Chapter 20: Saw A Dragon (3)

After coming out of the prison, Cale put the dragon down in front of the two kittens.

"That looks like it hurts."

"So sad."

On and Hong circled around the still silent dragon. The dragon started to show its teeth and growl at them. This was probably the first time in its life it ever saw anything other than humans.

"It is really sad. To have been all alone and tortured every day." tboah!Mary said though monotonous the sadness that she feel was still conveyed.

Meow

While the two cats tail swing side to side as they rub their head at their youngest who was thanking them in their mind.

Cale verified the time on his watch. It looked like they had just enough time to escape.

"It looks like it hurts."

On approached Cale and tapped his leg. She seemed to be thinking about the potion Cale brought in his magic box. She couldn't ask him for it, so she could only act this way.

"Hold on."

"Might I ask why wait young master?" tcf!Mary asks respectfully but concern still lace within her.

"It'll be explained later" tcf!Cale answered nonchalantly.

Cale had brought that potion to use it. However, he needed to wait until the mana restriction chains were off. The potion would only work properly if the mana, which was practically as important as a dragon's heart, was no longer restricted.

"Oh," tcf!Mary said as she now understand and felt relieved.

Everyone was glad that the little dragon will soon be healed.

Cale started to head toward the opposite side of the prison, the location the torturer seemed to be guarding. It wasn't very loud, but he could hear Choi Han fighting in the distance. Cale presumed that Choi Han's battle would end soon as well.

"Let's see."

Cale started to pat the cave wall with his hands. He kicked the torturer with his foot to get him out of the way, and continued to pat every aspect of the wall. The dragon growled after seeing the torturer, but stayed still and continued to focus on Cale.

"You should've done more than kick him!" tboah!Cale said as he felt protective of the cute dragon.

"You should've disfigured his face and body!" og!Cale was also feeling protective of the cute little dragon, but then he remember something "Well I think that's the only thing he can do since with his now weak body is even needed to be princess carried by the peasant" he said teasingly but still making sure the scary peasant did not hear him.

"What-!" tcf!Cale almost choked on his drink.

"It was not a princess carry!" tcf!Cale said offended as he defend himself.

"You sure? Didn't he sweep you in his oh so muscular arm" said tboah!Cale teasingly batted his eyes, but also making sure the scary plebeian did not hear him, while og!Cale snickers.

tcf!Cale narrows his eyes at them (pouting)  "I swear I'll smack these two idiots"

'Venion's last line of defense should be around here somewhere.'

Like all of the members of Marquis Stan's family, Venion was extremely worried about someone intruding while he was inside. He had created a secret tunnel to use as an escape route if something like that ever happened. If the torturer knew about it, he probably would have used it to escape earlier, but, sadly, even the torturer did not know about this escape route.

'The novel said there was a flat area on this bumpy wall-, ah here it is.'

So The Birth of a Hero really is a novel.

They still can't comprehend the fact they were in a novel... Or is it their lives was made into a novel?

There was a flat area about the size of a person's hand on this bumpy cave wall. Although Venion looked like he had OCD and would never do anything like training, everyone in the Marquis's family had learned martial arts.

"That's right, but it was only for self-defense," thought tcf!Taylor felling bitter and rage that Venion would use his martial arts for such horrid acts.

'If you use a strong enough force on that location, the wall will open.'

It was not a magic device. Instead, the force of the impact made the device move. Cale turned his head to look toward the person who entered and asked.

"All done?"

"Yes."

Choi Han lightly swung his sword in the air to get rid of the blood on it and then approached Cale. His gaze soon turned toward the dragon, and started to frown. It was a natural reaction to seeing such a small creature being covered in blood. The glare in Choi Han's eyes as he stared at the torturer was vicious.

"How truly vicious," The Cales thought, but it's the only time they like his viciousness.

"Choi Han."

That was why Cale had called out to Choi Han. Choi Han was still glaring at the torturer as he reported.

"As you ordered, I left the escaping workers alone. I also made sure that all of the strong individuals would not be able to fight."

"Good job."

"The young master is really kind-hearted" tcf! Witria said.

"He doesn't want to harm anyone" tcf!Litana agrees.

Now everyone's worried if such a kind-hearted person can survive.

So some dangerous individuals decided for themselves to have a visit. An evil smile graces their lips as fangs show, and eyes that glint diagonally for a moment before turning back to how it was. Danger lurks at Marquis Stan, one of his heirs and his subordinates.

