Chapter 312 Nova in Danger

Simon and Henry both landed their gaze on his phone.

When Lan saw the caller’s ID, he smiled and said, “See, my goddess is calling. I really like this girl.

Would you guys like me to bring her here and introduce her to you?”

“No, thanks.”

Simon and Henry said in unison. Apparently, they didn’t want to waste time on a woman that perhaps

would be ditched by Lan in a week.

Lan darkened his face. “Damn, man!”

He then stood up and headed outside. “I’ll pick up a call. Come back later.”

The other two men remained silent while Lan strode outside.

He paced back and forth in the corridor on the phone, and, when he saw a bunch of waiters serving

dishes to another box, he also felt a little hungry.

The door of the box was opened.

He subconsciously cast a glance into that box and found two familiar figures which shocked him so that

he even changed his expression.

He hurriedly said to the phone. “Baby, I gotta something really really important here. Call me later.”

After the girl said okay, he hang up and trotted back to his box.

Simon and Henry were drinking, and Lan said to Henry, “Hey, I just saw a chick! You must be interested.”

Henry frowned and looked at him impatiently.

Simon had guessed something and said, “Nova Bush?”

Henry immediately showed coldness in his eyes when he landed his eyes on Lan again.

Lan nodded. “I saw her in the box next door with a man. The servants were bringing dishes inside. Only

the two of them were in the box. A man and a woman. Oh, can you guess who the man is?”

The more Lan said, the more excited he seemed to be. “I can’t see him more clearly.”

Simon frowned. If the man was someone ordinary, Lan wouldn’t act as if he wanted to watch a good

show played by Henry, which meant that the man must be a threat to Henry’s affection towards Nova or

to Nova’s safety.

Could it be… Chester Don?

Anger was simmering in Henry’s heart. Seeing this, Simon asked for Henry. “Who is he?”

Henry looked at Lan with a sullen face.

Lan clicked his tone and said, “Payne.”

Simon was shocked, and, when he turned to Henry, he suddenly felt the temperature in the room much

lower. Simon said immediately, “Henry, you know more than anyone what kind of man Payne is. If they

are together,

Nova Bush would be in danger.”

Lan even laughed out. “Can’t say that. Nova had divorced anyway. As a single woman, she could do

anything she wants. Besides, Nova is not stupid.”

Simon frowned. However, before he could say a word, Lan continued goading Henry into action with
