Chapter 352: Tears 1
They wince.
Tears
Of whom?
A question that they don't want an answer.
"...How tiring."
Cale patted his shoulder with his hand.
Harris Village.
Cale had traveled to Harris Village. He had left on his own without telling anybody, so there might be chaos at the Lord's Castle right about now...
"It's all fake. So, it doesn't matter."
'Doesn't matter.'
'It is fake. It is not real.'
It was heart-wrenching to hear him doing his best to comfort himself.
To let him suffer this alone.
The somber atmosphere that surrounds them swells as they continue to read what the kind-hearted soul was experiencing throughout this test.
Cale repeated those phrases to himself as he looked in front of him.
He could see a tall stone wall in front of him.
This stone wall was created to separate the Forest of Darkness and Harris Village, as well as to protect the Henituse territory from the mutant monsters of the Forest of Darkness.
If.
If Raon was here right now.
'Human, human! Are we going to our house? Are we going to see everyone? I want to see them all!'
Cale started to frown.
"I should buy him an apple pie."
"Yes human! I love apple pie! Let's get more and more of it!" As he shoves some apple pie in tcf!Cale's mouth.
As tcf!Cale chews the sweet treat he doesn't realize that his heart has somehow settled and comforted with every bite.
A sweet remembrance that what he was reading is all a test.
A fake.
And he will make sure it remains a fake.
Cale thought about things he would do after finishing the test as he stood in front of the castle wall.
Crackle.
Cale quietly observed the small rose gold thunderbolt on top of his palm.
"...How odd."
The cheapskate.
The rose gold light of the Fire of Destruction was definitely on Cale's palm, however, he could not hear the cheapskate's voice no matter how hard he tried.
This was the same for the Indestructible Shield, the Scary Giant Cobblestone, and the Sound of the Wind.
None of them were responding to Cale.
tcf!Cale frown, he doesn't know how to feel knowing there aren't any voices in his head.
They do give him a sense of comfort from time to time.
Especially when he is alone.
And when his records of past grief came to visit.
Somehow those voices of the ancient power sometimes let him get out of that sea of grief.
Cale lifted his head up.
Swoooooosh- Swooooooosh-
Wind gathered at the tips of his feet.
His body soon shot up into the air. He could see the lush forest once he flew up to the top of the stone wall.
The Forest of Darkness.
[]
He got rid of the Sound of the Wind once he got there and slowly started to walk into the cave.
The book was still in his hand.
Cale started to speak.
"...The first place the White Star personally appeared during the final battle was the Henituse territory, and then, and then-"
"Shit."
Cale couldn't help but cuss.
Both Lily who was crying in her family's embrace was thinking about his Oraboni.
When she first heard that her family including her died. She cried.
Cried for the family that she lost.
And to find out that her Oraboni was the only one left. She cried even harder.
For the older brother that they left behind.
She wanted to be a knight.
A knight that would protect her country.
A knight that would protect her family.
She doesn't want this!
She doesn't want to let her family die.
To let her Oraboni and Oppa be alone!
So she promises herself.
She would become stronger.
To live.
So that she could protect her family.
He opened the book.
He could not remember the contents.
He made a guess and turned to a page.
Ah...
We are the same.
In these test, og!Cale thought "his greatest fear is my greatest failure"
The failure to protect his land.
The failure to protect his family.
And the only way he could protect them is to not be there.
To not be by their side.
To replace himself with someone better.
And how he felt guilt for putting those burdens on him.
But he is stubborn.
He did not regret his decision, if it meant for his family to be safe then he will be worst than trash.
"I am trash" is the real him that he believed.
Cale's former team leader Lee Soo Hyuk's voice popped up in his mind.
'Hey, rookie. How come you can remember anything you want to remember after seeing it once, but never remember anything you don't want to remember as if you have amnesia?'
"That's actually good."
That thought passes through tcf!Rasheel.