Cale praised Choi Han before pointing to the flat area on the wall.

"Punch this spot."

"As strong as I can?"

'Are you planning on destroying the cave?'

tcf!Choi Han frown (pouts). He couldn't have destroyed the cave with just his punch... or could he?

"No. Control your strength. Just pretend you are creating a 10cm dent in this wall."

"Mm. So, very lightly."

"Sure."

Very lightly? Cale quickly stepped away from Choi Han after hearing Choi Han call something that was impossible for Cale to do as only using a tiny bit of his strength.

"10cm dent... Very lightly.."

The Cales shudder.

As og!Cale and tboah!Cale thought "how did I survive his beatings again?"

Choi Han understood that to be Cale telling him to hurry, and immediately punched the wall with his fist.

Boom!

"Wow."

"Oh."

Cale picked the dragon back up while the kitten siblings were admiring what happened.

tcf!Choi Han feels happy and a little bit shy being admired by the children for just punching the wall very lightly.

Screeeeeeeech-

A chilling screeching noise came out of the wall, and an area the size of an adult male appeared to one side of the cave wall. Choi Han quickly picked up the torch.

"Let's go."

At Cale's command, the kittens got on Choi Han's back, as Choi Han stepped into the tunnel first. Cale followed behind him. The dragon remained quiet in Cale's arms, with only the sound of its breathing coming out of it. However, the eyes that were staring at Cale were still extremely vicious.

Rather than any gratitude for saving him, it seemed to be filled with thoughts of terror about being tortured by someone else, as well as anger and resentment toward humans.

"After what the dragon-nim experience, I really can't fault him if he acted like that" tcf!Tasha said. "Though it's sad, I hope he could still find trust in others."

They all agree.

"Stop staring at me like that."

Cale casually talked to the dragon in his arms.

'Ah, I'm a bit out of breath.'

Cale was out of breath as he tried to keep up with Choi Han, who seemed to have no issues running.

"Haaa" og!Cale sighed as he shook his head.

"I'm not even surprised anymore" tboah!Cale said with a deadpan face.

"His heavy, ok?" as tcf!Cale feels the need to defend himself.

-Human! I'm not heavy! You're just delicate!

tcf!Cale just pats him with his legs still trembling. "Aigoo.. my poor legs"

The dragon just continued to watch him. Cale's black clothes started to become covered in the dragon's blood.

They frown at that. They wish that the dragon could be healed already. Stupid mana restriction. Tsk.

While Sheritt was raising her trembling hand as if she's imagining herself reaching her son. She pauses. And hug herself... Oh she wants to hug her son and carry him in her protective arms.

The kittens jumped off of Choi Han's shoulder and started to run. Choi Han put some strength into his fist and hit the center of the wall with the same strength as earlier.

Boom!

The wall almost instantly collapsed, and they could see the night sky. They were outside the cave. This time, Cale took the lead as he looked around.

This was the reason they needed the Mana Disturbance Tool to work on the entire mountain. Venion had put a magic recording device on this secret tunnel entrance as well. He was a very thorough person.

"Yet here is someone who throws that thorough plan out the window." tboah!Bud said thinking he doesn't want that redhead as an enemy.

"He out plans and out resource him." tcf!Bud said while thinking of staying away from the redhead, he doesn't want to be on his bad side.

Cale didn't know exactly where this entrance was located, necessitating the Mana Disturbance Tool to work on the entire mountain.

[] After running away from the secret tunnel entrance for about two minutes, Cale looked at his watch.

"Stop."

"This transmigrator is also very thorough in his plan" tboah!Eruhaben said admiring how smooth his plan was moving though it was a little bit chaotic.

The alarms that were going off in the area suddenly stopped blarring. The Mana Disturbance Tool had stopped working.

"Huuuu~."

Cale took a deep breath, calming his rapidly beating heart. The Indestructible Shield around his heart was gathering strength every time his heart beat like that, just in case an emergency situation happened.

"Ah, it's the ancient power that young master used." tcf!Lock said as he remember how heroic the young master was at that time. Then felt sad at how he coughed out blood.

- Cale, it's talking about me!... Now I'm hungry again, Cale eat more!

'I have no plans to use it right now.'

However, Cale was not planning on using this shield just yet. After freeing this dragon and saying goodbye to Choi Han in the next city, he was planning on gaining the ancient power, 'Vitality of the Heart,' To strengthen this shield. Only then would he use the shield.

