Chapter 341 Short Answer

“Sorry, Miss Bush, but the fact that Henry and Lan were there was reported to you in advance. We just

didn’t bargain on their intervention when they ran into it…”

Kelly didn’t buy her explanation at all, lashed, “Cassie, I’m telling you for the last time, if you dare to

make such a stupid mistake again, I won’t let you get away with it!”

The last few words were said through gritted teeth.

But Cassie felt greatly relieved hearing that. She knew she just barely dodged a bullet.

In fact, it was really not her fault since she had given her a head up about Henry and Lan.

On the airplane. No communication at all between Henry and Nova. Nova had fallen asleep with an eye

cover. After all…

Henry sat awake listening to the sound of Nova’s placid breathing. After a while, he turned his head and

studied Nova’s delicate face. Her eyes were blocked by the eye cover, making her more accessible and

less aggressive than she was awake. Wittingly or unwittingly,

Henry leaned his body forward to take a closer look at her.

He had never scrutinized her face before when they were still a lawful couple.

Or been on the same plane with her like this.

But she had a really good sleep even with Henry by his side.

Not long after, the plane stopped and they got off together.

To be specific, Nova followed Henry getting off and out of the airport.

But Nova couldn’t understand why Henry exuded an aggressively freezing vibe after landing.

They got someone to pick them up, who was waiting for them for a long time at the exit of the airport.

“Welcome you, Mr. King.”

Henry gave a brief nod as his reply.

Nova was still behind Henry, standing straight.

“Please, Mr. King, in the car. I’ll take the two of you to the hotel.”

No eye contact and no talking, they got in the car silently.

In the back seat, Nova intentionally kept herself apart from Henry.

It was late at night, time to rest actually.

his attitude toward Henry was worlds apart from his attitude to Nova. “Mr. King, you may take a look to

see if you are satisfied with it. If not, I will change a room for you

“It’s good.” Henry’s answer was short.

Helplessly, Nova attempted to ask the contact man where her room was.

Before she could speak, the man left after nodding his greeting.

“Have a good night, Mr. King.”

Still, Henry made no response. “Wait!” Nova cried.

“Anything else, young lady?”