"Well it's bad.." he corrected but for the transmigrator who has been through a lot, he thinks it's better to not always be reminded and be hunted by the dreadful past.
Cale walked through the cave path that was lit up by a magic light as he looked through the book.
He could not read this book well.
He could not remember the contents of this book very well.
[]
Tap. Tap.
Only his footsteps could be heard in this cave.
His footsteps slowed down as he continued to walk.
He had run from the Lord's Castle to the Forest of Darkness and even to this cave entrance faster than anybody else.
However, when heading to the place that should be at the end of this cave... Cale's footsteps heading toward the Super Rock Villa continued to slow down.
He kept thinking about what would be waiting for him there.
Of course, Cale knew he needed to go.
He knew he needed to finish this test as soon as possible.
He knew that there were people waiting for him in the real world.
Real world.
That's always a comfort to tcf!Cale, knowing that all of these that they were reading was merely a test.
A fake world.
.
.
Is it?
He questions as he remembers those different worlds.
Worlds just like where his team leader, brother, and his self.
Making him question if that fake test was actually real but in a different world.
...
Doesn't matter
He will make sure it won't happen in his world.
"...But still."
Cale stopped walking.
His voice was calm.
"I can't be like this."
Cale clenched his fists. His face did not have any emotions on it. He slammed down with a closed fist.
Pow!
Cale slammed down on his thighs and legs that had stopped moving.
He then continued to talk to himself.
"I can't be like this."
He was slowing down.
Ah
Picturing that scene hurts.
tcf!Sherrit felt a sting to see the young master so vulnerable.
He was slowing down when every moment was pressing. He was slowing down when there was a mountain load of things to do. How could he stop here?
This was not something that Cale Henituse, no, Kim Rok Soo should be doing.
Pow, pow!
"Human! Stop hurting yourself!" Sniff
"Stop Cale"
"Just.. Stop.."
The children can't handle this anymore.
Seeing their very precious human hurt.
And they want to erase all that pain.
He continued to slam down on his tired thighs that did not want to keep walking. However, his expression remained stoic.
'Kim Rok Soo, I...I.'
That voice though sound older it was the voice that they know.
The voice of a reliable headstrong Korean that they met.
And it hurt to hear how vulnerable it is.
With just that sentence they know that what they will read will bring more anguish.
He heard his former team leader Lee Soo Hyuk's voice in his mind.
It was something he remembered even though he hated it.
'Will you shut your trap?'
'Shut what? Well, looks like I'll be shutting up for all eternity in a moment.'
'...Please don't speak nonsense either.'
'I'll say what I want to say. Kim Rok Soo, hey Rok Soo.'
'...What is it?'
'I leave it to you. Got it?'
'...I thought you told me to be a slacker?'
'Hey, have you ever seen anything in the world go the way you want it to go? You, cough! Anyway...I, I leave it to you, Rok Soo. Hey Rok Soo. Take care of things for me.'
"That's just like him"
tcf!Cale thought helplessly with an unmeasurable fondness.
It hurt remembering these events.. but he met them again and that lessen the pain of remembering. Even though they are someone from a different world, they're still the hyungs that he knows and love.
Meeting them gave him the courage to face this.
'Damn it.'
Cale stood up straight again.
He then started to walk once again.
His steps that had slowed down before coming to a halt had returned to their normal speed once again.
The voices of the people in other departments who were speaking without knowing he was there were going through his mind.
'Hey. That snake Kim Rok Soo didn't even cry when the person who saved his life died. How can someone be so emotionless?'
'...Who knows. At least team leader Lee Soo Hyuk picked a good successor before he left. Kim Rok Soo is very good at his job.'
'He may be an emotionless bastard, but at least he is good at his job.'
Shut up!
Shut up you b***!
A ranging emotion build on everyone at those ******** who know nothing but talk.
They wish to go there and let them really know what anguish really is.