"Vitality of heart?" tcf!Cage and tcf!Taylor perks up that "Did he get that ancient power?"

Meanwhile, tboah!Cage was surprisingly calm. She was about to get angry and curse him for daring to steal the ancient power before them, but then remember how Taylor was plunged in despair when he found out it was all useless.

"At least, if we didn't get that ancient power, maybe, maybe Taylor can still have hope that the vitality of heart was still somewhere or he could find another ancient power that could heal him." In a way, she is thankful if the transmigrator will get that ancient power.

"You're planning to get another ancient power?" said tboah!Eruhaben "then I advise you not to do it."

"May I ask why?" tcf!Cale asks respectfully, he's still wary of this blonde elf beauty especially now that he had a great idea of what kind of being he truly is.

"It's because you'll blow up to pieces." tboah!Eruhaben commented nonchalantly.

"Idiot." "Haaa."

"But I didn't?" He said ignoring the various voices, especially that last one that came from beside him.

"Hm, so you already have two ancient power?" tcf!Eruhaben said interested in that as he stare at tcf!Cale.

"Three, actually..." tcf!Cale said while not liking that stare.

They were shocked. "There is someone to have more than 1 ancient power!". While some had additional thoughts "how is he still alive?"

"Hmm, it's amazing how you didn't blow up" the tcf!Eruhaben started to think "I assume the vitality of the heart was the 2nd ancient power you've taken"

A nod.

"Then I'm guessing that ancient power is currently healing you. You're very lucky, if it's in the wrong order then we wouldn't be here talking right now." tcf!Eruhaben nodded with understanding.

tcf!Cale shudder.

"But now you need to balance your power with all the elements or else your plate will break." tboah! Eruhaben advised.

-Human!!! Once we get out of here let's collect the remaining ancient power!

tcf!Cale nodded at that and was determined to get the Fire of Destruction the moment he return.

Now that he had the time to look around, Cale looked down toward the dragon. He then started to smile.

The rebellious gaze was gone, and the dragon was looking up at the night sky in admiration. This was the first time the dragon saw anything other than the cave walls in its four years of life. Cale understood what the dragon was feeling, and wanted to give it some more time, but he could not do that.

Their heart wrench at what they've read, " a being that was locked up now have been outside for the very first time"

As Sheritt tears keep pouring out with mixed emotions of sadness and happiness.

Meanwhile, the black dragon smiled nostalgically at his first time watching the night sky, he curled his tail at tcf! Cale's arm then releases it.

He put the dragon down on the grass and continued to look at it. The dragon looked right back at him. Its eyes were once again filled with anger and resentment, as it curled its body up and looked ready to attack.

'No wonder it continued to get tortured for four years. It won't back down at all.'

"How strong-willed" tcf!Dodori said with a hint of admiration.

"Truly a being worthy to be called a dragon" tcf!Pendrick thought as he claps his hand together.

That was why Cale personally liked this dragon. It was different from himself. Growing up being abused as an orphan, Cale, well, Kim Rok Soo, had given in. After that, he didn't want to be the main character of a story, like Choi Han. After giving in at a place he called home, he didn't think he had the strength to fight against the world.

The room froze.

"... Abused" tcf!Alberu said like he can't comprehend it "To think that person who has so much confidence had such a sad childhood ." He scowls "I don't like it that he suffered in his childhood". He also felt a little kinship as he too has a neglected childhood, well at least unlike the transmigrator his not abused... Right?

"C-Cale-nim" tcf!Choi Han was trembling "not only was he an orphan but he was abused." He steels himself. He swears that he will not let his Cale-nim ever experience any form of abuse now that he's here with him.

tcf! Ron frowned caressing the dagger in his hand "his puppy young master went through a lot." He grips his dagger, with a dangerous glint in his eye he swears to end anyone who causes harm to his new charge.

The Henituse family felt sad at the same time determination formed in them.. and regrets.

"O-Orabuni" tcf!Lily said sadly. "I'll get stronger like Choi Han so that I could protect you" Her eyes held clear determination.. " and maybe I could've protected my other orabuni" She look sadly at og!Cale.

