thinks that the White Star truly cherishes Naru and himself.'

"Tsk. Tsk. Tsk. It was my slight misjudgment" Duke mockingly click his tongue but he also felt anger. He thought he was playing him but then he finds out that he was the one being played.

Cale did not fix Duke Fredo's misunderstanding.

'...He's the enemy.'

Duke Fredo was not a trustworthy person.

They were just working together, so it wouldn't be weird if their partnership stopped at any moment.

"My, I'm hurt, my son"

"How could you not trust your father?"

Both Duke Fredo clunch their heart as if being hurt by what Cale said.

"As if" tcf!Cale thought deadpan at their antics.

And of course he wouldn't trust someone who is hiding something and with a questionable goal.

'But there is still one thing I gained from this.'

Cale had realized something based on Duke Fredo's attitude.

'The White Star must not have told his subordinates about his curse.'

He felt as if he could use this information to his advantage in the future.

"Too bad you can't use it on me now"

The Duke said teasingly yet sharply at tcf!Cale.

Tsk. tcf!Cale clicks his tongue being reminded that the information is both a help and a nuisance to him.

"Then Naru, Uncle is leaving now."

Cale, who was debating how to use this information to smack the White Star from behind, looked toward him in shock.

The White Star opened his arms as if he felt pity for the blanking Cale.

tcf!Cale also has a blank face.

He doesn't like where this was going.

And he's having a hard time processing(accepting) this.

"Naru. Let's say goodbye before I leave."

"...Uncle?"

"Yes."

The White Star smiled brightly while opening his arms.

"It can't be, right?" og!Cale said as he pales having an idea where this was going.

"Please don't let it be" tboah!Cale plead as he was imagining himself in that situation.

The Cales made denial noises and expressions.

They then look scandalized because they said the same thing and other people than himself dared to say that.

However, he had to start speaking.

He used the information he heard from Solena and Duke Fredo to speak to them properly.

"Urghhh" tboah!Cale keeps suffering just imagining being in that situation, being formal and all.

"Again, why are they being like this?" The Cales had a deadpan face looking at the bickering adults.

It was at that moment.

"Do put both Duke Fredo back where he belongs"