An emotionless Cale walked toward the end of the cave.
The thing he feared the most.
Cale knew what that was, however, it was fake this time.
"That is why it doesn't matter."
tcf!Cale agrees with himself.
This test is fake.
He ignored the fact that he keep repeating that in his head as if a mantra to ground himself.
Cale said that to himself as he continued to walk.
Tap. Tap.
He was walking in a set cadence as he continued without any hesitation. Cale could finally see the end of the path.
A brighter light than the dim magic lights located periodically inside the path could be seen.
Cale walked into the light.
"It looks the same."
It was exactly the same.
It looked exactly like the last time Cale saw the Super Rock Villa.
That was why he was able to walk into the villa with a more relaxed demeanor.
He then opened the room doors one by one.
"Ha, haha-"
He then started to laugh.
They wince at that empty laughter.
A laugh full of indescribable despair.
"...Ha, my goodness."
He couldn't believe it.
It was an empty laughter.
tcf!Cale frown "Who cares about what I'm feeling? Just hurry up and give me the information that I need"
He doesn't care about all the nonsense that's describing what he felt, he just wants to know what happened to the others.
Saint Jack's prayer room and bedroom.
Sword master Hannah's bedroom.
Necromancer Mary's laboratory and bedroom.
Rosalyn's laboratory.
It came a surprise to the said people to have a room in that Villa.
To have a place to rest.
A place for growth.
A place to call home.
Click. Click.
Cale's laughter became louder each time he opened a door.
It was the same.
Their rooms were exactly as Cale remembered.
Well, there were slight differences.
He saw the Condemnation of the Sun on top of Saint Jack's desk. The cracked divine item was sitting there.
Sword master Hannah's sword was gently placed on top of her bed.
One of Mary's many black robes and a black wyvern bone were in Mary's laboratory.
Rosalyn's magic staff and a highest-grade magic stone that Cale had given her but she didn't get to finish using were on top of her desk.
With every word that was said.
They started to realize what it meant.
Their rooms and their belongings.
A precious place that has warmth and peace.
Will be a resting place for eternity.
Cale stopped for a moment and looked through the book.
"Ha, haha-"
Cale's empty laughter echoed throughout the villa.
He opened his mouth to speak.
"This is their grave."
tcf!Cale imagine a place where he would have his slacker life.
A life with only mundane worries.
A place where he will be at peace.
With the people he cherishes.
Living happy and healthy.
He will not let that place be their grave.
This large plaza located underneath the Forest of Darkness. This was their grave.
Click.
Cale opened the door to another room.
The rooms where Lock and his siblings had stayed in appeared in front of him.
Cale caressed the Wolf King's diary that he had given to Lock before continuing to walk.
The wolf King's diary.
That's the first he heard of that.
tcf!Lock is surprised to get the Wolf's diary in his hand. "I bet it has something to do with the young master"
He smiled thinking how will he ever return all the kindness the young master gave to him.
Click. Click.
Beacrox and Ron.
He saw the scary father-son duo's rooms as well.
"Ha!"
He looked on top of Ron's bed. An arm was resting on it. It was the fake arm that Mary had given him. That seemed to have remained after Ron died.
Cale closed his eyes before opening them once again.
He then continued to move.
Click.
He then entered Eruhaben's room.
The golden dragon has been getting a lot of surprises from the transmigrator,
But to think he too would have a place in that villa.
He was prepared for death
But if his death will cause this much pain to those who are left behind
He needed to rethink this through.
After that...
Click.
Cale could see the sword he gave Choi Han when he opened the door. The sword was broken and only a part of the hilt remained.
Every hero dies.
But og!Cale was not prepared to know that Choi Han would also die without a trace.
He always imagine him as someone so broken yet so strong. He even thought that he would survive the white star after his death.
He frowns.
It doesn't sit well with him the thought that he died.
Flip. Flip.
Cale continued to turn the pages.