"..Hyung" tcf!Basen grips his hand "I may not have been there for him back then but I'll make sure that it will never happen now.".. Then he looks down "I wish I could've been there for my other hyung too" as he glances at og!Cale.

tcf!Violan swears that she will take up her armor once again if she finds out who harmed her son. And she will make sure that her transmigrator son will be in a happy and peaceful family from now on because.. because.. they didn't give that to her other son...

She understands that she failed as a mother to og!Cale.. that she might not have physically abused him but still cause him pain... "I want another chance.." She thought in regret.

"Who is it!? When I find them I'll destroy them!" tcf!Deruth was out for blood.. but he was also mad at himself. He wonders if his other son has given in at their home too... "I wish I could go back in time... I wish... I could've corrected my wrong.."

"Nevermind, his truly unlucky" tcf!Eruhaben sighed "why am I getting concerned at this unlucky transmigrator?" He frowns.

Meanwhile...

"It really sucks living in a house that suffocates you." tboah!Cale nonchalantly said.

"Yeah, like every time you wake up you just wish to always be asleep." og!Cale said with a shrug.

"Well, at least I get to eat anytime, which now you could too anytime" tboah!Cale said showing his twisted way sort of comfort.

"And I also have a very soft bed which I'm sure you could sleep in as much as you want" og!Cale said to show his also twisted way form of comfort.

"Yup I'm going to be a rich slacker" tcf!Cale was happy just thinking about his future self, eating and sleeping all the time.

- And I'll be there!

"Us too! nya~"

"That's right! nya~"

"-oof!" tcf!Cale let out air as the children pounce at him.

"Hey."

Cale made sure the dragon was looking at him, then took out a pair of gloves and some scissors-shaped cutting tool. There were a lot of magic seals on both of the blades for cutting. He then put on the electricity-resistant gloves.

[]Choi Han was looking at the cutter with chaotic eyes, while the kitten siblings had moved away from Cale and were hiding behind Choi Han.

"He wouldn't, right?" That's what everyone was thinking. They're dreading what tcf!Cale was planning.

The dragon was still just staring at him.

"Tsk."

He then grabbed the dragon's neck.

"Gasp."

Everyone tense up.

"He won't hurt the dragon, right?"

"He said they rescue the dragon, did he lie?"

Various thoughts and questions are being made.

The kittens took in a deep breath. However, Cale ignored them as he continued onward, since it was better to do this as fast as possible. The cutter headed for the dragon's neck. The sharp blade shone under the moonlight, and the dragon just paid attention to Cale's eyes. Cale's eyes were emotionless and peaceful.

The dragon closed its eyes.

"Don't tell me the freedom he meant was to end its' life?" tboah!Toonka said with his arms crossed.

Now they're worried.

At that moment, they all heard the snapping noise of something getting cut.

Sizzle. Sizzle.

The mana restriction chain was causing sparks in Cale's hands.

"What are you looking at?"

The tension was broken.

They sigh in relief.

...

While everyone was worried back then, the people in the center were in their little world.

- Other Human! Tell me more about this apple smoothie!

"It has milk on it with shaved ices and of course fresh apples." og!Cale explains as he tries to remember it.

"It's sweet and cold, speaking of cold we also have cold teas with cream there" tcf!Cale said remembering that store that sells milk tea.

"Cold teas with cream?" tboah!Cale asks with glitters in his eyes.

"Is it sweet! nya~"

"Is it yummy? nya~"

(How they get into that random conversation, I honestly don't know)

Cale scoffed at the dragon that had opened its eyes back to look at him and took off one of the gloves and handed it to Choi Han. Choi Han put the glove on and Cale handed the chain to him before taking the potion out of his pocket.

It was a highest grade potion. Even this cost quite a bit to purchase. It made Cale feel bad for asking for an allowance the last few days before he left. -

"Don't worry my son, I will give you more allowance" tcf! Deruth thought as he is willing to give the world and the territory lord to tcf!Cale.

"Also... I can't give it now to my other son" He looks sadly at og!Cale.

Cale clicked his tongue and sharply stared at the dragon.

"Do you know how much money I spent on you?"

The dragon could hear the same words he heard quite often. He had heard it almost every day since he was born. Why do you not listen to me when I spent so much money on you? Guess you need to be beaten some more. Then he was beaten. They said that he needed to stop thinking for himself and listen to them as they continued to beat him.

They frown at that.

Venion's days are numbered. Once they return, fear and agony will be the only thing Venion Stan will ever remember.

However.

"Since I spent so much money on you, you better heal properly, you stupid fool."

