No Chance Of Remarriage: Get Lost Chapter 375
Honey We Are Not Getting Remarried: Get Away From Me!
Chapter 375 Do You Think Iâll Remarry You in This Way?
âGarry?â
The situation was driving Linda up the wall.
She couldnât understand.
Gareth doesnât like Elisa. He thinks that sheâs pretentious. But why are they still entangled with each other? They even... on a bed!
She seemed to be crying as Gareth heard soft sniffing noises on his end of the line.
He furrowed his brows and looked at Elisa grimly. âElisa, enough!â
Is she finally revealing her true colors?
Elisa smiled. âEnough? How is it enough? Look how sad Linda is. Why donât you comfort her the way you were treating me yesterday?â
After all, she was almost touched when the supercilious Mr. Wickam affectionately treated her injury.
His harsh gaze fell on her face.
Elisa couldnât help but smirk. Gareth hated explaining himself. He wouldnât have told Linda that all he did was treat her injury on the sofa.
But Linda, who didnât know the truth, was hyperventilating.
Rage burned in her eyes.
She held back her anger and whined in a sad voice. âGarry, I wonât stand in your way if you like Elisa. You donât need to feel guilty because I saved you. I... I think that...â
âWhat will you do then?â Amused, Elisa cut in. âYou can just give me Mr. Wickam if youâre willing to. But youâll have to keep your word. Donât just pay lip service to the idea and yet end up in the hospital. Mr. Wickam will have to be there to take care of you out of guilt.â
Garethâs expression froze as Elisaâs words seemed to remind him of something.
Linda was seething.
She never expected Elisa to say such things with Gareth around.
âElisa! How could you say that to me?!â She said disbelievingly.
Elisa laughed lightly, unruffled by the situation. âWhat else should I say then? Everything was fine until you woke up. We divorced because of you. Donât you think itâs strange?â
âGarry, thatâs not true. Elisa misunderstood me. You wonât do the same, right? I, I never imagined I would wake up too. Iâm sorry, Garry. I shouldnât have woken up...â
He frowned. âLinda, itâs not what you think. Iâll meet you when I get back.â
Elisa couldnât hold back her laugh. Gareth ended the call before she could say another word.
She raised an eyebrow. âAre you worried that sheâll be upset by my words? How caring.â
He raised his head and gave her a frigid smile. âDo you think Iâll remarry you in this way?â
A laugh escaped from her mouth. âDonât, Mr. Wickam. I never had any intention of remarrying you. But Iâll give you a word of advice. Linda is not as simple as you think. The great Mr. Wickam is being played by a woman again and again. You really should take some time and investigate the reason behind her hospitalizations.â
Gareth only stared at her icily. âDonât think of stirring things up with just some words. You donât mean anything to me, Elisa.â
He put down his cutleries and left for the master bedroom.
Elisa quirked an eyebrow as she continued her meal, unaffected by his actions.
The food was delectable. Driving Linda up the wall was a delightful appetizer to the meal.
On the other hand, Linda called Garethâs number again. He didnât answer the call.
âAargh!â