"Makes you wonder who is this author?"
tcf!Mila can't help but think that it was well written.
Enough to have the transmigrator use it as information for what happened to his precious comrades.
Pat. Pat.
Cale lightly tapped his thighs with his fists.
He was feeling frustrated.
Choi Han and Raon agree with this.
They live because of him.
They've grown because of him.
They gain a new family because of him.
And they will die for him.
But that thought changed, seeing the result of what might happen if they did die for him.
Instead, they decided to be strong and live with him.
Cale opened his mouth to speak.
'Who the hell wrote this?
What the fuck is up with these descriptions?'
What nonsense!
tcf!Cale does not agree with those descriptions
Their story was their own, he was just there along the ride.
... wasn't he just got dragged into all of this?
"Because I obviously didn't go out of my way to help anyone." tcf!Cale was sure that he was got drag along. Tsk.
He wanted to say those things. However, nothing was coming out.
"Haaaa."
He took a deep breath.
Cale verified that he could breathe properly before closing his mouth again.
Bang.
Cale slammed the book shut before continuing to walk.
There was only one room left now.
'My room.'
Cale headed toward the top floor of the Super Rock Villa. He had to walk upstairs because he had used the whole floor as his bedroom.
tcf!Cale would've been happy to know that he own a villa and have a whole floor to himself.
But to find out it become a graveyard for all his prec.... for all his comrades, he hated that.
This makes it more urgent for him to make sure that what they are reading right now will not happen.
After all, A true slacker life is a life without worries and grief.
Finally, he was in front of his room.
"Haaaaa."
Cale took a deep breath.
Pat. Pat.
He tapped his thighs with his fists as he walked in.
The first things he could see were the fountain pen and the sword he had gifted to Basen and Lily.
The next things he saw belonged to Count Deruth and Countess Violan.
They seemed to have fought hard as well.
That was why only their belongings remained.
og!Cale wants to go and comfort his little siblings, he had been trying to ignore those cries that he have been hearing and he was sure that his past self was also feeling the same.
But they both don't even know how to comfort them.
He doesn't know how to comfort them.
What would he say?
That it won't happen?
That he will protect them?
That they won't die?
It is all so meaningless as he already experiences their death.
"Because I was useless"
og!Cale thought as he could only wish that this time, his family would live a long happy life.
... even without him.
And that would be enough.
The Cale of this world seemed to have brought his family members' belongings here as well.
Cale understood that feeling.
This was somewhere that only he knew about now.
This was where he planned to stay with everyone once things were over.
Even with all that they find out about their deaths, they couldn't help but feel elated, as they found out that the young master prepared a place for them.
He said a place for his family members. Does that mean the young master thought of them as a family?
Yes, they couldn't help but have that light blissful feeling inside their chest.
He understood why that Cale would turn this into their graves.
"Ha! This is here as well."
Cale scoffed after seeing the video communication device he used to communicate with Alberu Crossman on the table.
Reading about him dying, tcf!Alberu isn't concerned about it, since he would make sure he and his company will live.
That's why instead he mumbled this.
"Aww dongsaeng, I have a place in your room?"
He was kind of elated that his memento was with his precious family.
I.Am.Best.Hyung.Ever!
He declare in his heart with all the confidence that he had.
Pat. Pat.
Cale patted his thighs again.
It was so that he could keep walking.
However, he soon stopped walking again.
Cale looked on top of his bed.
"...This is driving me nuts."
He really felt like he was going crazy.
There were three piggy banks on the table.
tcf!Cale's eyes shook as he tighten his hold on his children.
He knows who that piggy bank presents as.
He know it at the very first of what had happened to them in this test.
Yet, he will never be prepared for something like this.
He didn't need to ask who's these were.
Raon, On, and Hong.
The three children's piggy banks were on top of the bed.
His hands that had been patting his thighs stopped in midair.
"... Fuck."