Everyone smile at what tcf!Cale said.

"Pyah~"

"Hm, again what's a tyundare?" someone asks.

tcf!Cale frown.

[A Tsundere is a very cold and rude person when first meet them but slowly warms up to you. Though a Tsundere doesn't show their affection very often, but you still know that they love you no matter what.]

"System?" They got surprised as the 'system' suddenly show itself.

"What do you mean by 'vanish', did you really just pop out just so you could explain that?" tcf!Cale said indecorously as he click his tongue.

Everyone is looking at tcf!Cale and think "Yup, tsundere."

The dragon did not feel any pain.

Cale poured about half of the potion onto the dragon's back, and poured the rest into its mouth. Thankfully, the dragon did not resist, and swallowed it down.

After a few minutes, Cale could only think that it really was a dragon. The mana, which was the equivalent to the dragon's heart and the source of all of its power, started to move in its body.

All of the injuries on the dragon's body instantly disappeared, and a blue aura that seemed to be the dragon's mana surrounded its body like the wind.

They were glad that the little dragon was now completely healed.

Sheritt was overflowing with gratitude as her son was now healed. She really wants to see her son. "A t least now I know that my son lives" She glances at tcf!Cale with a warm smile "I am forever grateful to you and your companion"

While tcf!Hannah let out a small smile, then pause. She frowns and looks away.

This change that occurred in an instant made Cale think about just how scary and powerful of an existence dragons really were in this world.

tcf!Pendrick wanted to rant with 5 volumes of essay and supporting documents at how amazing dragons are but he was visibly vibrating with excitement and awe to utter a single word.

"Hey."

The dragon should have no reason to get injured anymore. The smart dragon seemed to understand what had happened to its body, as its eyes came completely back to life.

Cale took a step toward the dragon. The baby dragon curled up while continuing to observe Cale. Cale ignored the dragon and asked.

"What do you want to do now?"

They were focused, they also want to know what the now rescued dragon will do.

Cale started to smile while looking at the dragon that remaining silent.

"I know you can speak the human language. You are a dragon. The smartest and strongest existence in the world."

Cale asked once more.

"What did you want to do once you got free?"

"...I."

The dragon started to speak. The dragon really did know how to speak the human language. It was much smarter than humans. There was no way it did not learn the human language in the last four years.

4 years of torture...

Sheritt closes her eyes "I'm s-sorry m-my son.." she grips her hand in her heart "I'm sorry that I let this happen"

"I."

The dragon could feel it in his heart. With his current strength, he could easily kill the man in front of him. He was scared of the man in the back, but it would be possible for him to escape alive. He had gained the strength he had waited for so long to obtain.

That was why the dragon finally said the thing he had thought to himself over and over for the last four years. However, this was the first time he had ever he said it out loud.

"I will live."

They all smile.

While Sheritt with her silent tears "thank you.." as tears of gratitude run down her eye "thank you Cale" She could only be thankful to the human who save her son.

He will live, no matter what it took.

"I will go away."

He was going to go away from here.

"Yes, live freely my son" Sheritt filled her thoughts with joy.

He revealed his inner thoughts.

"I will not be tamed."

"That's right! A dragon will never be tame by anyone!" tcf! Rasheel said proudly.

"Yes. You are right."

Cale was saying the dragon was right.

"You are a dragon. A DRAGON. You have the right to live freely."

All dragons nod at that.

"That human speaks facts" tcf!Rasheel said proudly while puffing his chest.

"He really knows us," both Eruhaben thought as he nod his head.

"Mom, that human is interesting" tcf!Dodori whispered to her mom.

"Your right my son" as tcf!Mila's eyes glint in interest.

tcf!Cale shudder "again, why do I feel like running away?"

"Live however you want to live. What is it you want to do?"

"I-."

The baby dragon lifted its head to look at the night sky. It was different from the darkness inside the cave. It was dark, but there was still light.

"I hate humans. I want to be free."

"Good."

Cale got up from his seat. He then took out some mid-grade potions and a smaller pouch from his magic bag and put the potions in the bag before handing it to the dragon.

"Live freely."

"He even left those expensive potions, the young master is truly a good person" tcf!Cage said as she remembers how they were also helped by him.

The dragon's black pupils enlarged and started to shake. However, there was still doubt and resentment in its eyes. Naturally, Cale did not care.

'This should be enough.'

