Antara: Abhi?

Antara: I need you.

Antara: I am sorry. Please text me back.

Antara: Abhi I really want to talk with someone right now.

Antara: I went on a dinner date with Ravi. His family was also there. Everything was going well but suddenly he asked me for marriage. He said he wants to marry me and likes me a lot and according to him I am a perfect match for him. He respects my hard work and dedication towards teaching but unfortunately he doesn't want me to continue my work after marriage. His mother also took his side and said that after marriage my duty is to take care of their family.

Antara: This is so wrong Abhi. I should be allowed to work. It's my life. I have done so much of hard work so that I could earn a reputed job for myself and make my family proud.

Antara: You know what Abhi? My family wanted me to become a teacher and therefore I took teaching line as my career. They all knew that how much passion I had for writing. I wanted to become an author but everybody said that I won't be able to achieve success in that. It hurts so much Abhi when when you are not able to pursue your dreams.

Antara: My parents have spent a lot of money on my education and now I want to help them financially, emotionally and mentally, that is why I rejected his proposal. I don't want to be caged. I want my partner to understand my dreams, my capabilities and I want us both to work in our respective fields.

Antara: Right now I am going back home. I will straight away tell my family whatever happened at the restaurant and I hope they support my decision.

Antara: Abhi please text me, I really want to talk to you right now.