Cale suppressed the emotions that were coming up from his heart.
The piggy banks were approximately half full. Cale looked through his pockets.
"...Why do I have no money?"
He wanted to fill their piggy banks, but he had no money.
"You can give it to us anytime! And it's ok even if you don't give us any nya!"
"Nya! It's also ok if even you ever become dirt poor, we will find some ways to provide for you!"
"That's right human! Don't worry if you don't have money I will become an awesome dragon who will have a treasure trove and give you lots of lots of money!"
tcf!Cale frown, He will make sure he has money wherever he goes, be it an illusion or a test. He will be the one to provide for them.
Of course what the children said to him didn't make his heart flutter which can forget his sorrow for a moment, of course it doesn't! What are you talking about?
- whatever you say Cale.
The glutton sighs fondly.
Cale sat down at the edge of the bed.
Pat. Pat.
Cale patted the pages of the book this time.
"What do I need to do to get out of here?"
His voice sounded calm as he asked that question.
However, his eyes were bloodshot and his shoulders were slumped.
The moment he feared the most.
He thought he would pass the test once he faced that moment.
That was why he had gone to the Henituse Estate and come to the Super Rock Villa.
He looked through all of the traces of the past.
He thought that would be the way he could move on to the future.
It sounds like he was very used to this situation.
A situation where all those people around him die.
A situation where he was always left alone.
They don't know how to feel about this.
Cale needed to go to the people who were waiting for him.
It was at that moment.
Swoooooooosh- Swooooooosh-
He could hear the sound of the wind. Cale turned his head.
The wind was tapping on the window.
Cale walked over and opened the window.
Swoooooooooooosh- Swoooooooosh-
He could hear the sound of the wind.
The wind brushed past his face.
Cale's expression turned odd.
He could tell the flow of the wind.
It was blowing from top to bottom.
It seemed to be telling him to follow it.
Cale, who had a tired expression on his face, similar to the tired expression on Kim Rok Soo's face that made his team members worry about him, started to speak.
They really wish for this test to be over.
It breaks their heart to have him experience losing someone important to him.
Everyone believes that the only expression that tcf!Cale should have that of joy.
Because he deserves it.
"You want me to follow?"
It was at that moment.
'Can you hear me?'
Cale flinched.
He had never heard this voice before.
"Is it another ancient power?" tcf!Dodori ask and someone answered.
"Might not be, I mean I sometimes have that voice in my head and I don't have an ancient power"
"..." tcf!Dodori thinks that's a kind of different situation altogether... and dangerous...
'Can you hear me?'
'Can he hear us?'
'He needs to hear us!'
It was not just one voice.
He suddenly heard many voices.
Each voice was unique.
They were all asking if Cale could hear them.
"Let's hope it's not a voice in your imagination" tcf!Rasheel with all the grace that he has said.
tcf!Cale ignores that. He is anticipating that hearing those voices might mean that the test will be over soon.
Cale looked down below.
Tap.
He stepped on the window sill and stood there.
Swoooooosh- Swooooooosh-
The wind was blowing from top to bottom.
It seemed to be motioning to Cale. Cale looked behind him. He could see many belongings sitting there.
"This is not my future."
He started to think not about these belongings here, but about the people in the real world outside this dream.
And tcf!Cale believes it as well, he would make sure what happened in this test will never be his future.
He smirk, "It's over."
He was now sure that the test is over.
He thought of what he needed to do now that he found all this information.
'Can you hear me sir?'
'Hey, can you hear me?'
He could still hear voices talking to him.
The number of voices was slowly increasing.
Cale thought he had a good idea about who these voices belonged to.
"Wind Elementals."
"Is that why I had to do this test?" tcf!Cale asks more to himself.
Now the question is, is it worth it?
Well, he did know what would happen in the test,
Doesn't mean he could get used to it.
Before he could ponder more, a voice besides him interrupted.