He freed the dragon, screwed Venion over, saved the village, and helped Choi Han understand what freedom means thanks to the dragon.

"Yes, it's thanks to this experience, I learn how to protect and care for life" tcf!Choi Han said smiling.

Hearing that tboah!Choi Han now also wants to know how to protect.

"If I had known how to protect, would I have become stronger?"

"Would I not kill the dragon?"

"Would I have protected the village and the dragon?"

tboah!Choi Han grips his trembling hand as regrets filled him.

Most importantly, he did not need to take responsibility for the dragon. He could see in its eyes that it did not want to follow him. It was a very good conclusion. Cale spoke to his party members in a satisfied tone.

"Let's go."

og!Cale and tcf!Cale snort. As both of them knows for a fact that the cute little black dragon was currently on tcf!Cale's lap.

He turned his back to the dragon with no regrets, and started to walk. Choi Han silently followed behind Cale and focused on altering their tracks. The kittens, who hesitated for a moment, saw the dragon turn its gaze away from Cale before following behind him.

Once even the Cat Tribe sibling turned away from it, the dragon lifted its head and watched them walk away.

"...I hate humans...they are evil..."

"Oh dragon-nim if you visit the elf village we will surely welcome you and there won't be any humans" tcf!Pendrick whispers longingly with bright eyes.

For some reason, the dragon was paying more attention to the back of the human, the race that he was annoyingly used to and hated, rather than the night sky that it was seeing for the first time.

They felt happy that the dragon was now free but...

"Why does it feel like the little dragon followed you?" tcf!Bud shouted as he ask.

They look at tcf!Cale.

- Human! I want to show myself! Can I?

tcf!Cale was reluctant but nods when he feel the black dragon's excitement.

The little dragon flies up, removes his invisible magic, and reveals himself to everyone.

"Hello!"

!!!

"I'm the great and mighty dragon! And I'm a grand total of 4!" He said puffing his chest.

Some were surprised then soon turn to look amused at the cute dragon.

While tcf! Sheritt was overflowing with joy finally seeing her son.

"Yes, he is the great and mighty Raon Miru" tcf!Cale nonchalantly said.

"That right! I'm Raon M-!" The black dragon froze and look at tcf!Cale "..Human?"

"Yes, Raon?" tcf!Cale was looking at him with a smile.

Everyone observes their interaction.

Eyes trembling, Raon smiles widely. "T-That's right! my name is Raon Miru! He said proudly as he flap his wings.

"I am the great and mighty Raon Miru!"

Seeing the cute dragon that now had full of life. They felt warm as they smile.

"Raon Miru, my baby's name," Sheritt thought as her heartache in longing. "I want to show myself, but not yet... it's not the right time, but someday" She assured herself.

Chapter 67

Cale leaned on one of the railings as he calmly looked out to the ocean. It was at that moment.

"Hm?"

"Why can I hear the ocean?" tcf!Toonka asks wondering where it comes from.

Not only him but everyone can hear it.

"pyah!"

"So you added sounds?" tboah!Toonka said liking it, at least he won't have to always read plain text.

"pyah" "pyah"

They just sweatdrop.

"Human."

"We could even hear the voices" tcf!Toonka said with satisfaction.

The Black Dragon revealed himself and approached Cale. There was no need to be invisible because nobody else was here right now.

"What?"

"I was just wondering..."

The Black Dragon seemed to have a lot on his mind. No, he seemed very suspicious as he blankly looked Cale up and down.

"Yeah, what did you do?" og!Cale asks like tcf!Cale already caused trouble.

"Nothing" tcf!Cale scoffed, then pause "I didn't do anything right?"

"...Is the name you are thinking of a random word?"

"What the hell are you talking about?"

The Black Dragon seemed very concerned.

"I feel like you will pick something like Black or Dragon."

"Ah, your name?"

Ah

"So that's why the reaction," Everyone thought of how the dragon was surprised.

"To think a dragon will let a human name him." tboah! Rosalyn said in shock.

"But considering what they went through, it's understandable.." tcf! Rosalyn said in awe.

The Black Dragon was talking about his name. Cale made a very serious expression at the 4-year old's very concerned question.

"...Is a name like that not very good?"

Cale's expression was very serious. The Black Dragon had not seen Cale look so serious for a while now. The Black Dragon's eyes started to shake as he urgently responded.

"Does that mean human didn't just think of it randomly?" Raon mumbled and smile that his human thought hard on his name.

