chapter 18

I thought Mr Akhil was a clingy guy otherwise who would want to become friends just because she saved him from theft, so I said " Ok". But he said "it's class time you should not waste this.. we will meet after school at the same place".  What a strange day I just got a friend without my consent and he also asked me to meet him outside. Then he left after his discussions with school committee members and said me before leaving "Don't forget our appointment". I just shake my head and smiled not to make situation difficult. As usual my day at school ends with lots of classes and preparing for the function, our school was going to held it's silver jubilee celebration for this we had to prepare so much things, so those days were slightly busiest than normal days. When school ends I picked up kids then I remembered that I had an appointment with Mr Akhil Tripathy,  Then I called Sudha and asked if she was free or not because I didn't want to leave my twin kids alone again. Sudha said she can be with them only upto 7.30pm and time was already 5.00pm. I decided it would not take that much time only to drink a cup of coffee, so I left home after Sudha came to the house. When I entered restaurant he was already sitting on a chair and watching outside through glass windows of restaurant from where you can watch whole market. I went to him and said "sorry for making you wait". He said "it's not that much time, I only waited half an hour". By saying these words he came towards me and pulled chair out for me ...like a gentleman. I feel awkward and said "you don't have to do this". He said "it's just my habbit". I said "ooo" and smiled .It's really awkward for me to  say something, so I didn't say anything. He said " what you want to drink !" Then we ordered coffee. He said "Are you a regular costumer here?". I said "yes, actually it's my friends restaurant and before two years I used to work here". He said "I heard this restaurant has two owners, two friend's restaurant..  that means .." . I said "yes, I am one of them" then I smiled. He said" then how you end up to become teacher?" I said " it was a wish of mine". He smiled at that time our order came and I said  "if you don't mind I have to leave quickly because I have some work and actually seriously you don't have to treat me just I saved you from a theft". He said" it's not for the theft you saved". I got confused and said"what?". He said again " it's not for the theft". Then I said" then why you wanted to treat me?". He said"you didn't remember but Three years ago there were a food truck named 's square', and two girls used to work there". I said " that was ours, before restaurant We used to run a food truck, what's with that". I got scared if we offended someone that time otherwise why a big business man would want to find us. He said" those days were toughest days of my life so I end up to commit suicide". I got shocked he was looking very normal and always wear a smile not like Aditya who didn't know how to smile but what could be the reason for him to took a big step like this! Again he continued" but a girl from that food truck saved me and said something that I never forget and after that I got admitted at hospital then leave for aboard". After listening this I remembered that yes something like that happened in my past but I didn't remember  who was that. He said "after coming from aboard I want to thankyou for that so I searched for you...and what a coincidence we met really today... ". I got happy and thought I was not that  great in a person but today I felt proud of myself that atleast my words saved someone and offcourse I saved city's number one businessman. I smiled and said "I'm happy that I saved a great person". He said" so I really wants thank you... thanks". I smiled and said "you are welcome". He said " so can you accept my friendship now!". I said" ok let's be friends". Then I finished coffee and said " I have to leave now". He said " ok ". Then we got up and he paid for coffee and said "I think our coffee date is good".
