"Umm Honey this is my brother's boyfriend Cliff" Maya said as the guy waved at me.

"They live here with me"

"Oh well Cliff nice to meet you" I gently smiled

"Maya it was nice meeting you enjoy the rest of your night." I said & hurried out the door catching a taxi.

I laid back against the seat wondering why I ran out but I couldn't make this into something it wasn't.

I arrived home to see a car that I didn't plan on seeing, I mentally rolled my eyes & entered my 8 million dollar house to see it pitch black.

Just then a light came on, "shit" I jumped to see my estranged wife sitting there with a glass of wine in her hand.

"Drew you scared me" I said taking my shoes off.

"Where you been?" She asked

I rolled my eyes & walked in the kitchen to get a water.

"Umm did you hear me Valerie?"

"I heard you Drew what are you doing here you dont live here anymore" I said going upstairs with her following me.

"Well this is my house & I will come here when I feel like it"

I rolled my eyes & entered my bedroom, "You still never told me where you were"

"That's none of your business we are not together remember"

"But legally you are still my wife & I will ask you what the hell I want too"

"Look I am tired & I want to shower & go to sleep so get out" I said.

"What this is my room too"

"Hell no your not sleeping in here go in the guest or go back to your place, be gone when I get out the shower" I said walking in the bathroom shutting the door.

So back story of my life is not as bad as everyone would think, my dad owned a record company that my mom was the top selling artist on we had money & I dont have to work but once my mother passed away from cancer my father married a woman half is age & she hates me so I don't see him as often.

Now about Drew, we meet in college & we dated for years before getting married she meant the world to me I took care of her but she wasn't satisfied & decided to cheat on me multiple times it hurt badly & I couldn't be married to her anymore but we are separated & I am ready to signed the papers.

I stood in the shower & thought about how that girl Maya made me feel in that moment.