"You know, maybe you don't need it"
"Since, you know, you already got a lot of collections"
"No need to cam em all"
"I'm not catching anything!"
And then proceed to banter.
og!Cale and tboah!Cale knew this wasn't enough to let the transmigrator forget the affliction of that test. But with this light banter, they hope to lessen his pain.
On another note, they're quite serious about telling him not to go through that test. He doesn't need to sacrifice any more than this.
He was certain it was them even without anybody telling him.
Cale turned back around and looked down from the window.
He could see the ground below the pretty tall villa.
"Haa, so annoying."
'I don't know any martial arts to be able to land safely from this high up.
Choi Han isn't here to carry me either.
"Shut it!"
"But we didn't say anything~"
"You're smirk and evil expression is enough said!" tcf!Cale thought as he wants to smack og!Cale and tboah!Cale.
Meanwhile,
A certain black hair swordsman was ignoring the red hair mage beside him who was giving him an odd stare.
He was not blushing!
Raon's not here to use flight magic for me either.'
Cale started to smile. He threw the book in his hand into the room.
Plop.
The book fell onto the bed.
Cale then kicked off the window sill.
A moment of silence.
Until...
"Oh my gosh!"
"Why would you jump when you clearly said you can't land safely!"
"Human! Why would you be so reckless when you know I'm not there to help you!"
"Are you trying to kill yourself!!!?"
"Are you!!!?"
"Idiot!"
Everyone cries in outrage at what the self-sacrificing idiot was doing.
tcf!Cale frown. He feels that it's unfair that they think he was reckless enough to hurt himself. After all, he hates pain. So he was sure he had it covered.
Swoooooosh- Swooooooosh-
The wind started to surround his body.
He was heading down.
The Sound of the Wind surrounded his body that was quickly falling down.
tcf!Cale was about to smirk until...
"Still dangerous idiot!"
"What would you do if your ancient power wasn't there!"
"Idiot!"
And thus the scolding was still present.
Cale closed his eyes. You passed the test.
The good thing is he passed.
That was what everyone was thinking.
They felt relieved that it was all over.
And now that horrible test has come to pass.
They just hope that it won't leave a scar on the young master's heart.
Cale heard a familiar voice after hearing that message. Can you hear me? Cale, can you hear me? You can hear me, right?
'Hmm?' Answer me.
The thief. The Super Rock. The cheapskate.
Cale smiled after hearing these voices in his mind.
"Yup, Cale smiling is still the best," Hong thought fondly.
"Even though he's sometimes an idiot" He also thought pettily, he still remembers how Cale jumped off the window.
And thus decided to paw his hand.
Gently.
Because his human is weak.
"I can hear you. I can hear you loud and clear."
His voice was oddly light. However, Cale grumbled as he opened his eyes.
"How can you create such a terrible test- huh?"
Cale, who was about to complain to the thief, flinched as soon as he opened his eyes.
'He opened his eyes!'
'He must have passed the test!'
'We've been protecting you!'
"Hmm?"
"What do they mean protecting?"
They certainly hope it just means protecting from little bugs that might crawl on tcf!Cale.
Or just protecting to be sure.
They'll accept anything as long as there were no real danger.
He could hear their voices. He could not see the owners of the voices though.
Cale could see the gold whip in his hand. It was not shining like before.
"Ooooohhhhh he got a whip!"
"That's soo ho-"
Everyone looks at the idiot that said that.
"Cough..Handy... Ahem.. I mean it's handy and... It's very useful.. Cough cough" The idiot that said that looks away.
'Nice to meet you! Very nice to meet you!'
'Alright! There's finally a human to chat with! Awesome!'
It was loud.
He felt as if he was standing in the middle of a busy market.
"He really has a strong mind" tcf!Rasheel was once again amazed. "I mean just imagining a lot of voices in your head already gives me a headache"
He shudders just thinking about it.
'Do you know how hard I worked to protect you?'
