chapter 21

Without getting late I arrived at home on time but I was not in a good mood but I already decided to stay strong. When I went inside the house Sudha said "Hey, you are here, thank God you are not late otherwise..." . Then she stopped and looked at me and said "Are you ok! Is something happened?". I came to my senses and said "I think you will get wrinkles on your face early and will grow old soon". She got surprised and touched her face and said "what! Why?". I smiled and said "look at you..  you are worrying like a grandmother that means you will become a soon...". I tried to tease her and said "hey listen just find someone good and get married soon otherwise ...who will marry a granny like you". Then I smiled by seeing her surprised and worrying face, she was someone to whom I would remain great ful for my whole life because she was the only one who stayed by my side till then. Then she said "stop teasing me, I'm getting late ... kids are studying..  I will be late so don't wait for me". Then she picked her purse and keys then left. I took a long sigh and then went inside the kids room, they were studying when I went inside their room, Aarav said "mom you are here!" . I said "huh". By seeing me Adwiti got startled and put something under books and came running to me and hugged me like she wants to prevent me from going further. She said "mom you are here". I hugged her and said "yes my baby" and gave a pat to her. I asked " what you guys want to eat for dinner?". They said together "Allu paratha". Then I smiled and hugged them and said "ok".  After dinner they both slept and I was just cleaning their desk at that time I found a painting it was that painting which one Adwiti tried to hide from me. When I looked at that painting I got surprised and tears rains without any notice. It was a painting in which she draws me, Aarav,herself and a man with only name "papa". That made me more sad because I can't fulfill my kid's wish and for the first time I felt ...should I find a father for my kids! But Is it okay to do that!        From next day onwards I got busy at school for silver Jubilee celebrations because it only left two weeks for that. After a week we decided our guests for function as expected among them one was Aditya Roy and the most troubling matter was I had to invite them personally. Already officially invitation were sent,  but now personally someone to go invite all the guests. I refused to do that but it got more difficult so finally I accepted to do that but it was very akward  for me. Everytime we meet didn't do anything other than arguing. But finally I gathered  my courage and decided to go. It was a very difficult task for me.... Would I able to complete it!
