Viola produced an icy smile. “What’s the point? Money had driven my parents insane so they just want

me to marry into the Ben family like crazy. I hate it but you know, they are wheeler–dealers who care

about only

profit.”

Viola took the tissue from Zona’s hand and wiped tears by herself. “I have run away from home for such

a long

time but they didn’t even give me a call. What do they think I am? A tool?”

“I understand.” Nova took her hand tightly and said in a low tone. “The marriage is not good for you at all.

Your father intends to trade you for cooperation with the Ben family.”

“I knew his intention, but what else can I do now? keep resisting? It’s just a fool’s errand and I still can’t

get

away with it.”

Zona also got furiously. “This time your father has gone too far! I have heard that the Bens are all

duplicitous

snobs though they are rich, everyone’s faults are not written on their foreheads! people all steer clear of

them

in case they stab you on the back.!”

Looking at the sorrowful Viola, Nova patted her hand consolingly. “If the scandal of the Ben family was

exposed, your father would drop his idea forever.”

Viola’s dull eyes regained focus and she subconsciously looked at Nova. “But how…”

“I’ve got an idea.”

Nova’s voice was soft but her eyes firmly.

Zona exclaimed, “What are you going to do? What’s the detail?! I can help you with it!”

Nova tweaked the corner of her mouth at Zona’s words. “You will see. I will try my best to solve the

problem.

for Viola within three days. And the thing you can do is to go back home and pretend to be obedient to

parent’s wishes.”

Nova gave her a comforting smile. “Trust me.”

Zona never was an inquisitive girl and she knew that what Nova did must be justified, so she didn’t ask

more about the details. And viola was still in a bad mood, she didn’t want to evoke her sore point again.

As the night was over, Viola regained her vitality, and Nova’s words still haunted her mind.

Looking at the food in her hand, she barely felt like taking a bite now. “Nova, do you really have a

solution to

help me?” Viola couldn’t help but raise her eyes to Nova.

“Yes, but it’s still up to you whether we can solve the problem.” Nova gave her an earnest nod.

Viola’s worried look disappeared gradually at her answer, she said with just a suggestion of a smile, “You

know, I am willing to do anything to call off the engagement. You just have to tell me what should I do!”

Nova didn’t tell her what to do but squinted her eyes. “I remembered that the young Ben was kind of like

you,

right?”

It gave Viola goosebumps to think of it. “He is a complete playboy! He got his eye on every girl as long as

she

has certain definite beauties.”

Nova nodded thoughtfully. “I do know some secrets about the young Ben and given the announcement

of your

engagement, we might as well beat them at their own game.”

“What’s the detail?”

Nova raised the corner of her lips and told them her plan explicitly. The more Viola had known, the more

her

eyes lit up!

“Nova, it’s very kind of you to do so for me!” Viola’s gratitude almost threw herself at Nova if it were not

for

the desk between them.

The amazement in Zona’s eyes also was obvious. “It’s indeed a great way!!! Let’s get started right
