You lead me to the light

Brought me back to life

Only to push me to darker depths

Inside of me

I didn't know existed

The reality of it all

What was said

And was done

Maybe it was all a dream

A good one to be precise

Something I'd never see

Happen in front of my eye

As I finally let go

Hope you know that this wasn't just a

fleeting emotion

Like the ones we see everywhere

This was my heart

Just as pure and raw

As it could be

Now I bleed

Cause I've sinned

I showed you what I should've kept hidden

Underneath the facade that I am

As much as it hurts to walk away

I hope you'll find all the happiness

From where your heart lies

Leads me back to you