However, Cale flinched after hearing one Elemental's voice.
The Elementals had been saying that they had protected Cale.
'Now that I think about it-'
Cale realized something was odd about his position.
He could see a half-transparent dome.
A dome made of wind was surrounding him and the jar.
Drip. Drip.
He could hear dripping water.
Cale lifted his head up. Raon's fire orb was still shining brightly.
"...Damn it."
Cale started to frown.
The temple's ceiling was slowly starting to crack.
What?
Everyone question.
Drip. Drip.
Black liquid was flowing out of the ceiling and falling down.
WHAT!?
Now everyone is in shock.
Cale lowered his head.
The temple had been pretty large.
However, half of the temple was now filled with a black liquid.
Again WHAT!?
They were now flabbergasted.
The temple was slowly filling up with dead mana.
'We've been preventing it, but it will explode soon!'
"Exploding!?"
"The idiot was in the middle of a dangerous place all while unconscious!!"
"Why didn't you choose a more safer place to faint!?"
"Scratch that! Don't faint at all!"
"This wouldn't have happened if I had been there"
"Again where was I that I didn't stop you from being an idiot?"
"Human! Never leave my side ever again!"
"Stupid Cale"
Sigh
"Idiot"
tcf!Cale frown. He feels that it's unfair that they think he was reckless enough to hurt himself. After all, he hates pain. So he was sure he had it covered.
Wait.
He was having a sense of deja vu.
The Wind Elementals continued to talk.
'We are protecting this temple and the black mountain right now, but the black mountain will soon explode!'
'Then the ocean will turn black!'
'That's not the problem! Everyone will die!'
Three days. Mercenary King Bud had said that they just needed to return the ancient artifact within three days.
Cale subconsciously started to speak.
"How many days?"
'How many days was I in this test?' One week! You punk!
"One week!?"
"How are you still talking!?"
"Oh my g-! You haven't been eating or drinking for a week!
"Young master, you really want to have a talk with this old man"
tcf!Cale felt a shiver.
"Let's do that after this"
tcf!Cale now feels a chill.
"Why are they being like this?"
The Super Rock shouted in a concerned voice. ...I am sorry. I didn't know it would take that long. For your reference, time flows differently in the test and in the real world.
The thief cautiously explained in an apologetic voice.
'...One week?'
Cale subconsciously started to speak as he thought about the Super Rock's response.
"...Shit, this is bad."
Raon, Choi Han, On, Hong, and Ron. All of their faces flashed in his mind.
Said people are now glaring (protective) daggers at tcf!Cale.
And if the two people besides tcf!Cale is trying to get away from the hot seat, his death grip on their clothes says otherwise.
'Let go!!'
'I don't want to be a part of this!!'
He ignore those whispered shouts.
'You're right! This is bad! The black mountain is going to explode!'
'It is bad if the dead mana storage facility blows up!'
The Wind Elementals continued to talk and Cale reacted to them by sharing his thoughts.
The black mountain. The dead mana storage facility was going to explode soon.
In that case...
"A sea of fire."
The cheapskate quickly responded to Cale's words. As expected! You want a sea of fire as soon as you open your eyes? You really are a crazy bastard!
"That I agree," said the self proclaim best hyung ever.
With how tcf!Cale wanted to do something crazy then he can safely assume that he is fine.
"Though he totally deserves being in the middle of glaring overprotective gazes," the crown prince thought as he is currently witnessing the Caleplets trying their best to get out of those heated protective gazes.
'What?'
Cale couldn't believe the cheapskate's nonsense. However, he could not hide his laughter after coming back to reality.
It was not an empty laughter, but a full laughter.
Crackle. Crackle.
That eases their glare (protective gazes)
Well, at least now he can laugh joyfully.
It's all great and good.
As long as his heart and mind are safe.
And thus decided to continue their (protective) glare and scolding another time.
[End... Preparing next]