"Not at all! I am fine with anything! It is fine as long as you give me a name, human! Do not worry!"

His wings were fluttering rapidly, and his tail was shaking as he strongly appealed to Cale. Cale's expression instantly turned normal like he was never serious at all.

"Then I am glad."

He then casually continued.

"Raon, On and Hong would have been sad if they heard what you said."

"Human! You called me by my name!" as Raon flies down to pounce on tcf!Cale.. gently because his human is weak.

"-oof!" cough "Yes Raon" as tcf!Cale pats Raon.

Seeing the cute interaction, almost everyone swooned.

Silence suddenly filled the area.

"...Human, what did you just say?"

Cale had actually thought a lot about the Black Dragon's name, contrary to the Black Dragon's expectation. A name was a special thing given to someone. For Kim Rok Soo who had to live on his own, the only thing that was given to him by his parents was his name.

They frown. They remember how tcf!Cale was previously an orphan and was also abused. "How could anyone do that to such a good person, much less a child." They were seething just thinking about it.

"Your first name is Raon."

Raon. It meant joyful in pure Korean.

"And your last name is Miru."

Miru. Pure Korean for Dragon.

Joyful Dragon. It was a funny name, but Cale had come up with it with full sincerity. He was worried that Choi Han might be suspicious of a pure Korean name, but he had come up with an excuse for that as well.

Joyful Dragon. They look at the chubby bubbly cute dragon who once again was flying around the humans at the center and thought that it was a very good name.

"My joyful dragon," Sheritt thought as she looks at his son that was full of a bright smile.

A calm voice reached the Black Dragon's ears. However, The Black Dragon had never seen such an expression on Cale's face before. A calm smile was on Cale's face right now.

"I came up with this name in the hopes that you will be happy and live a joyful life."

Ahh

"How heartwarming" tcf!Jack said clutching his heart.

While Raon was overjoyed that his human wish him to live happily.

"...What does it mean?"

The Black Dragon asked Cale for the meaning of the name. Cale pointed to the Black Dragon with his index finger.

"You."

Raon and Miru. Neither of these words existed in this world. There was only one thing these two words stood for in this world.

"Cale-nim really did use words from our previous world" as tcf!Choi Han felt nostalgic at hearing the Korean words.

"It is you. They are words just for you and only you."

"...Only me?"

"Yes."

Cale started to smile as he patted the Dragon's head.

"Since you are a great and mighty dragon."

"...Only me ......"

"Humans! See my name is only for me! I'm the one and only Raon Miru!"

Raon said as he circle around the Caleplets.

While The Cales look amuses at the dragon's antics.

The Black Dragon mumbled to himself for a while before patting away Cale's hand from his head and stretched out his wings. His wings were fluttering rapidly as he snorted.

"I guess it is useful. I will do you a special service and use this name."

"Sure, Raon."

The Dragon started to scrunch his nose. The corners of his lips were twitching as he flew up into the air.

"I am the great and mighty Raon Miru."

"That's right! I am great and mighty Raon Miru!" Raon said proudly as he flap his wings in excitement.

Everyone was smiling at the cute lively dragon.

"Thank you, Cale."

"...What?"

Cale looked toward Raon with surprise. However, The Black Dragon was already back to normal.

"Human, how is it that you cannot understand the first time?"

"Why don't you say it once more?"

"Yes why don't you say it again?" tcf!Cale teasingly said.

"Hmph, human need to clean his ears!" as he looks away red-colored his chubby cheeks.

"D'aww" tboah!Cale said as he was about to pinch the cute chubby cheek.

"No need to get shy~" as og!Cale also reaching out to pinch.

Raon bats his paw at them. "Hmph!"

Cale started to smile as he tried to pat Raon's head. Raon headbutted the palm and strongly objected.

"No. I really, truly, absolutely will not! Weak human, go inside and sleep! You will catch a cold."

However, contrary to his actions, Raon's wings were fluttering and his tail was wagging like On and Hong. Cale quietly laughed at Raon's appearance. The quietly laughing Cale was very visible, even though it was night time and they were out in the ocean.

"Aww... What a cute interaction" tcf!Tasha was gushing at how cute those two are.

"How nice that it ended happily." tboah!Tasha said satisfied at what she witnessed.

Meanwhile, the Cales was still teasing Raon who was pawing them as the cats joined in pawing to defend their youngest.
